suddenly hearing one of his skills activating,that too a one that he did not know about.
seeing the skills name starting with 'cursed' Adam knew that this skill was something important and that he needed to look it up quickly but he did not get the time for it .
At the moment Adam lost focus on the match Mac used it as a chance to close up to Adam.
attacking him with his hand shaped as claws of animals.
"is that the tiger claw technique of the max ways"
"yes, I heard that the tiger claws have huge destructive power"
Everything was heard by vikram and others as they looked at Adam who was facing it with concern.
on the receiving end adam understood that it is trash technique after seeing it.
even if Adam never saw or learned any technique before but training in the hall of past did improve his knowledge on every weapon which includes the Gauntlet.
"why is my body feeling heavy all of a sudden?"
Adam thought because he was having a hard time dodging the attacks even if he knew the technique was trash and the power behind it was nothing.
"you rat,do you only know to dodge, fight me like a man"
Mac yelled as he clawed with his right hand at Adam's face.
hearing it Adam's mind snapped as he yelled.
"you bastard and your sorry excuse of a technique will die today"
as he dodge the attack by turning his head sideways then with his left hand shaped in the form of a claw.
Adam attacked with the same technique that Mac used, from behind mac's right arm.
seeing the claws coming for his face Mac retreated back dodging the attack.
"why did I lose my temper there?"
adam felt he was out of character for minutes there.
but for what reason it was unknown to Adam as he tried to find the answer.
but he was not the only one that noticed this change.

"did you see it" Vikram asked.
"Yes"both Julia and Alexander replied.
suddenly the three looked at each other.
"Adam never loses his cool normally"
vikram said with serious face.
spending time with adam, vikram, Alexander and Julia knew that he is not some one that loses his cool normally and always stays rational every second whenever they meet so they felt something wrong was happening.
but they dare not jump into conclusion as they focused back on him who suddenly stood still on the ring.

he felt like he was wronged by the world but he did not have time to think any more as Mac was back on his feet with his claw ready attack.
"now it's getting interesting" Mac said but deep inside he was feeling confused.

Adam was having difficulty in dodging the attack as his mind was in a great conflict as his mind split into two first being his rational side because of his basic stats and other irrational side that came into existence because of Mac's stats.
and this conflict between his rational and irrational mind slowly started to affect his body moments.
the irrational side wanted to charge in without any care for his safety and the rational side that was left because of his intelligence was fighting for the control over his body as his body switched between the calm human side to the wild beast style that resembles Mac's combat side.
Adam started to understand the importance of having high intelligence stats It did not just increase his ability to learn and understand things faster but it also increased his concentration and kept him level minded in all situations for him to think rationally for solutions.
having his self-healing skill locked wounds started to slowly accumulate on his body because of his irrational sides fighting like a wild beast.

"Something is definitely wrong about Adam"
Alexander said as he looked at Adam.
with arched back and bend knee Adam looked like a werewolf with hands shaped as a claw which slowly started to resemble Mac's stands.

the moment Lily said that Vikram, Alexander and Julia looked at her with shock in their eyes.

hearing which vikram hesitated to take action.
seeing vikram stop moving Julia moved forward to him and whispered into his ears.

Michelle felt the uneasiness in his voice so with calm voice she said.

as she pointed at the chair in front of her table.
vikram sits down and starts to explain everything that happened.

"You're saying this student Adam is fighting abnormally and you feel there is something wrong,
so you barged into my room without my consent and missing up the whole room."
Michelle spoke as she looked at Vikram face to face.
with nod vikram replied say "yes"
"sigh.. ok let me look up his data"
Michelle said as she looked up Adam's personal data.
with one click the profile on her side of the transparent screen turned to face vikram she asked
"is this the student you talked about"
"No" Vikram replied seeing the photo on the monitor which the profile photo was of when he was fat.
"You're not talking about him then who are we talking about as there is no other cadet with the name 'adam' "Michelle said as she turned the profile back to her side.
hearing it Vikram was confused and started to highlight Adam's facial and physical appearance so Michelle could find him.
as she was listening to vikram Michelle noticed a red exclamation mark on his profile.
"Vikram waited a second"Michelle voiced as she clicked on the exclamation mark.

now again hearing about Adam's family vikram felt more sure that something wrong was happening to Adam.

"let's go and see what is wrong with him" she said as she stood up from his chair and walked to the door.
seeing it vikram followed her to the sparring arena.

Michelle threw the front door open behind vikram following her.
but suddenly Michelle stopped on her tracks,
vikram who was behind her nearly collided into her.

Vikram's word stopped as he saw a scene far different from the scene he imagined.
where adam was beaten into pulp by Mac but the scene was far different from the truth.
Adam stands with head held high with little to no mark of fighting on his face with Mac head pinned down underneath his foot.
