~After ren Teleports from the labyrinth~
I Joshua Graham have been transported to another world with my classmates. At first I was panicked scared of what had happened and then I learnt of our situation. Heroes from another world. I had thought that it was total bullshit and it was some form of prank but I had seen first hand powers that could not be proven in our world. I was granted the title of hero and a flurry of powerful skills and abilities as well as excellent growth. A few of my classmates had gained similar classes that specified their traits.
The king had told us that we would enter a dungeon of some kind after we had trained to our limits in the training grounds. When we finally went to the dungeon we learnt the true reality of our situation. We were clumsy and stupid. Letting us think that the short training time that we all did independently would suddenly make us all powerful just because of the titles that we had gained and the stats that we had achieved. We were naïve. We lost one of our own the gloomy kid that the class disliked. He always had a look like he was superior it irked me no it irked us so we all hated him. He would cry over the simplest things like getting hit and being made fun of. To be honest I never cared about him after we were sent here. we never saw him unless he was training. But it still shook us as the majority of the class had refused to go back to the dungeon after seeing that creature and seeing him die. Some mourned over a classmate taking that as the reason for not wanting to go. Why would they stop their destiny over him? Sure he should have died and I wish he didn't I'm not that cold and we were born in a modern society. But it doesn't matter anyways.
Yaah (<--Grunting noises)
With a swing of my blade I cleaved the creature in half after rigorous training and dungeon experience.
"Good going guys we cleared another floor that's 13 now."
"We seem to be progressing rapidly compared to others even Joshua has one of his stats at C-rank."
"We only need to push further down and we wil gain more strength. We will reach a boss room after we clear two more floors. Kate do you sense a place where we can rest and regroup"
"No I suggest we leave for the day as there's a teleportation ring on the last floor."
"You heard her let's get back"
"Yes leader"(Everyone)

It had been months since he had died yet I still feel so shitty. I berated him for the littlest things and played with his emotions like some sick fuck. Trying to lead him on like he was a lost puppy to do my bidding but he never fell for it and yet I persistently tried to justify my actions but now that he is gone I can't. I hate it why, I wanted to at least apologize for what I had done but it's too late for me to redeem myself. I hope I can make it up some way to him.aybe if I fight with the others and go home I can apologize to his parent's and find some form of forgiveness. If only...if only you didn't play the hero in the end.
~Joshua's POV (AKA Josh)~
We were currently in an audience with the king but unlike before I was not kneeling and was level with him. our progress had broken what most people could ever do in their lives and thus we were treated like prodigy's on top of heroes. Leaving only a few more floors until we reached the record for the furthest delved into a dungeon. Even the knight captain one of the strongest people in the known world has only reached the 20th floor where that boss was before retreating from the dungeon. After the celebration was over the king gave us offerings to progress our strength. Charms that amplify our attributes created by the best blacksmiths in the kingdom using the pinnacle of their technology. This and the technomancers status devices that would allow us to see our stamina and health along with our stats.

I had finally broken through to C rank in my mana capacity showing that I was a prodigy. The more beings that are killed the more mana you gain as you absorb part of their mana capacity or you can expand your mana by exhausting it but it takes more time than killing monsters. As the portable status panel was new, It didn't show our skills but they did show temporarily when our skills leveled up.
Soon I'll be stronger than anyone else in this world and then I'll be the best, Hailed as a hero of the capital saviour. I can't wait to face that boss again and kill it with my companions. Then we can reach the true depths and meet true glory.
We were heading back to the labyrinth when a large earthquake had unsettled the area near the dungeon. We prepared our weapons for combat and got into a defensive stance. The sky flashed like thunder had struck and the quake faded. We breathed a sigh of relief but I felt as if something unimaginable had descended from that flash whatever it was...scared me.
We took a quick break before delving into the labyrinth. We swiftly cut through the floors of the labyrinth to our current floor just before the 14th floor door. Opening the door and slowly walking down we were met by a room covered in green slime and a floor covered in water. This is like nothing I have seen before in the dungeon floors. I turn to my companions.
"Stay close guys we don't know what is down here or if it's a boss room"
"Got it"
We slowly walked into the room checking the corners and behind the goo pillars.
"Ahead of us!"
A large slime-like creature rolled towards us with what seemed to be its eyes? staring curiously at us. It would have looked cute if not for the fact that it was transparent and inside of it was monster looking creatures and organs floating about and slowly dissolving leaving only blood remaining. It jumped towards us at a surprising speed ignoring all laws of motion I shot off a spell as fast as I could but before the skill formation could finish it had already arrived at my face. I unsheathed my sword and swung as fast as possible but even though I was fast enough my sword just glided through it with the slime reconnecting right after the sword had passed through. It would be impossible to spot it apart but there's most likely a core inside of the gore that it is storing inside of itself. May as well use my most powerful skills.

Cycling...cycling...Done
My flesh was torn from my bones as I lost control of my body as she took over. Power coursed through my body as my stats had increased by a rank. My vision started to get blurry as I let myself sleep in the comfort of my protector....
