"I need one more slot for my Shung clan in joining the Flowing River Sect as an outer disciple for the next ten[10] years," Shung Haoran requested.
"What else, Shung Haoran?" Chief Weng asked.
"And I need a descendant of my clan to cultivate with your clan's mountain painting for a day," clan head Haoran said.
"I will have to disagree, Shung Haoran. Only the descendants of my clan shall use the mountain painting of my ancestors," Chief Weng said as he looked at clan head Haoran.
"You promised Shung Yun three[3] chances to request whatever he wants from the village. Are you trying to go back on your word?" Clan head Haoran looked unhappy as he asked Chief Weng.
"It's not that I don't want to accept your request. It's that I can't accept your request," Chief Weng said, "all clan heads of my Byui clan must swear an oath to the tree goddess to guard the mountain painting with his/her life before stepping into this room. Letting someone not of my Byui clan to use the mountain painting is going contrary to my oath."
"Your ancestors are really shitty people," Clan head Haoran said angrily.
"Maybe that's why they were able to take the ruling power of the village," Chief Weng said as he smiled, "make another request, Shung Haoran."
"Then, I want Byui Junde to take care of Shung Fei and Shung Xin Yan. You can make that happen, right?" Clan head Haoran asked Chief Weng.
"I see. That was supposed to be your third request if Shung Yun had given you all his requests," Chief Weng said as he stroked his goatee, "I can get that done. But he won't forsake his cultivation just because he's taking care of them."
"I understand. As long as he shows interest in the both of them, that will be enough," Clan head Haoran said as he got up, "I'll be taking my leave now, Chief Weng."
"See you at the annual meeting, Shung Haoran," Chief Weng said as he watched as clan head Haoran left the Byui clan's Clan head resident.

"Seems like I won't be there for the execution," Shung Yun muttered as Ikunga rode him to the Byui village's library.
"I wanted to be there when that human gets executed," Ikunga said as he walked towards the Byui village's library.
"The future is more important than the present, Ikunga," Shung Yun said as he kept his sight on the tall building a few kilometers away from him, "I want peace. Strength and power are crucial in getting it. But if I can't make full use of the power I acquire, I will have it robbed from me. And I'm sure you don't want that, right?"
"My king promised a kingdom that will stretch across the entire Blood Moon Continent. I wish to be among this great kingdom and enjoy the benefits associated with it," Ikunga said turned his face to the human sitting on his left shoulder, "I don't wish to see my king fall before fulfilling his promise."
"I'm happy you believe in me, Ikunga. Let's go learn more about the world before we conquer it. You can read, right?" Shung Yun asked Ikunga.
"Yes, my king," Ikunga said as he continued forward.
"That's great. Mangro, what about you?" Shung Yun asked the snake coiled around his left hand.
"I'm not as smart as Ikunga, my king," Mangro said as he stuck his head out of Shung Yun sleeve.
"And you didn't try to learn, Mangro," Ikunga said as he got closer to the library.
"I had better things to do than learn to read a text that I won't make use of," Mangro said as he hissed at Ikunga.
"Mangro, if you could read, you would've been a great help in shortening the amount of time we spend in the library," Shung Yun said as he looked at Mangro.
"If my king desires, I can learn to read," Mangro said as his tongue flickered about.
"That will be great. Ikunga, teach Mangro how to read. That will make him learn faster," Shung Yun said to Ikunga.
"Yes, my king," Ikunga said as he arrived at huge door of the library.
"Let's go in," Shung Yun said as Ikunga pushed the door open while bending down to step inside.
"Th..that's the beast everyone has been talking about. Shung Yun's controlled beast," a middle-stage female teen stuttered as she looked at Ikunga, "why would Shung Yun bring it to the library."
"Move towards that area," Shung Yun said as he pointed at a small bookshelf with its three[3] rows filled with books, scroll, and maps.
Arriving in front of the bookshelf, Ikunga picked up a book before opening it.
"I..is it reading?" the villagers in the first floor of the library felt surprised at the action of Ikunga.
"Don't make yourself known, Mangro," Shung Yun said to the black-colored twenty[20] inches snake before dropping it on Ikunga's left shoulder.
"I won't, my king," Mangro said as he slithered between Ikunga's furs before arriving at his left arms.
Leaping down from Ikunga's shoulder, Shung Yun picked up a map before browsing through it.
"There's no different from the one the previous Shung Yun saw," he thought as he saw the map of Blood Moon Continent, "four[4] regions, nineteen[19] provinces, one hundred and seventy three[173] cities, one thousand seven hundred and thirty eight[1738] towns, and thirteen thousand nine hundred and two[13,902] villages."
Returning the map, he picked up another one before he began browsing through it.
"It's the same thing. The village is under the jurisdiction of Yuhan Town, which is under the jurisdiction of Chufan City, which is under the jurisdiction of Haikan Province, so on and so forth," Shung Yun sighed as he folded the map, "I need something previous Shung Yun didn't know."
While Shung Yun, Ikunga and Mangro were going through the various maps, scrolls and books in the shelf, the time for the execution of Nue Su finally arrived.
"Elder Su, do you have any last words before your punishment is carried out?" commander Nai asked as he held a red saber in his right hand.
"I didn't carry out the forbidden ritual. I'm being framed here. I know all the evidence points at me, but I'm innocent," tears dripped down Nue Su's eyes as he bent his head, "no matter what you all say, I know I'm innocent."
"Hold his hands," commander Nai said to commander Jian and commander Tian behind Nue Su.
Heeding to what commander Nai said, both commanders took hold of Nue Su's hands.
"Elder Gauyi! Find out who did it! Find out who framed me!" Nue Su shouted as he looked at Elder Gauyi in front of the spectating soldiers.
Sllch!!
"Ahhh!!" Nue Su screamed out as blood spurted out of his severed left hand.
Sllch!!
"Ahhhh!!" screaming louder than he did the first time, he threw up blood from his mouth as he fell face flat on the raised platform.
Taking hold of Nue Su's shoulders, commander Jian and commander Tian raised him up before keeping him in a kneeing position.
Sllch!!
"Ahhhhh!!" blood spurted out from Nue Su's severed left knee as he screamed in pain and agony.
Sllch!!
"Ahhh!!uah!" Nue Su's scream got cut off as blood surged out of his mouth.
Sllch!!
Thud!!
Silence washed through the ceremonial field as Nue's Su severed head bounced a couple of times before rolling down from the raised platform.
"Go in peace, Elder Su," commander Nai said as blood dripped down the tip of his saber.
"The execution of Elder Su has been carried out. You are all free to leave," commander Tian announced as commander Nai stepped down from the raised platform with the other three[3] commanders.
"A powerful Elder just got dismembered and killed in the twinkle of an eye. How powerful do one need to be absolutely free?" Shung Kai thought as he looked at the bleeding severed neck of Nue Su, "can anyone be absolutely free?"
"Shung Kai, let's the three[3] of us go get a drink," Shung Bulin said as he walked towards Shung Kai with Shung Xu beside him.
