Chapter 2
"I didn't know when I slept off on the floor, my sleep was disrupted last night so I decided to give nature an appreciation But don't worry Mum I would be fine" she replied as she grinned, her usual pearly white teeth.
"Okay my dear, go and pray and prepare yourself before coming downstairs for breakfast". Her mum said wearing a big smile on her face.
Yes mum she replied, and her mum went downstairs.

Ember is an 18-year-old tall beautiful Naturalist teenager, she has pearly white teeth that are always hidden behind the mop of dirty blonde hair that fell over her face and a heart of gold, she lives in California with her parents and she hates to see people in stressful situations and is also a friend to all. she is pursuing her dreams of becoming a medical doctor though her dream of becoming a medical doctor started after the death of her dearest friend Alima.
"Ember! Ember!! Ember!!!" Her mum called Staring at her mirror to check her face for blemishes.
"Yes Mum" she replied as she quickly jumped out of her bed to go meet her mum in the room.
"Mum you look so excited today, what's the secret about" she questioned in excitement"
"Guess Ember," her mum said as she stare at Ember standing beside her, through the mirror
"Mum you know I'm not good at guessing just tell me already" she pleaded in curiosity.
"Okay, Your dad will be coming home today, he will be arriving by evening time.
Ember's dad is a very busy man, he's an electrical engineer that is very good at what he does so he was always being given contracts by different companies all over the world.
Ember told her mum she was happy that her dad will be coming back home after being away for a business trip six months ago but wasn't happy about the fact that she spoke with him a day before and he didn't mention it to her, her mum try cheering her up by convincing her that she is quite sure he wanted to surprise her that why he didn't tell her he was coming.
She has already made a plan that anytime her dad is coming she would be the one to cook. Her culinary skills are a hundred per cent even though she is lazy when it comes to cooking, As the only child of her parent she was loved by them, especially her dad, her mum does call her daddy's girl.
"let me prepare and go do some food shopping," Ember said as she Grinned her teeth in excitement"
"Okay my dear, see you later maybe after you have finished Making the food when you come back from the store" her mum replied while giving her a wink.
After she finished making her dad's favourite dishes and setting the dining table she went upstairs to take a shower to look refreshed and came downstairs as she and her mum waited in excitement for their dad and husband to return respectively.
Shortly after, her dad arrived home thinking that Ember will be surprised to see him but unfortunately for him Ember's mom spoilt the surprise though she didn't know he wanted to surprise her.
So they welcomed him as usual and they all had dinner together, after dinner, she told her dad how she missed him.
"I would be taking you out tomorrow, but I won't tell you where because I want to surprise you," his dad said and smiled.
"Okay dad," she said happily as she opened her eyes wide open In excitement.
He watched as his daughter grinned, her usual pearly white teeth that were hidden behind the mop of dirty blonde hair that fell over her face.

"Good morning!" She squealed with joy, hugging her dad from behind who shook slightly from shock. He hadn't seen her walk in.
"Good morning my sunshine, you startled me, I know you are excited about us going out today," he said and took a sip from his coffee.
"Sure Dad I am more than excited, what time are we going," she asked.
Her dad told her they would go out by 8:30 pm and they went as planned, he took her to Bioluminescent Waves of San Diego somewhere in California, it's a kind of bioluminescent algae present in the waters, but when the algae find a food source and multiply in large amounts, a bluish glow can be seen in the waters at night. Depending on when and where you go, you might even see some people glow-in-the-dark surfing, he took her there because he knows that his daughter is a nature-loving person.
She was fascinated, she hasn't seen something as attractive as that before that made her lost for a while as she was wowed by the discovery, she hugged her dad and also thanked him for taking her there when it was time to go home she wished she could stay a little longer, "what do you expect when you brought a nature lover to a place like this" he thought to himself as he nodded his head in affirmation of his daughter's request.
They were tired of standing and decided to seat on the floor close to the water, Her dad told her how much she means to her and can do anything just to make her happy, she told him too that he is the best daddy in the whole wide world and she will also choose him in her next life, They both got emotional.
When they were both exhausted they decided to go home, they got home very late.
"Welcome my during" Ember's mum greeted her husband as he gave a peck on his chick.
"You guy took so long there if not I knew where your dad was taking you to I would have been worried, I'm sure you caused the delay Ember because you always wish can stay forever in places like that"
She and ember exchanged pleasantries, she told them to go have their bath and come downstairs for a very light dinner.
