"Let's work together then," Alec said the next morning during breakfast, giving Lauren his answer regarding the talk they had in the dungeon.
"Since you are still keeping the man alive, it means you don't have answers yet. Have you found out what kind he belonged to before he turned into a savage?" Lauren asked. She had a feeling about it but she could not just rely on instinct. It was the help of an expert they should seek.
"Dr. Bentley who is working for the council has been running some tests for a week now, but he has yet to come up with something solid to prove what kind the man belonged before turning into a monster. He is an expert but with this new creature's different body compounds, it is hard for him to come up with a concrete finding within a short time."
"If the council doctor knows about this, I must have been wrong to think you are working alone on this case. Who else in the council knows?"
