Detective Jones arrives at the street where Katherine White's secretary lives; he drives down the street and parks where the indicator stops on the Google Map. He alights from the vehicle and approaches the door but fortunately for him, the house owner comes out.
"Hello! Good morning. How may I help you?" An old man asks.
"Good morning sir. I am Detective Jones and I am looking for a lady named Jane."
"Oh, Jane! I know her but hope there's no problem officer?" The old man inquires.
"No, there is no problem," Jones replies.
"Okay! She doesn't live here. She lives next door." The old man directs him.
"Oh, thank you, sir." Jones reacts.
"You're welcome, officer."
He moves to the next apartment. Knock! Knock! Knock! He hits the door.
"Who is it?" A voice from inside asks.
"This is the police, open up!" Jones answers.
The door opens by the hand of a young beautiful and neat lady whose smile drives saliva down the throat of the detective, who in response, comports himself in order not to get distracted.
"Good morning officer." She says.
"Good morning ma'am. I am Detective Jones; showing her his badge. I want to ask you a few questions and if you don't mind, may I come in?"
"Yeah! Sure! You may come in." Jane reacts.
Jones enters the living room, seeing the aesthetic nature of the place; "You have a lovely apartment," he compliments with a smile.
"Thank you, I just got it all set up not quite long after I started a new job. Please sit."
"So what do you want to ask me Officer Jones or should I just call you detective Jones?" Jane asks with a smile.
"Jones is fine, thanks. "I want to ask you about Katherine White."
"Okay, what about her?" asks Jane with a focused look.
"What's your relationship with her?" asks Jones as he brings out his note to write.
"She was my boss, I worked with her for 2 years before she moved out of town without notice."
"Moved out?" asks Jones seemingly puzzled
"Yeah, she sent a weird message to my line, I think early in the morning that she was living in town and that I shouldn't ask her where or look for her."
"That was when?" asks Jones
"Three years ago," says Jane
"Really?" asks Jones
"Yeah, I didn't know why, and it was weird. I mean I have worked for her for two years and she has never sent me a text, so I felt it was weird and went the next day morning to her house, but I didn't see her and I saw Agent Amos coming out of the house saying he wants to put the house up for sale that he got a text too from her and she told him to sell the apartment and send the money to her."
"She also told him to sell the house and transfer the money to?"
"Her new account I guess. She said she was going to send the account once she moved. I haven't seen him since I thought to ask;" says Jane.
"That's weird," says Jones.
"Well, she is like that sometimes."
"Like what?" Asks Jones.
"Secretive. She keeps a lot to herself;" says Jane. "Miss White is very private and doesn't like disclosing her private information to one."
"I found out that she was being stalked. Can you tell me about that?"
