"Just tell him to come here. Why are you going all the way in just to get to your boyfriend?" Her hands folded on her chest, looking straight at Anna's face who was sighing harshly.
"What's so hard about it, Vio?! You just have to walk a little more. What are you doing here anyway? At least you can just stay quiet, stupid goat, you better come with me, because usually my boyfriend's bring their guy friends. Soon I can introduce you to him too, let's not stay single." Rows of sentences that just become a boring fairy tale for Violin. Covering her ears while pretending to yawn big, which ends up getting a hard pinch on her cheek.
"Ish, what the heck?! Just stay there, I'm not interested in your offer. Besides, your circle of guys is toxic and not all of it is true, the point is you won't be able to be on the same frequency as me."
Maybe Violin has never experienced being in a relationship with a man, but that doesn't stop her from expressing a comment or an opinion that has been lodged in her head for a long time. However, seeing Leo for the first time, making the opinions and ideas she makes in such a way about a man suddenly become a separate boomerang for her.
"Eh, can your mind be cleaned up a little or not? You always think negatively, you haven't felt the thing called dating, so you don't have to pretend to give sentences that don't make sense. In this case, you're the real toxic one."
Suddenly her mouth closed tightly, she couldn't comment any further about another man. Moreover, the cold man she just met in a day, made her feel attracted and it was difficult to let go of that figure in her memory.
Finding Violin's presence, who suddenly remained motionless, seemed to be focused on her raging thoughts, made Anna pull her away quickly, even though the girl was struggling in her grip.
"You don't have to go all the way there! Anna! You're so annoying!"
Just as she flung Anna's hand from her arm, her elbow accidentally bumped into something behind her. Making her body suddenly stiffen, swallowing her saliva firmly while cursing harshly in her heart.
"You just kick people in the stomach, girl." She covered her mouth to hold back a laugh that was about to burst into air. Luckily several pairs of eyes that had witnessed them had returned to walking, ignoring the three humans who just kept quiet.
Not immediately turning around quickly, Violin took the time to mutter harshly before turning her body slowly. Closing her eyelids, she felt a familiar scent on her senses.
"I'm going, okay, you finish your business with him, bye." Again Violin clenched her hands that were drowning in the oversized sweater she was wearing. After Anna whispered a sentence that irritated her unbelievably, she opened her eyelids, found the presence of a tall man who seemed to be wearing a hoodie that matched the color of the night sky. Her head slowly tilted up, making her eyelids round perfectly. If depicted in a comic, there might be an image of a violin with its eyes almost popping out.
"Leo? What are you doing here? I mean—Fine! The point is I'm sorry, I really didn't do it on purpose." Forming a V on his fingers with dipping eyebrows, of course she hoped very much that the man would forgive her.
Not giving an answer or a short cough, the man just stepped back with his long legs. Ignoring Violin who showed an unexpected reaction.
Feeling unfinished, Violin took a step and caught up with Leo. Walk beside the young man with footsteps that she tries to match her footsteps.
"Hey, you haven't answered yet. I apologized earlier." Those words flew into the air with her gaze looking up at Leo. The man seemed to lower the hood of his hoodie while tidying his hair, ignoring Violin's presence who seemed to be staring at him with unblinking eyes.
"You will forgive me, right?"
The man did not turn around, only a sad smile that he displayed without the knowledge of the girl beside him.
"Sorry? Do people still want the word sorry nowadays? It doesn't exist, even if you give it as word to make bridge, saying sorry won't be able to make everything good."
One of Violin's eyebrows raised, of course she didn't understand where Leo's conversation was going at this time. Was this man making fun of herself? But, Violin doesn't think she's acting criminally, just a little elbow that she accidentally did. Why was that man exaggerating? However, a faint smile appeared on Violin's lips, for the first time the man spoke a little longer than usual.
His footsteps were getting wider, making it difficult for Violin to keep up with the man's steps, until finally Leo stopped his steps while landing his buttocks on a long chair that was at the edge of the crowd. Making Violin think further, assuming that the man understands her who is tired and gives her instructions to rest even though she doesn't say it directly.
Reviewing the smile that drew a crescent moon on her lips with the two blushes on the corners of her cheeks, she walked with her eyes slightly closed because of embarrassment, thinking that she and that man would end up romantic like in a movie or series that she often watches.
However, even though the universe and the night seemed to disapprove of her thoughts, she fell because her feet accidentally supported the small foundation near the chair. Making her head slightly hit the metal chair that Leo was in, deliberately lingering a little in her position, assuming that maybe Leo would help her which would end up being a romantic scene for the first time in her life. However, about a few minutes she had spent, making her legs and arms feel cramped because they were still in the same position, making her have to endure the shame of what she yearned for. Little by little, she started to get up, rubbed her palms which turned out to be abrasions and bleeding even if only a little. Feeling around her head, she breathed a sigh of relief when she found nothing there, and the pain in her forehead slowly disappeared.
Silence fell on both of them, where Leo was busy chewing his favorite gum and Violin was busy stringing a few sentences in her head.
"So, you forgive me, right?"
"Hmm."
Violin breathed a sigh of relief, but cursed a little softly because she felt that the topic of conversation would end soon. However, relying on her brain which is fast enough to think, Violin again issued a few sentences to invite conversation between them.
"By the way, you can come here because you live around here, right?" Silence, only the sound of several vehicles became the theme sound for their atmosphere.
"You come here-"
Her words had to be cut off when Leo suddenly threw a small plaster from his pocket next to the Violin. He slowly got up and put his hood back on.
"Hey, where are you going? And what does this mean?" Lifting the plain patterned plaster with one raised eyebrow.
"Put it on and you'd better go home. You won't get anything here." Only a few lines of sentences left his lips, bringing his tall body away from there. Leaving Violin alone with a view that never left his back.
