Chapter 37 - Jaxson's Inner Voice ( Feeling Guilt. )

Jaxson sits at his desk , going over the shit Brandon said. How is he going to send Nitika to Brandon's Staff without her thinking Brandon had something to do with it. I can't believe that asshole put me in this situation" where I have to lie to Nitika. Now he's dragging me into his shit and I'm not happy about it. I get myself together and with a guilty conscience I call for Nitika to come up to my office. I sit here still not knowing what to say but I can't let Brandon down its his call " he owns Fast Track Music and even though he isn't known as the owner" he still brought Fast Track Music to where it is today. I can't let my feelings for Nitika come between us even I don't agree how he's handling this with her , there's nothing I can do . I can't let Brandon know my feelings for Nitika to it's been three months since she started here and from day one" I new she was something special brandon didn't even need to tell me . I need to stop the feelings I'm having " Brandon is my best friend and like my brother . I won't come between him and Nitika at least not yet . I'm just going wait and see what happens, I know she isn't ready for no relationship after having her heart broke. So I'll just sit by and wait it out , Brandon fucks up, then I'm going to be here for Nitika and pick up the pieces and maybe I'll get my shot with her. Imnot hoping Brandon fucks up , but if he pushes things with her to Fast and try to take things to far before she's ready " he's going to scare her ands she's going to pull away from him. Not to mention he's not being honest with her completely and that might cost him , her . A knock brings me out of my thoughts and I say come in, and Nitika enters my office . Hey Jaxson she says " you wanted to see me. Sure did I say , sit down Nitika I have something to talk to you about. Shoot boss I'm all ears she says" So Nitka first of I want to say I'm happy with your work and your doing a good job so far with Stage Revolution but you lack experience. And I think you would gain the experience if I put you with some of my staff who's the best at giving you that experience. So starting by the end of the week you'll be working with my staff the can give that what you lack. Okay boss I'm in for that " but what about Stage Revolution " I promised to devote all my timefor them . Well Nitika you'll still be working with Stage Revolution but I'm putting you with Jacob West crew fir a while , don't get upset and think Brandon had something to do with this , because he don't. I just see so much potential in you" and Brandon has the best staff that I can trust to show you the ropes. it's just a couple times a week , but boss who will handle Stage Revolution" during the time I'm training under Jacob West staff . Nitika it's only a couple days a week so to save face with Alex I'll assign him under you , so he can handle Stage Revolution when your training under Jacob West staff. Okay boss, but you know Alex isn't a big fan of mine" what if this makes things worse . Then I'll handle Nitika, but you have to be honest about it and come to me . If anyone not just Alex gives you a hard time. Because the rules state that employees aren't to harass other employees and or interfere in the Company's policies. Jaxson I don't want to feel like a snitch, can I at least try and handle things myself first if anyone starts shit . Than if I can't handle it " I'll come to you. Well Nitika if you think you can handle it in a professional way then okay I'll give you that' but if I see or hear anything I will step in " it's my job as CEO to handle my employees. Now with that said you can return to your work , I have a meeting to attend. Nitika don't let me down listen , learn and make me proud I gave you this chance. Nitika leaves my office and I slump down in my chair I feel like shit lying to her, but what Brandon wants " Brandon gets away with making me the bad guy I'm just the front man who does his dirty work in a way he don't have to get his hands dirty .
