Nora and Eliot helped Richard out of the water who was now completely soaking wet. Nora covered him in the towel and yelled at Johnathan and Eliot to take him to the hospital. His hat, light moustache, and whiskers fell off in the lake and now everybody knew who Richard was. Richard was Rosalie, Johnathan picked her up and laid her in his car. Nora and Catherine accompanied her and Johnathan. They tried to dry her off as much as they could. She turned pale with the cold water and her lips began to turn pale as well. It dreaded both Nora and Catherine. 'I am afraid she will freeze to death!' bellowed Nora. Catherine tried to calm Nora down and said, 'Nora, we are trying, just calm down!'. Johnathan was driving in such a wild rush that the town's sheriffs followed them to the clinic. But they stopped when they became mindful of the situation. They let Johnathan off with a warning.
It was sundown, Rosalie was not conscious. She was well as the nurse notified them but yet she had a fever. It didn't satisfy any of them. And Johnathan had a fight with Oliver when he showed up right after they admitted Rosalie in the clinic. He threw a punch really hard, and his nose started bleeding. Eliot and Catherine intervened and stopped him. Oliver said, 'It was a mistake! I didn't know he couldn't swim!'. Oliver was separated from them, and a nurse dressed his nose. Eliot was equally infuriated and wanted to sever him a good beat but what John did calm him a little. Johnathan didn't want to hear a word from him and threatened him, 'if anything happens to her, I will kill you!'. Nora took Catherine at the side and sat her up. She told her to take Oliver and go home. She agreed to that, 'Eliot come on you must leave me home now! Johnathan will be staying here till Angie arrives!'
Rosalie opened her eyes; she was not at the lake side in her district. 'What is this place!' she thought. She was in the garden in an intense concerned state. 'How can I undo this! He cannot leave me like this!'. She felt a headache and at that instant Johnathan got stabbed by a man in a mask. He placed his hand over the wound and then fell on the road. She could see him lying there bleeding. George and Eliot held him up and his lifeless body in his grey blood drenched dress dangled lifelessly. As Rosalie shrieked, she was not there on the road anymore. She found herself under the sea green water where she was not wearing Richard's guise and Johnathan's stabbed body sank down slowly and gradually. She couldn't move upwards but she tried to hold him, but his coat missed her fingers and he vanished. Rosalie cried feebly, 'No, no! . . .. No! It can't be . . ..'. Nora and the nurse held her arms to calm her down. 'Rosalie, it is alright! You are fine!' said Nora. She hugged her and uttered, 'We are at the clinic! You are doing fine now, love!'.
She realized that she was in the hospital now. She observed Nora, Johnathan and Angie who arrived at the very second. She came in straight and hugged her, 'Are you alright? You have a fever!'. She turned at the nurse and asked, 'She will be well?'. The nurse remarked, 'She just needs a rest and as long as there will be disturbance that would not be possible! Just one member of the family!'. Nora told the nurse, 'Miss. Angie is her guardian. She will stay here the night!'. Johnathan and Nora went outside with the nurse. She briefed them about everything related to her recovery. Nora talked to Angie about it and then Johnathan left Nora at her home in the town. 'You should stay out of trouble, John!' she said. Johnathan was calm but Oliver's mention enraged him. 'I just couldn't get a hold on my anger!' remarked Johnathan. 'He would have killed her with his mindless action!' he further added. 'Yes, I know he is at fault here, but Rosalie is well! She will be fine! So, now we must all forgive and forget!' 'I presume, you are right! But my blood boiled with hatred when I saw him pull Richard off the deck! It was dreadful!' he told Nora. He paused for a brief moment and processed about the Richard and Rosalie disguise matter. He asked Nora, 'What is this Richard disguise thing all about?'. Nora's home arrived and as she descended, she answered him, 'You should ask her yourself!'.
Rosalie couldn't sleep at the clinic, and she was embarrassed of how identity revealed at that day. She had plenty of rest and Angie was sleeping beside her on the couch. She was burning in fever and was restless but not fatigued. She recalled the dream, and it was strange as it was not a dream but a vision. It was about Johnathan being stabbed. She was concerned and thought, 'I must warn you! . . .. but how? I hope. . .. you will be alright!' She spends that night tossing and turning sides which Angie notice. She was tired and her eyes turned red. Rosalie remained out till the noon when Nora and Eliot visited her. 'How are you feeling sleeping beauty?' said Nora. 'Must be good to experience a change of scenery!' Eliot pronounced amusingly. She laughed at his sense of humor at that place. She replied, 'Yes, this change of senary was actually what I require!'. 'I hope that this place is not troubling you in the head!' said Nora feeling concerned. Eliot added, 'Nora, how can it do that, it is just like a fine restaurant but the thing different about it is that you have to chug more medicine than appetizing meals if you do not discharge within one day!'.
