Valeria's POV 🎉
I woke up to a bright morning with the sun rays piercing through the curtains in my room and could hear the sound of birds chirping from outside. I got out from my bed to drag the curtains aside and open the windows to breathe in the good morning rosy fresh air and smiled. "Yeah don't get me wrong but I do this every morning to relax my lungs".
I checked the time on my wall clock and "Crap" O my God I'm late for work" . I hurriedly rushed to my bathroom to paste and get done with my unfinished business there."Ya know what I mean".. After taking a warm shower, Brenda chose a nice outfit from my closet and placed it neatly on my bed for me. " O yes I do have maids in this house cause my parents hired them to perform all our household chores in which I don't mind". I hurriedly got dressed into the oufit Brenda prepared for me which was a white t-shirt and blue pencil skirt which made my curves prominent. Brenda always knew my choice when it comes to my work clothes.
I was doing my makeup when I heard a knock on the door. "Sweetie it's me!..." my mum said. I looked at the time on my Rolex watch and sighed,"I don't have enough time". "Come in!" ,I said while applying my lipstick and turned towards the door from where I was standing by the mirror.
"Mom I know you are aware that I'm late", I said.
"It's a good morning to you too dear",Mum said. "I came here to tell you only good news". " First of all , the party planners will be here in the afternoon so they can help you choose the perfect designs and colours for your birthday next week",she spilled out.
"O my God , really?! aaaahh!..... I'm excited already, I said happily. "Thank you Mom", I said and run into her arms to embrace her.
"Aw,Anything for you my baby",she said. " Well I gotta go get ready" , I said.
"O yes your breakfast is waiting downstairs and also your dad will be waiting for you, he wants to discuss something important to you so shoo! shoo!",she said trying to drag me out of my room. "
"Mom wait! Do you have any idea what it is?" I asked.
"C'mon we'll discuss this downstairs, she said this not looking into my eyes.
"I'm just curious you know" . I wore my heels and followed her outside.
"I wonder what 's so important dad wants to discuss with me that mom can't spill it to me already? I running late , Hmph!..". I enter into the kitchen with Mom to see Dad already on his seat waiting for us.
"Here goes nothing".
