We were shocked and the people outside recognized me there, they knew who I was. He ran towards me stood me up and covered my head with it. He took me away from those people and asked me if I was alright. The people inside the tent came out and didn't know what happened there. I sort of became the town's most feared and admired person at the same time after that incident. I still avoided and kept a restriction on the schedule I designed for myself, but I let that down for him. Mr. Andrew was his name and his little brother had something known as a cursed stone. It does damage to whomever it is forwarded. I asked him 'Who gave it to your mother?' He remembered for a bit and continued, 'My aunt gave it to my mother this anniversary as a present!' I was not afraid to ask direct question so I did, 'Can you elaborate a little on your mother's relation to her?' He didn't protest as I was not a rookie in this business.
He continued my aunt and mother never seem to do well together. It was this year that my sunt gave her this stone bracelet. It was the most beautiful and precious gift given to my mother by any of her in laws. 'Your father remarried?' I asked him. 'No, he didn't!' he responded. 'Then any other appear ant reason she used to have a bad relation to her!' 'As far as I believe my mother was the most beautiful among all cousins that made her quite jealous whenever she came to parties even without an amazing attire, my mother, she used to shine like the brightest star there can be on earth!' 'Alright, so what I would like to know is for now do you want revenge or do you want it to be gone!' And he gave the most unobvious answer, I took the stone away from his brother and gave him a talisman that was an identical copy with a new blessing to be favored and loved just like her mother.
Andrew was one of the people around town who taught me not to take the obvious path. They were not unique they were just out of this world, the most pleasant souls who would just help out of no reason. It allowed me to think through my career path again and I took the restriction off and limited the number of people visiting me throughout the week. There came old, young and teens as well. Children were not allowed but they came out of curiosity. I left my full-time job after eight years. Andrew was a dealer in real-estate, and he lived in Worcestershire. He came in to visit his young brother and he never forgot me even with all the beautiful ladies he met there. We used to go on long walks together and visit the landscapes of the town that my Na loved.
His fair heart and good nature in both life and work led him to a distinguished position in the royal service. Then came the moment in life where I remembered my Na's advice to follow my heart and that year after telling the fortune to people and helping them in ways, they could not imagine for four years. He proposed me and I would have said 'Yes' to him if it weren't for Ophelia. I thought she would be lonely without me, and she told me 'Not to stay or I would be lonely!' He returned back to Worcestershire, and I slept on it for weeks. Ophelia was sick and felt like she will leave me in any instance. Although I was afraid because of my mother's past but I will follow my heart but this time when Andrew came back, he had a lady along with him. Even then I knew that I was not my parents. I am a new life to who all the experience will be unique and different as I have not experience them.
I was heart-broken to see him accompanied with a beautiful lady but he, Ophelia and my Na taught me not to be spiteful. So, I went to his home after he invited me at a dinner where he introduced us to his friend who came to visit this town to visit me especially, she desired to know something unusual about someone she desired. I was glad to know it was not Andrew. By the end of that night, I asked Andrew, 'Is that offer still on? If so . . .. then' He forgot about it and then his eyes glittered and held my face squeezing my cheeks and our eyes watered a little with both a little sadness and joy that I was ready to accept it. We had a grand wedding and all of the town felt joyed and both a little sad as they knew that Ophelia was keeping me here. She died a month after my marriage, and I didn't leave my dear teacher alone a second till her last breath.
After her death I cleared the house and left for Worcestershire along with Andrew and his little brother. We enjoyed visits all over England and he never left me alone at home. He was not the kind of person to be afraid of what the people think, he cared about if we felt the same way as others did. So, there in one of his business parties, some acquaintance of us came across and talked about fortune telling and how they believe it was a hoax. Andrew denied that and told them, if they have not met the right kind of people how do they know, it is a hoax. There cued me if I was alright with telling them that I could do that. I gestured in agreement and read his hand for the nearest death and endeavors to approach him.
That man along with many friends were quite astonished to have come across such a reading. My fortune-telling capability made me, and Andrew distinguished in the Royal court where we were invited by duchess to have a read in their lives. I was afraid but I did that confidently and as usual it was accurate. I became a bit uncertain as I still was living like non-gipsy people for the longest time after my marriage. After ten years of marriage, I was blessed with twins, a boy and a girl. And this time things took a turn for a good I was gifted a property by the Queen who was pleased to have so many accurate readings about her life. It was the house that is in the present time named as the Scarlet Garden. Believe me it is special when I say it is.''
Rosalie felt it but didn't know how special it was. ''It was just a haunted house, that was how people described it at that time. What I think is that they didn't understand the house and what it demanded. They said that it made strange noises at night and in the mid-day too. That was unusual. It meant that the house actually had something about it. I felt it when I first came across the property. The garden area was there but had no plants. The rest of the house was fine. We were cautioned about the house being haunted but we were prepared to know what was that all about? So, I did what I found out about my Gipsy tradition, we believe that our dreams are not a recurring senseless occurring, but we take them as a message, and we put our intention in them to guide us. So, the first night at that home I went to the garden, and I sat down there on the steps and took gulped three deep breaths after which I repeated my intention three times that was telling that I was there friend, but it doesn't require to be stated out just in your heart was enough. Then exactly three times I repeated aloud 'I want to know what are you? What are you doing here? Why are you here?' After a span of three week during which I kept repeating this ritual exactly at three in the morning where you could see the deep dark sky full or stars. And on the last night of this ritual that was the end of third week I received an answer in the form of a dream.'
Rosalie sensed goosebumps on her arms and chill down her spine. She felt a little afraid because she was sitting in the garden, and it was nearly 4 in the morning. She forgot all about it the next day and again came back at the same time that was 3 in the morning or the post mid-night. She was scared to continued reading but she had to as it was a routine by now and she couldn't make up her mind to read it any other hour of the day. She continued reading from where she left. 'Where is it . . .. alright! Let's dig in! Rosalie' she muffled.
