"SIR PLEASE, PLEASE I DON'T KNOW WHERE HE IS!"
The shopkeeper yelled out in a struggle.
"I'm not asking for where he is, I'm asking about what he sold."
Amon glared at the man like he was observing a bug.
"H-he sold me a necklace."
"Where is it?"
"I-I don't know sir."
The shopkeeper was trembling as he saw the beam of light inching towards his crotch. His legs were moving erratically like he was out of control.
Sssssttttt-
The sound of scorching wood could be heard within the store. The smell of it burning could be smelt echoing throughout the room.
"Why don't you know?"
Amon asked with an intimidating aura.
"A-as soon as he l-left the necklace he sold me d-d-dis-"
"Disa-what?!"
The shopkeeper started to stutter out of control. His fear for the man before him was unfathomable.
"It disappeared!"
"It disappeared?"
"Y-yes that's right."
Amon's face turned dark and his eyes grew brighter before it happened.
VWOOM-
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
The beam of light got even thinner and even more concentrated. It sped up its movement before slowly coming into contact with the shopkeeper.
"AHHHHHH P-PLEASE, I SWEAR I DON'T KNOW WHERE IT IS!"
"Amon…"
Nobu looked at the shopkeeper in horror. The shopkeeper was seizing like he was possessed and screaming so much his throat started to bleed.
Blood poured out from his mouth while he screamed in agony. His eyes were bloodshot and shaking with intensity whilst tears poured out like rainfall.
Amon stood up and took a step back before releasing his bloodlust. The man then froze for a moment before seizing once more, ten times more violently than before.
Blood started pouring from his ears and his screams got even louder.
"Put up a sound barrier."
Amon ordered.
Hearing his orders the other men waved their hands in the air before creating a hand sign. With this completed, they were now surrounded by a soundproof barrier.
"You swear on your life you have no idea where the fuck this necklace is?"
"I-I SWEAR SIR!"
Amon turned around and faced the doorway.
He lifted up his hands and created a hand sign above his head. His index and middle finger were the only two standing and suddenly he swiped his hand across his body.
VWOOM-
"AH-!"
The beam of light behind him sliced the man in half. It did it with immense speed so the shopkeeper barely had time to even react.
Even if he did react, he couldn't escape.
A spray of blood erupted from the severed body. The walls were covered and the two men holding the victim were soaked in red.
Amon turned his head to Nobu.
His face was struck with horror and disgust. He was about to throw up.
"Clean this up, Nobu. I have to do some digging."
Amon said as he walked out of the store ID in hand.
Every step he took was frightening. His coat swayed behind him and the barrier came undone with a snap of his fingers.
He didn't even look back to see the crime behind him.

"What are you trying to make me do?"
Nishil ordered me to go to the training area. Apparently, this building just finished making one so I went to the newer one instead of the one I was at before.
"I'm trying to make you strong, I already told you."
I couldn't currently see Nishil, but I could clearly hear him inside my head.
"How can you make me stronger?"
I asked with a doubtful face.
"Remember earlier tonight?"
"Yeah."
"I made you use Tempest Rush."
Nishil said while chuckling.
"What is Tempest Rush?"
"You'll see soon enough. I'll teach you"
I walked through the corridors of the building before exiting into a courtyard. The courtyard had your standard training dummies and such except it was much more high quality.
The moon was still out and the breeze was cool.
I made my way to one of the 6 private training rooms in order to see what Nishil was up to. I didn't know what the hell he was but I was sure he wasn't out to hurt me.
"Here we are."
I said as I entered the room.
The room was exactly like the ones before, with padded walls and ceilings. It was also surrounded by a soundproof barrier. As soon as I entered the room I was greeted with a gust of air and silence until it was broken by Nishil.
"Okay, I'll teach you how to manipulate the energy inside of you."
"Why are you teaching me this?"
I asked.
"I've told you already, I want to make you strong."
"But why do you want to make me strong?"
"..."
Nishil went silent.
"I can't answer that Keir."
"Okay then, fine go ahead and teach me."
I was slightly suspicious of his real intentions but it didn't mean anything right now. I wanted to get stronger and be respected; this seemed like the best route as of now.
"Stand up straight Keir, close your eyes and breathe slowly through your nose."
My back straightened and I followed his instructions.
"Good... now hold out your dominant hand."
In response to this, I held my right hand in front of me. Nishil continued his instructions until he was satisfied.
"Feel it in your veins, in every nerve within your body, feel it course through and tighten like strings."
"Is this it?"
"Shh! Just follow my instructions."
When I focused on my breathing I could feel it coursing through my body. A web of energy, the web of RC.
"Good, now use those strings to rip apart the air and charge it!"
I could see the strings reaching out into the air despite my vision being obscured. I saw the strings connect the very atoms surrounding me, an intricate web of reality. I held onto this feeling for a moment until I went through with it.
Crackle-
The atoms in the air split and charged. They shook more violently than the flames of hell and I could hear it as well.
The lightning.
The sound of storms.
"Good Keir, you've learned how to create heavenly lightning."
I slowly opened my eyes and what greeted me was a surrounding aura of white light. The light had crackling lightning zipping through it and my hand was enveloped in it.
"What is this...."
The lightning was at least 50 times more powerful than the one I had created before. The room shook from its intensity and the sheer pressure made the still air in the room turn into gusts of powerful wind.
"It's my technique on RC control. That's what you all call that energy nowadays right?"
"It's insane, I've never seen a technique so powerful."
My lips curled into a grin. My eyes glowed white and the world felt completely still.
'I can finally break the wall.'
I thought to myself.
If I could keep on learning this technique from Nishil then I could stand with the scions. I could finally garner the respect I'd been wanting.
"When can I learn tempest rush for myself?"
"Soon, but not tonight. You need rest."
Oh, that's right.
I've been out for the entire day. Not to mention today was full of obstacles and unexpected events.
If I got to the headmaster's office at around midnight and stayed there for about forty minutes then that would've already been the next day.
I walked to the dorm with Lilith which took five minutes and got settled in but I had been conversing and training with Nishil for over two hours.
'Student Council.'
I suddenly remembered that tomorrow I would officially be part of the small student council. It mainly consisted of the Scion students and other strong and model students.
Things that I could never be.

BEEP-
BEEP-
My alarm was going off.
"Ughhh- why so early..."
I groaned and I was barely awake. I wasn't used to having to wake up so early and the fact that I slept at 3 AM last night didn't help.
Student council members were obliged to wake up an hour early to get things sorted out with a daily meeting.
I slowly but surely crawled out of bed.
I got up to go brush my teeth and take a quick shower before putting on my uniform. As I was putting on my black gloves, I looked in the mirror and saw my face.
"Did I get more handsome?"
Maybe it was the RC or maybe it was the training, but I could clearly see it.
My face was significantly more defined and could be considered handsome by most.
My hair was still a bit too long and covered my face and there were dark circles under my eyes from last night but other than that, there weren't many flaws.
My ears were also pierced by the calypsis earring.
"Hey Nishil?"
"What?"
He said in a disgruntled tone.
"Does this piercing look okay?"
"It looks fine. Hurry up and get to your meeting."
He said while peering out at my reflection.
"Alright then. Let's see what this student council business is about."
