Chapter 14 - Chapter No.14:-God Of Weapons

"Oo, you are here."

Hearing the voice, Adam wakes up and looks at a man dressed in a fancy martial arts-type robe that highlights his body.

seated before a low table with a teapot set on it, with a long smoking pipe in his hand.

"You are quite late; I thought you would get here early."

The man said as he smoked from his pipe:

Adam walked to him without saying anything, sat opposite the man, and poured a cup of tea for him.

"Sir, tea," Adam said as he smelled the nice fragrance of the tea.

"Oo, you're different from what Rex said."

The man spoke as he took a sip of the tea.

"Hmm, it hits differently every time I drink it."

"Sir, what do you need in return? "For you teach me"

Adam said, as he knew from his master, that nothing is free in this world and everything has a reason.

Adam did not want to take anything for granted anymore; he knew that everything that the beings in the world of achievements got came from their hard work, and he did not want to get it without giving them something in return.

"Oo, I don't need anything."

The man replied casually.

Hearing it, Adam was surprised, but he did not let it go as he continued to ask.

"You see, child, in the world I come from, I was known as the God of Weapons; there is no weapon I can't wield."

The man stopped to smoke again and then continued.

"When I was on top of the world, I could wield 10 million weapons. In my world, there was no one that could rival me, so I was bored. So after sometime, I took in 1 million disciples, taught them the way of weapons, and made a kingdom of warriors that followed me."

Again, he stopped and smoked.

"Those disciples of mine travelled around many worlds and brought my wealth that could even put the goddess of wealth to shame, so I don't need anything, so give up."

the man said as he continued to smoke.

Hearing everything, Adam was shocked and

His mind went blank.

"God of weapons, one million disciples, put the goddess of wealth to shame."

"But I do have a regret," "the man said.

Hearing it, Adam knew he had a chance to give something in return.

"What is it, sir? I can do anything in my power."

Adam purposely added "in my power" at the end because he knew what kind of nutjob of a being that are in this world of achievements.

They could ask him something that he couldn't do at his level of power.

The man hearing the last part looked at Adam with his eyebrows raised.

[AUTHOR:-like the rock]

"My only regret was that of the one million of my disciples, there was none that could accept my teaching truly and become the next successor of God of weapons," the man said with a face that showed regret.

"What, wait,no one in a million disciples could become the next successor?" Now Adam was shocked for real.

"Why do you think talent like mine can only be found in one in every trillion people in the world?"

"One in a trillion..." Adam whispered.

"Now would you give me what I need?" the man asked.

Adam replied hesitantly, knowing that he would ask something like find him a disciple that could become the successor of the god of weapons," which he knew would be hard, but it was the only way for him to have what he wants without owning anything.

"Then will you become my one million and one disciple?"

"Okay...wait....WHAT! "You want me to become your disciple."

"Yes," the man replied nonchalantly.

"why"Adam asked

"Because you have a talent that is the same or more than mine," he said as he looked at Adam as if he were saying the obvious.

"But it's so sudden, and I don't think my master will like it," Adam said.

"No problem with your master; I have talked with him, and he said that there was no problem."

"Wait, did Master give you his permission?"

Adam was amazed that he knew his master was the kind that took the master-disciple relationship way too seriously, to the point that he even threatened him that he would crawl out of hell if he took anyone else as his master.

"Yes, he did."

"But he said that other techniques are worthless in front of the Heavenly Demon successor?"

"Because he believes that my teachings are worth it," the man said as he smoked his pipe.

"Now will you be my disciple".

"Yes," Adam replied without any hesitation.

"Okay, then kowtow three times, and then you will become my disciple."

Hearing it, Adam sits up straight and kowtows three times.

Seeing the kowtow, a satisfying smile appeared on the man's face.

"I, God of Weapons, Hedwig, take you as my disciple."

"Now let's start your training," Hedwig said as he stood up from his seat and walked to another open area.

Adam also stood up and walked with him.

"Adam, do you know which weapon is the easiest to learn and, at the same time, the hardest to grow in?"

"Hmm, a sword," Adam replied.

"Yes, it is a sword that is easy to learn and, at the same time, hard to grow in."

Hedwig said as he stretched his hand.

where a sword appeared out of nowhere on his hand.

"Master, how did you do that?" Adam asked with amazement.

"This one is our gift for achieving great things in the world," Hedwig replied.

"Gift"

"Yes, the gift to summon things in this world is not limited to things; it can even summon people to his world, but they will die or be temporarily in his world, but no one uses it to summon anyone but to summon weapons or things they like, like that tea," Hedwig said.

Hearing it, Adam was surprised.

to get the ability to summon anyone or anything into his world with any problem.

"Now where was I? Yeah,  a sword is not just the easiest weapon to learn but also has the most fundamental characteristics that are found in every weapon in the world," Hedwig said as he swung the sword.

