So remember the feeling that something bad was going to happen?
I'm the prince of a country. In hindsight I probably should have figured it out from father's status. Either way this is not a welcome development. How can I continue to grow if I'm stuck managing a country.
Anyway ten years have passed since then and I've been given five younger siblings already. My parents breed like rabbits. Naturally the two youngest who are twins get all the attention.
However I look completely unique to everyone else in my family. While they are all blonde or brown haired mine is pure white. And while their eyes seem to be either blue or brown, mine are heterochromatic with the left eye being purple, likely due to my connection to Zagreus, and my right eye is blood red.
Unfortunately as the oldest child I'm the heir to the throne.
It's been hard trying to act like a child all this time. Though my role as a prince has not been without benefits. I've been able to read all I want from the library which I used to increase my intelligence stat.
Though I've never had the chance to kill any monsters so I'm still at level 1. My stats however are all nearing 1000 with the exception of luck which seems to be determined at birth.
During my studies I've learned that skills can come in three different classes: normal, passive, and active. Skills also have their own levels which are dependent on how much you train them with the exception being normal class skills which are non-combat related skills such as appraisal. Passive skills are passive skills which increase things such as weapon skill, while active skills are attack based skills.
I've had time to consolidate my knowledge of this world and it seems the really high tiers have a stat average of 250. As such I've had to hide my status and strength incredibly well. Guess my father really is a big shot considering his physical stats are all surpassing 300.
I've already had to use my life manipulation several times since coming to this world. It seems my little sister Alice has very bad luck. She's already almost died several times. If I hadn't been there, she would have died. To summarize some of the things that happened: she fell out of a tree and broke her neck, she got decapitated by a horse and she had a knife fall point first into her eye.
So far, my life has been relatively easy. I've been taught by the knights how to use more or less every weapon out there and I even taught myself how to use magic. However my magic isn't like the mages, while they have to chant for predetermined spells with predetermined effects, it seems as if mine is more like a manifestation of my imagination. This type of magic has been labelled as Ancient Magic in my status.
My magic has allowed the creation of skills with the only limit on what I can create being my magic level and my imagination.
Currently my status is as follows.
[Name: Amon Britannia
Race: Human?
Level: 1
Strength: 990
Speed: 950
Magic: 900
Dexterity: 975
Intelligence: 900
Luck: 250
Skills: God's appraisal, God's status concealment, Ancient Magic (X), Skill creation, Weapon master (X), Evil eye(V), teleportation (IX) future sight (VIII) Extreme Will (II) Item Box
Title's: The First Other Worlder, Other Worlder, Champion of Life and Death]
[Evil eye: Allows the manipulation of others, can inflict status effects such as paralysis and poison.
Extreme Will: allows the user to manifest their willpower to strengthen their body or attack a weaker opponents mind.
Item Box: allows the user to store an infinite number of items in an empty space]
I find the other skills I learned pretty self-explanatory, so I see no need to check their functions.
In another five years I'll be sent away to the Britannia magic academy. I see no point in going, there's nothing they can really teach me.
Anyway I was about to sneak out of the Castle to go to the nearby forest. I heard it's full of powerful monsters so I can begin the process of levelling up.
"Hey, Old man, you got what I asked for?"
I stopped at the royal blacksmith on my way to pick up weapons and armour.
"Ah yes, Your Highness, a scythe made of dragon bones and a cloak made of dragon scales."
I look at the pitch black scythe and black cloak.
They don't look very fancy, but their power is unreal.
I enchant both to be indestructible before applying their own unique enchantments.
The cloak has absolute resistance to all physical and magical attacks, on top of that it constantly heals the wearer.
The scythe I made to reap the souls of its victims and constantly sharpen based on how many beings it has killed. The improvement is directly proportional to the strength of the victim.
"Thanks, Remember, tell no one."
"Yes, your highness."
With that I set out to the forest to increase my level and gain combat experience.
