Ember and sofia took off time to work out, that's a kind of sofia hobby as she is the one that initiated Ember to join her workout before going for the early morning lectures.
They started going to lectures together, and as time goes on their friendship started getting stronger and they can't stay for long without hanging out with each other.
Amber is having a hard time with the biochemistry course she asked Sofia if she could help her out with it, and sofia suggested she ask Alex to help her out since he is good at it than her.
As Amber went to a class that day she asked Alex to help her out with biochemistry as she is having a hard time with the subject.
He told Ember to give him a call anything she is free for the season.
There are to start the human Anatomy practical on dissection that day She Told Alex that she is so scared about the class and that she doesn't feel she's ready for the class as she is scared of dead bodies.
"Don't worry, you are going to get used to it as time goes on, I will be right by your side during the practical?" He said to her as he tried to hold her hands.
"Okay, thanks Alex for being here for me," she said still being down in the dump because she was still thinking of how the dissection class is going to turn out.
"Don't mention. what are friends for" he said smiling at Ember?
Friends indeed, I want to be more than a friend Alex, can you see it? Ember thought to herself.
"Sure, friends are supposed to be there for each other," she said to him as she concealed what she felt on the inside.
As it was time for the dissection class they went put on the n their lab coats and took all other necessary precautions before entering the lab.
As they were about to enter the lab Alex holds her hands to make her feel better, lucky enough they were placed in the same group, but they didn't dissect that day because the purpose of that first day of the class was for them to be able to face their fear.
As soon as she sighted the corpse she felt like fainting, she stayed there because she had no choice.
What was I expecting, after all, I sigh up for this and I have to face my fear she thought to herself as a chill ran down her spine.
The tutor told the class that they could touch it if they want to and try to Appreciate it.
"Appreciate! This is not the kind of thing I would love to appreciate" she muttered slightly as her mouth is being concealed by a nose mask.
And I know some of you would not appreciate it now, but when we start to dissect I bet you all would.
After the dissection class, she thanked Alex again for being there for her.
"Don't worry, you won't be this scared in the next class". He said waggling his eyebrow.
The night of the day they went for dissection she couldn't sleep so she called her friend sofia if she would allow her to come to her room for a sleepover.
"Sure you can come to my Room" sofia retorted as she was going through something on her laptop.
"Okay thanks, I would be on my way then," she said as she try packing the thing she needed for the sleepover.
As Ember got to the door of Ember's room she opened her room door for her and started making fun of her.
"Are insinuating that you were not scared?" Ember asked in curiosity.
" Not at all, I was frightened but not to the extent that I can't sleep alone in my Room," she said and bursts into laughter.
" Stop, it's not funny," Ember said in an utterly deadpan Burst. Laughter.
"It's time to sleep so that we can wake up on time tomorrow," Ember said and they decided to sleep.
It was almost morning when Ember awoke, and, looking up she was staring at the ceiling. I wanted to sleep a little longer but this cold has awoken me she thought.
She arose and went to the kitchen to get herself a coffee and shortly have to take a few sips from her coffee, her mum called her it was the sound of Ringing from the phone that woke sofia from her sleep.
She and her mum exchanged greetings, her mum told her how life has become boring where each day was like all others ever since she left for school and that her dad is not always around so she decided to start a business that will keep her busy, Ember told her it was a good idea, and that she misses her every day. After the call ended she apologised to Sofia as it was her phone ringing that woke her from her sleep, Sofia just laughed it out and told her she would accept the apology only if she allow her to speak to her mum when next she calls.
"That not a problem," Ember said to her with a smile.
"It's like you woke up very early today hope it was not thought of Alex that disrupted your sleep," sofia said and winked at her.
"It's the cold that awoken me from my slumber!" Ember replied and laughed.
