Chapter 38 - I Have To Do ,What I'm Told To Do .

Nitka leaves Jaxsons office in a daze " I can't believe you're putting me on Brandon's Staff Jaxson, she talks to her self headed to the elevator. Jaxson said Brandon had nothing to do with his decision but some how I don't believe that. But Brandon or Jacob West don't have that kind of pull with Jaxson. At least I hope not. I been trying to avoid Brandon since our date and the flesh melting kiss we shared .And the fact how weak I become in his arms" and he can't ever know how he affects me . I need to keep this professional with him " but I know he won't go for that. And being on his staff that's means we will spend a lot time together. God help me , because I can still feel his lips on mine, his body tight against mine , and the way he looked at me in the moonlight. I get wet just thinking about it , he can't ever know I want to him in so many ways" with being naked in my bed number one. Fanning myself I get to my office and down a full glass of water, the affect Brandon has on me is beyond anything I have ever felt. I just wonder if he feels the same way or is he just wanting me in his bed , because I'm someone he can't have and I'm a challenge for him. And Brandon has already said he likes a challenge " and I refuse to become just another one of his one night stands. I know Brandon said he isn't anything like the tabloids report, or the internet. But a guy will say anything to get what they want" but im not becoming one of his toys. I will respect Jaxsons decision and do my job " but I need to make it clear to Brandon we stay professional, I'm so out of his league " I'm a nobody freshly out of college and just wanting to do my job. Maybe not even friends because you will think we can go out on dates as friends " and I think I will just say we can be acquaintance who work together. But I'm not going to let Sage and thenguys know I'm upset with Jaxsons decision" to put me on Jacob West staff a few days a week . Someone's not very happy, come baby cakes you can vent to us Sage says as he looks at me. No guys I'm good really I say " Sage grins at me and I know he knows , I'm bullshitting him . But I give them a big fake smile and say okay guys I got some news for you starting next week you guys will have Alex a couple days and since your already acquainted with Alex that shouldn't be a issue I say with a fake smile. Woe woe woe love what's going on Sage says, is this the reason you look like someone stole your wheaties this morning. I laugh at Sages effort for attempting to make a joke" Laughing I look at him , that was bad even for you Sage ,and the guys all nod their heads and agree with me. Stick to singing the all shut at Sage, oh I'm hurt Sage says" I'm funny guy . No your not the guys all say and I almost piss myself laughing. Okay, okay guys now getting back to what I was saying " you'll have Alex a couple days a week and I during that time will be training under Jacob West staff. Shit Nitika who's great idea was that the guys all say. Hey it comes from the boss himself Jaxson, and I have to do what I'm told. Oh hell no ill have a word with the boss Sage says, we can't deal with Alex . Before you came we had him and he drove us crazy" I was ready to go to Jaxson and ask them to replace him. Then you showed up and we liked you " but Alex no way. Guys it's not forever its only untill I get a little more experience and we both will benefit from that. We refuse to work with Alex , he's a deal breaker and I'm going to Jaxson he can give us someone else besides you . I'm still going to be here for you guys , if you need anything all you have ro do is call me. We will hold you to that baby cakes Sage says. I promise your number one if you need anything or have any complaints" call me we will solve it together, but you guys still have me you know just not everyday for a while.
