"You still haven't cleaned your dirt." Ivy hissed with gritted teeth.
"I did get dressed as you said. And I will get you a new t-shirt in place of the-"
"Clean up Xade boy," Ivy demanded, "NOW!"
*Xade's POV*
"Clean up Xade boy," Ivy demanded, "NOW!"
Man! What's with that name. It's just Xade! And I am no boy, I am a man.
For some reason, my body moved as per the Tiny Girl's command, and I picked a cloth before wiping the platform and ground where I had spilled beer.
I, a prince, royalty, am doing the work of servants! I can't believe myself.
But if mom and dad find out how much I had pissed her rather than wooing her, I'd be dead meat for sure.
I looked towards the couches to see Ivy sitting at the center of the couch facing her office and smirking. She looked no less than a tyrant and it was clear she's looking down upon me.
I gritted my teeth at my last thought.
"Douchebag." I heard her murmur.
That's it! I turned and walked to her, and her smirk grew.
Ah man! I don't have a good feeling about this.
I paused on my footsteps thinking what she wanted.
"My office. My desk, the ground by the couch for visitors and both couches. Clean the beer and buy two couches as replacement and an apology for the mess you caused." Her eyes sharp as she said that.
*Ivy's POV*
By his movements in clearing the platform and ground from his beer, it was clear he never did a chore in his life. I kinda enjoyed the view and I could tell he was pissed.
"Douchebag." I murmured thinking of the luxurious life he was used to.
He turned around after finishing and started walking to me which made my smirk grow. He could tell I was up to no good.
"My office. My desk, the ground by the couch for visitors and both couches. Clean the beer and buy two couches as replacement and an apology for the mess you caused." I decided to be a little lenient.
He glared at me lightly before going in. I followed behind and sat on my leather office chair.
"You will also take these couches right now as you leave. Think of it as a gift from my end."
His hands stilled at my statement.
*Xade's POV*
"You will also take these couches right now as you leave. Think of it as a gift from my end."
What the hell does she think of herself! I can't even think of spending another minute with her, forget my life. Hell! I'd rather die.
"All done, you will get the new couches by tomorrow evening." I smirked inwardly as another thought came up to my mind.
She seemed to want everything in order, neat and tidy. I will get her rags which don't even go with her furniture. The best revenge for now, till my parents don't let go of the thought of me marrying her.
"Not just yet." She interrupted me as I was already at the door of her office.
She is nothing but trouble.
"What?!" I ended up yelling at her. Her eyes sparkled in glee at my little outburst.
MAN! I gave her the pleasure she wanted all along.
"You have to take away your dirt right now. And I will tell you the new set of furniture I want and that is what you will send here."
She seemed to have seen through my thoughts. FUCK!
"No thanks, I don't need your couches and I have a better taste than yours, so I will decide upon what to buy as an apology."
"You won't be leaving without these couches out of here."
As she said that, I saw a couple guards at the entrance of the elevator and in the waiting room.
They were a piece of cake for me, but I couldn't blow my cover either or the next story would be mom's slipper imprinted on my cheek! I groaned in annoyance.
"I won't take them."
"Try leaving without them."
I walked out taking her challenge only to realize that the guards were actually vampires.
HOW?!
I was truly frustrated now.
'Your father has sent us. 'You are to woo the princess, not infuriate her!' were his words,' the guard coming to me spoke in my head.
"You cannot leave unless the madam says so."
He had a poker face, but his eyes were filled with sarcasm.
I took out my phone spat some words through before going back to the office.
"The workers will be here in a while."
She gave me a sarcastic smile. Oh, how I want to claw it off her face!
I put the invitation for the banquet in front of her as I spoke to the previous guard in my head demanding the bouquet immediately.
He came with it and handed it to me which I put on the Little Girl's desk before going to the glass window and leaning my back on it, watching her look through the bouquet as she opened the invitation.
She skimmed through it with a slight frown forming. I couldn't help but wonder what's up with the expression.
After exactly one minute, she looked at me with a small smile. Oh, it was tiny. If not for me gauging her expressions closely, I wouldn't have known.
"Thanks for the offer. I'll see if I can make time."
And that's what is called a polite rejection, I snickered silently.
The card did intrigue her, but something was stopping her at the same time. What could it be?
"You aren't normal." Her voice brought me out of my thoughts.
I narrowed my eyes on her as she looked at me with suspicion in hers.
What the hell was happening?! I cried inwardly.
I could not give off even a whiff of not being human or my whole body would be imprinted with mom's slippers.
"Your energy is different from all humans I've ever met."
She spoke as though she wasn't human, which she wasn't, but she wasn't supposed to know that either. She must be fooling around. She surely knew nothing.
Trying to play it cool, I just said "you talk like you aren't human yourself," filling my voice with as much sarcasm.
"Just as you aren't," came her quick reply.
I was still surprised at the turn of the conversation.
"Who was the guard that brought the flowers?"
I kept my silence.
"Oh, thanks for them. They got a beautiful message." She smiled saying that.
"He is just like you, is he not?" her eyes assessed me like I was a prey she was going leap and bite onto.
I couldn't help but stare at her.
"What is stopping you from leaving if they aren't my guards?"
"Or there are more of you?"
DAMN!!!!!!!!!
Her questions weren't ending. I didn't know how to get rid of the suspicion. I could only pray for a distraction now.