"fundamental characteristics?"

Adam asked

"Yes, the fundamental characteristics are thrust, swing, and block. In normal conditions, every weapon on the planet only has these three characters, but in some cases, the weapons only have 2 of 3 or 1 of 3 characters."

"Master, I am having a hard time catching up with you, but I do not understand what he is going to teach me." Adam said it with a clueless face.

"I am going to train you in the basics of every weapon that I know. Is it not easy?" Hedwig said with a smile.

"Easy, "are you kidding me?" Adam screamed in his mind.

"I will teach you to swing from every direction so that you can copy someone who fights in unnatural ways.

I will teach you to thrust from every direction so that you can copy someone who thrusts everywhere.

I will teach you to block from every direction so that you get the chance to copy others."

"Now let's start training," Hedwig said as he summoned a million weapons behind him.

Adam, who heard his, was excited, but there was something that bothered him.

"Master, before we start, I need to talk about something," Adam said as he closed up to Hedwig.

Adam started to explain everything that happened.

He was trying to copy his instructor, which resulted in failure, and also asked my Hedwig if she was trying to teach all the weapons when only Vikram had the talent.

Hedwig listened to it silently.

"Let me explain the first problem, then we will talk about the second," Hedwig said after listening.

"Okay"

"The first thing that you need to accept is your talent; you have his copy, which means you need to be bendable."

"bendable?" Adam asked with confusion.

"Sigh..let me explain it. Think of yourself as water and others as vessels. When you pour water into a vessel, what will it do? Hedwig asked.

"It takes the shape of the vessel." Adam replied without wasting a second.

"If that's true, then what happens when you pour yourself into that vessel?" Hedwig asked.

"I take that vessel shape."

"Then what will you look like from the outside?"

Hedwig said this with his hand on his chin.

"I will look like the shape of the vessel."

Adam was now confused by the questions.

"But will you become the vessel?" Hedwig asked.

"Master, I am not able to understand anything."

Adam said that he felt that their conversation was getting nowhere.

"Sigh. Child, you need to understand that even if you poured water into a vessel, It only takes on the shape and its outer appearance, not the vessel itself. "What it means is that you take their outer appearance and execute their moves only using brute strength without knowing the true essence of their moves."

"true essence?"

"Yes, true essence, when you copied your master breathing technique and trained with him, you only needed to focus on one thing, which was his breathing, to understand and copy it, but that way will not work for a battle technique because you need to focus on everything that man has, from his moment to his breathing. You need to copy everything to the point that "you become him."

"I became him." Hearing it, Adam was put in a trance.

as he remembered everything his instructor did.

Stretching his hand out, Adam took on a combat form that looked similar to that of his instructor.

seeing Adam taking a stance Hedwig takes a step back and looks at Adam.

Adam moves forward with executing the technique.

As he was coming to the end of the technique, his punches were growing stronger and stronger until he stopped at the 7th punch, which displayed the same attack power as his instructor, and came out of his trance.

"Nice Nice you did it," Hedwig said as he clapped.

Adam looked at Hedwig with shining eyes.

"Now, even if it was trash technique, you still executed it perfectly," Hedwig said as he gave him a pat on the shoulder.

"Trash technique?" Adam looked at Hedwig as if he were saying something wrong.

"What with the look, kid?"

"Master, why did you call it the trash technique?"

"Because it is useless in real-life battles, like, like who in their right mind will use this technique in a battle where you need to kill a small monster in one hit, but this technique needs 7 consecutive punches to defeat a monster? That kind of technique in our world is trash."

Hearing everything his master just said, Adam thought

(If trash technique in his world can make an A-rank hero in my world, what kind of world did the master come from, and I'm sorry, instructor Jon, on behalf of my master.)

who remembered instructor Jon bragging about how great fighting technique is.

"Now about the reason why I want you to become my disciple," Hedwig said.

Hearing it come out of Adam's thoughts

"There are three reasons why I want to take you as my disciple.

First, your talent can rival the greatest being in the world; who wouldn't want that kind of talent as their disciple?

"Second, I was jealous of your master."

WHAT!

Adam felt his head spin as he was caught off-guard by what Hedwig just said.

(Why wouldhe be jealous of my master?)

Seeing the look on Adam's face, Hedwig sighed.

"Adam, your master, was the leader of the greatest unorthodox sect, the Heavenly Demonic sect.

He was a man who was forced to reckon with, and with his monster talent, he stood at the top of the world. Even my achievements paled against his.

and now he has a disciple who is even more of a monster and is born to bring despair to any enemy he faces.

Who in their mind would not be jealous?

of him

And if someone is not jealous of him, then that man should have a disciple who has talent equal to yours or even greater.

now the Third reason.....
