Chereads / I Hate You, Mr. Regan / Chapter 6 - Faint

Chapter 6 - Faint

When the employees heard the sound, they immediately froze on the spot and seemed to turn into statues.

Aletha, who was still unconscious at her desk, was immediately picked up by Regan and immediately taken to a large hospital not far from the office.

Adele and Sandra fearfully chose to follow him. For some reason they both always feel anxious when Aletha is with Regan.

"Gray, hurry up!" Regan cried out in panic as soon as he managed to get Aletha to his car.

The two girls were left behind because Regan's pace was too fast.

"You'd better get back to work if you don't want Mr. Regan to be executed as soon as he comes back," Rio reminded the two of them.

They shook their heads quickly and chose to return to their desks even though her mind was filled with worries about Aletha.

"But I don't think I can focus."

"Why are you so worried? I heard that Mr. Regan will soon marry Aletha."

"How do you know?" Adele asked in surprise.

"I overheard Mr. Regan talking to his assistant."

In the hospital.

Aletha was still unconscious even though the doctor had finished examining her, it made Regan very worried.

Even though he always annoyed Aletha and was cold to her. Regan feels that there is nothing wrong with establishing a real relationship with Aletha, especially since his parents are very demanding of Regan to have children immediately after marrying Aletha, even though he knows that everything will not be easy considering that Aletha has hated him since yesterday's incident.

To that end, Regan patiently sat beside Aletha's bed and asked Grayson to postpone the meeting.

Regan's loud voice as she spoke to Grayson finally woke Aletha.

She blinked her eyes and looked around, she immediately knew she was in the hospital.

"Where are Adele and Sandra? Was Regan the only one who brought me here?" Aletha thought. Regan, who was busy explaining the details of his work today to Grayson, didn't realize that Aletha was already awake, on the contrary it was Gray who realized it and he shouted happily, "Mr Regan, Miss Aletha is awake."

Regan stopped his conversation and his gaze turned to Aletha. Although in his heart he was very happy, but in reality there was not even the slightest smile on Regan's face.

"You troubled me a lot today." Regan said coldly.

Aletha snorted in annoyance and didn't want to say anything, it was useless.

Annoyed at not getting any response from Aletha, Regan turned to leave and shouted at Gray "I'm going back to the office right now!"

"Then what about Miss Aletha?"

"Take care of her!"

Grayson secretly smiled happily knowing his young master was starting to fall in love with Aletha, so he nodded obediently.

As soon as Regan left, Aletha asked Grayson in annoyance "Doesn't your master eat rice like us Gray?"

"You mean Miss?"

"He's not human, so heartless."

Grayson chuckled and changed another topic.

"Do you want to eat something, Miss?"

"Yeah Gray, I forgot to eat breakfast this morning and I didn't sleep last night either."

"No wonder Miss fainted. I will be right back."

Aletha just nodded and didn't say anything else, the nurse came back to check as soon as Grayson left.

Shortly after, Grayson returned with several bags of food in both hands.

"Oh my, why so many?"

Grayson just smiled shyly and helped Aletha take out the food from the bag. Of course all the food was Regan's orders.

"How are you now?" asked Grayson as soon as Aletha finished eating.

"It's better, can I go back now?"

"Back to office?"

"You think Gray?" Aletha was so annoyed that she rolled her eyes at him.

"But..."

"Today there is an important meeting, I don't think it will be late if I go back now." Aletha interrupted while glancing at her watch.

"Miss, but the meeting was put forward, so it looks like it's over." Grayson reasoned.

"Since when did Mr. Regan become inconsistent? Or did he do it on purpose?"

"On purpose," Grayson thought, but he didn't dare expose it openly in front of Aletha.

"Then I want to go home, but is Mr. Regan allowed? Please ask Gray, I'm too lazy to talk to him."

Because Aletha was Regan's future wife, Grayson nodded obediently and immediately did whatever Aletha ordered.

"Will Mr. Regan let me go home?" Aletha asked desperately, afraid that Regan would be so cruel and sent her back to the office.

Grayson nodded before saying, "Let me take home, Miss!"

Aletha was very happy and immediately got out of bed.

Arriving at her house, Sarah looked at her daughter in surprise because she knew it was still office hours and Aletha never came home this early for any reason, let alone being escorted by Grayson.

"What's the matter..."

Before Sarah could finish her question, Grayson interrupted first.

"Sorry ma'am, Mr. Regan sent home because Miss Aletha wasn't feeling well."

A bright smile instantly appeared on Sarah's youthful face, "Regan really cares about his future wife Gray, then thank you. You be careful on the road."

Aletha rolled her eyes at her mommy before going upstairs to her room.

As soon as Grayson left, Sarah immediately followed Aletha into the room.

"Right? Regan isn't as bad as you think."

"Hmm, yes Mom. I want to rest now."

"Yes dear."

Sarah then left Aletha's room, at that moment Aletha just remembered that her cellphone was still in the office. So she walked quickly out of the room looking for her mommy.

"Mom, can I borrow your cellphone? I forgot that I left my cellphone at the office."

Sarah smiled sweetly and said, "Mommy should just call Regan to take it here."

Aletha scowled in annoyance "He can't possibly want Mom, he's very busy."

"Let's see later!" said Sarah teasing Aletha.

Aletha ignored her mommy and went back to the room to rest. In the afternoon, there was a knock on Aletha's door with a hand that sounded foreign, but very disturbing.

"Just a minute Mom!" shouted Aletha

As soon as the door opened, Aletha was so shocked that she wanted to close the door again, but how dare she? while the person he hated so much stood at his door expressionless.

"Mr Regan shouldn't have bothered bringing it here."

"And you should be thanking me."

Only one sentence came out of Regan's mouth, but made Aletha's heart even more irritated, as a result she reached out her hand to close the door to her room again, but Regan quickly stopped her.

He leaned so that their faces were very close, Aletha suddenly trembled with fear.

"Mr. Regan, what are you doing?"
