"Well why don't you start explaining yourself, Keir?"
The headmaster looked at me with his domineering eyes and expression. The atmosphere was tense and unstable.
Both Lilith and the headmaster could take me down without even breaking a sweat.
"Okay okay, I can use RC. I do have an explanation though!"
The room instantly calmed down and the pressure was lifted off of my shoulders.
"Good, that's all we needed Keir. Your confirmation haha. Don't mind the pressure from earlier I was testing you."
"Testing me for what?"
"Testing your mind, you did well."
The headmaster leaned back into his chair and proceeded to show me more videos.
They were videos from today.
"I hope you don't mind but we've been monitoring your activity ever since the incident with Berith."
My face turned to shock but soon calmed down as I thought about it more. It made sense for them to put security on me after that "incident."
"So you've seen it all?"
I asked.
"Yes I know your true capability now Keir, if you can now use RC we could technically consider you a Scion level student."
"What?!"
The face of shock returned and I looked at Kalem and Lilith back and forth.
"Are you serious right now?"
"Yes Keir, I'm serious about this. Your combat level matches that of a Scion and from what we've seen you do today your RC control looks proficient."
"Oh, that's awesome…"
'But that wasn't me, I wasn't in control.'
Last I checked my RC level was still E rank. Scions usually have S rank RC levels when they're born which was leagues higher than my level.
People in most cases were born with a set amount of RC in their bodies that couldn't be changed.
Ranked from F to S with S being the strongest. People wouldn't be able to increase their RC but they could always train their other skills and become a potent fighter.
"So what now?"
I asked the headmaster. He looked deep in thought and stroked his beard.
"Hmmmm- since I myself consider you Scion level, and you've met our vice president of the student council Lilith here. I think I'll add you to the student council."
"Huh?"
"Huh?"
Lilith and I consecutively voiced our confusion at the same time.
"Pardon me sir but we'll be adding Keir to the student council?"
"Yes, you heard correct Lilith."
"I see."
Lilith put her fingers up to her chin and thought to herself for a bit.
"You're now a member of the student council Keir. I hope you'll help us better the school as a whole."
"Wait wait wait what? Why am I being put on the student council?"
I voiced my confusion and frantically tried to figure out the situation.
"Because you'll be a great asset Keir, you can be inspirational to all the other students of Aethra."
"How can I be an inspiration?! I'm the lowest of the low."
"We've seen your ability. You have immense potential. Trust me."
The headmaster was firm and solid with this decision and wouldn't change his mind.
'So stubborn.'
"Fine."
I said in defeat.
"Good. You'll be a member starting tomorrow morning. Lilith will you please help him out?"
The headmaster said while turning his head to Lilith.
Seeing this, Lilith sat up straight and nodded her head.
"Of course, headmaster."
"You two head back to your dorms."
Lilith and I nodded in sync and got up from our seats soon after we heard his directions.
"Ah! Keir I have something for you."
"Yes headmaster?"
Kalem reached down under his desk and pulled out a card.
"Here, your new room."
"New room?"
I took the card out of his hand and looked it him with my eyebrows raised.
"Yes, we'll be having you move into the building student council members live in. Your friend Kiran will be there as well."
Guess I won't have to deal with the kids in my dormitory anymore.
Thank god.
"Thank you sir."
"No problem, now head off you two. Lilith help him get to the room."
Lilith nodded once more.
"Of course sir."

12:30 AM | Hera Building, Aethra.
"Welcome to the Hera building Keir."
Lilith and I had just arrived at the new dorm. It wasn't too far away from the campus center and offices and it was clearly more high class than the other dormitories.
"This is amazing…"
I was in awe of my surroundings. The building had a sense of antiquity and yet it also had a sense of technological superiority to the other dorms.
Guess that's what I should expect from the dorm holding the most powerful students.
"The inside is even better Keir, let's go."
"Oh really? Alright let's go."
My eyes were bright and a smile formed on my face. Lilith and I made our way into the building which was brightly lit and serene to walk through.
Her dark hair followed her movements and her eyes were enchanting. We walked up a flight of stairs and made our way to the second floor.
On the second floor was a large open balcony which let the cool breeze enter the building.
The trees outside would sway in the wind under the cold night and bright moon.
I stepped up to the balcony and Lilith went up with me. Both of us looked at the sky and the stars above.
We could make out a few stars but there weren't many due to the light pollution from Haneul.
"It's beautiful isn't it?"
Lilith said with her soft voice.
I took a glance at her and saw her eyes glimmer with the moonlight. Her few words and graceful tone made for a mysterious yet compelling front.
"Yeah, looking up at the moon calms me down."
"Then I guess you're just like Fukuyo in that sense."
A small smile formed on her lips.
Both of us retreated from the balcony and walked down the hall a bit further. We walked until we approached a door with my name on it.
"This is your room. You're in the same hall as me with the other student council members."
Lilith presented the door to me and gestured me to open it with the card received from Kalem.
Whoo-
The door had a wooden texture and color that matched the rest of the building but the door slid open like the classroom doors.
'Antiquity and technology huh?'
Lilith and I walked into the entrance of the room and my mouth hanged open. The room was at least 5 times the size of my original one. I think it was bigger than the apartment Kiran got me.
"Well, I'll let you get some rest Keir. If you need anything I'm directly across the hall, Kiran is in the room to your right and Jenna to the left."
"Sounds good, thanks Lilith."
"Goodnight Keir."
"Goodnight."
Lilith made her way to the room across the hall.
I was left to analyze the room I'd been given. This "room" was larger than an average apartment in Haneul, the bed looked to be a king size and it was situated in the back of the room.
There was an entire living area with seating and entertainment. This room even had a small kitchen to the left side of the entrance and the bathroom was situated a bit further down.
The room itself had very minimalistic decor and designs. The bed was low to the floor and the amenities were sleek and elegant.
"This is amazing. Am I dreaming?"
I asked myself.
"You're funny hehe."
My smile instantly sank and I felt shivers down my spine.
'Who's talking?'
"I am."
I frantically looked around the room but saw nobody. There was not even anything that was living in here other than me.
I was alone.
'Who are you?'
"That's something I won't say."
It was a voice echoing through my head. I knew it wasn't from any external source.
The voice could read my thoughts, as if it were apart of my being. Cold sweat ran down my forehead and it got harder to breathe. I stumbled to the bathroom and climbed over to the sink.
Splash-
The water from the sink was hitting the bowl and I was scooping water out to wash my face. I was breathing heavily and as soon as I finished rinsing my face the air got cold.
I could see my own breath.
"Haaa- haaa- what the fuck is going on?"
'I don't understand.'
"Pathetic child."
My body started to stumble, I caught myself on the countertop of the sink. The world started to fade black and come back repeatedly. My eyelids felt heavy and I could barely stand.
Then I saw it.
In the mirror in front of me. A reflection, a ghost, a person.
The man with white hair.
"Who are you really?"
The man with white hair and glowing white eyes had a malicious smirk on his face. The aura he gave off in the mirror was dark and stained with death and despair.
"I'm Nishil."
