Once we pulled up in their huge ass mansion I jumped of and walked inside as Alexander closed the garage door still processing that he had asked me out

"Alexander took me to the beachfront to clear out my mind " he nodded setting his cup down as he stood up and walked slowly towards me each step made me more excited to the core
" And ?..." I turned to look at the door wondering if Alexander could walk in at any moment Mr Barker turned to see where my eyes were set as he let out a soft laugh
" If I know my son correctly he takes half an hour once his car is parked assessing nothing is scratched up" I turned to see how close he had gotten

" I'm ordering dinner what do you want ?" Mr Barker chuckled
" No need Briana is already making dinner in the kitchen " my heart went cold as I eyed how near the kitchen was to the living room and it can't be that she had not seen her father eating out of her best friend
My heart stopped as I looked at him but he didn't meet my eye
" Charlie are you okay you look pale as a ghost ?" Alexander asked looking at me with concern
" No no I'm ... I'm good " he then led me to the kitchen and I didn't turn to spare a glance at Mr Barker who happens to be a snake

" The fricken flour was open and fell ontop of me while I tried making a nice meal for us " i giggled as she eyed me suspeciulsy

" Look I uh walked in and was zoned out when I saw you father move and i got scared but as I screamed I realised it was Mr Barker " she nodded as Alexander took out a water from the fridge

" Charlie you want chocolate ice cream ? " Alexander asked pulling out a tub of ice cream I nodded as he brought two spoons over
He sat down next to me as he started eating I followed after
" Awww you guys are in love !" Briana yelled I shook my head at her as I heard footsteps I turned to see Mr Barker standing at the entrance his jaw tensed
" Alexander there are two tubs of icecream I recall last time I had checked the fridge "
" Dad were sharing it's not a problem "
Mr Barker turned to me " is it a problem Charlie ?" I shook my head indicating no he nodded as he walked away saying nothing before leaving
" We're expecting an important guest today dress well for dinner"
At dinner which I totally used my dress I had worn to the hospital to I sat beside Alexander as Briana sat opposite us and Mr Barker to my right saving a seat next to him for the 'guest'
" So I took the time to order one of the chef's to make something nice for us " Alexander whispered in my ear I smiled as I turned and whispered in his ear
" Trust me I appreciate that considering how awful your sister cooks " he chuckled as he shook his head I turned and cast a quick glance at Mr Barker to see him staring at me his jaw tensed
I turned to look back at Alexander who by the way had his hand on my fricken thigh !!!
I smiled as he squeezed my thigh in his palm
" Wait ew are you two a couple ?" Briana asked bringing her head back up the table wait did she see his hand on my thigh

" BRIANA BARKER SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" Mr Barker yelled turning his gaze to me and Alexander
" This is a dinner you two want to fancy around leave " i kept my head low at his outburst but I felt Alexander tense at his behaviour
" Fine father we haven't done anything but if you insist " he woke up from next to me and sat next to Bri she frowned as she stared at me

The door bell rang as Mr Barker got up and walked to see who it was
I heard a high pitched womens voice

He sat down as he smiled casting me a quick glance before looking back at his children who looked confused as hell
