Andrew sights him walking around the field, and he whistles to Jude.
"Pass the work to the next team. Seems our Alpha needs attention." He tells him in his mind link.
"Beyonce, keep training them!" Jude orders her, and she moves on with the training while some wolves mope around the field; some with the right intentions and some, creepily and with subtle intentions. Denoted right from the way they walk, and stroll around the field.
"Alpha Fred." Jude says, panting as he walks up to him.
"Anything we can do for you?" Andrew asks.
"Well, I didn't call for you but thank goodness you're right here. Remember Alpha Max promised to return after three days?" Fred snorts.
Jude and Andrew sigh and nod their heads together in response.
"Today is the first day. All hands must be on deck to ensure we do not get intimidated and wiped out." Fred adds.
"Andrew, by the way, what three packs did you see the other time?" Fred asks, alongside his statement.
"For real, I saw three packs. One with a horn, one with a feather and, one with a gem." He splutters. "The one with a feather has come inside, and that should be Kenneth. The one with a horn should indicate Alpha Max since he's the leader of the Hell Fire team." Then he stops.
"The one with a gem?" Jude and Fred ask, at same time.
"I don't know but that might be rogues. Maybe special rogues..." He tries to get a point.
"Maybe the rogue designed to be her mate." Jude adds, and covers his lips immediately. He remembers Fred had told them both not to mention anything as regards Emilia.
"I swear to God, I didn't say a word." He lies, and keeps mute due to the sharp gazes from Fred.
"Let's ensure Max and his members don't get in here to destroy us." Fred says, and sighs. "We are only an hundred and one while his pack has thousands of warriors."
"Let's get you in so you won't be stressed." Andrew cuts in.
"Don't! Did I not come here myself? Stop making me seem like an old fool." He corrects, and Andrew apologizes by bowing his head.
"My opinion is to make peace treaty with him." Jude suggests. "Whatcha think?"
"That would have been the best. But I don't think it's an option." Fred retorts. "He clearly wants us to be a team in his pack."
Andrew scoffs, and sneezes multiple times. Then he speaks up, "There's no how we won't mention her if we are to get an idea of how to tackle the hell fire team."
"Then, say it." Fred submits. "Let's get to sit again?"
Jude chuckles, and as Fred stares at him in question as he changes his countenance, and frowns.
"Aah." Fred sighs, reclining his back on the recliner once they get inside his room.
"Let your daughter return here tomorrow. Now, Alpha Kenneth knows she's coming tomorrow." Jude says. "Don't you think we have to go bring her home ourselves?"
"We sure will. I'll send both of you." Fred replies. "Well, it's a pity that since my thirty and one years of reigning, we have never been more than hundred in this pack. That's saddening."
"But having your pack is the issue, not the number of warriors. After all, you only started with some Betas and then us." Andrew encourages.
"I have a thought, guys." Jude says, clicking his tongue. "Haven't you thought of why packs get in here just so easily? Maybe we can just hinder those Alphas and stop thinking of Emilia getting into danger or we going into extinction."
Fred adjusts his sitting position and Andrew does, too. "Wait... that's true. We do lock the gate shut. We have security wolves too. Why do they get in without our permission? Or are those wolves numb?" Andrew adds, giving another thought.
"Let's go have a look!" Fred rises to his feet, and heads straight to the main gate after shutting the door behind him.
The pack members he encounters on his way to the main gate bow their heads, and Fred only responds with his hands in air.
Once they reach the Main gate after marching with repeated thuds, they set their eyes on the nook and crannies of the strong gate. White Wolf Wills bows his head in respect, beckoning to his other security wolves to greet the Alpha.
"Alpha, is everything alright?" Wills asks.
Jude claps his right palm, suggesting Wills gets near them and he gets the tip. He moves near them, and sighs.
"How do Alphas of the pack get in here even with you here and this tight paranormal security?" Jude whispers into his ears while Fred and Andrew keeps inspecting around the gate.
"Remember they are also paranormal?" Wills retorts. "They have the access to get in here. Even without being a wizard or witch."
"How's that?" Jude replies, a little bit loud. "They have power than you do?"
"The gem crystal." Wills retorts, and Jude sighs, linking the recent discussion he had with Fred and Andrew, with Wills' response.
"The gem crystal?" Jude asks again.
"Yes."
"Where is it?"
"Right there at the lock. Once an Alpha's scent blends with the gem crystal, the door creaks open and that's another word for saying moon goddess accepts the visit." Wills rants. "So we have no other option than to let them in, or better still, mind link you and alert you about their arrival."
"We now have an option." Jude replies.
"Alpha Fred, I got the solution." Jude says, and both Fred and Andrew look back at him suddenly while one of the locks hit the gate and makes a clank sound.
"What's that?" Fred asks, sweat trickling down his forehead already as he approaches Jude and Wills whose eyes are awaiting him.
"Andrew, you know you talked about the gem crystal." Jude tells him, and walks up to the gate.
"Yeah, I did." Andrew replies.
"That is the reason behind their barging in without order." He tells them, and they look at themselves, not quite understanding the situation. Wills moves up to the gate, and hits the gem but it doesn't move a bit from where it is.
"Beta Jude." Wills calls him. "Here is the crystal, solidly encrypted and not meant to be shoved."
"Wow!" Fred exhales but Andrew doesn't say a word, his face reads confusion. "You added it there. No?"
"Pluck it out." Fred says but Wills tells him that he can't.
"You can't, Alpha." Wills tells him after Fred tries much attempts to break it off of the gate. "Not even in your wolf form."
Fred hits the gate with his legs, and shouts, "Shit! This is no solution. How do we get this broken off?"
Jude wants to speak but Wills cuts in, and he keeps mute.
"That's if you have the Alpha's scent." He says. "One of the Alphas that got in here - Kenneth or Max."
"Oh!" Jude remarks. "I'll be right back." Then, he leaps forward and heads towards the Alpha's room.
"Where are you up to?" Andrew asks him but Fred retorts, "leave him alone."
"Does he know what he is doing?" Wills asks Fred. Fred doesn't say a word. In a matter of few minutes, Jude comes back with a flower with banana scent in it.
"Remember, Alpha?" He says, walking faster to meet them. "Alpha Kenneth dropped his scent so we can confirm blah blah blah." He said, not wanting to reveal what Kenneth came for, to Wills.
Andrew chuckles, realizing Jude slurry and sudden reload of his number six, not to let the cat out of the bag.
"Yeah, I quite remember. I hope the scent isn't fading." Fred retorts and reaches out for the flowers.
"Almost!" Andrew alerts, and quickly enough, they place the scent on the gem and it dissolves, dropping to the ground.
"This is an achievement." Wills comments.
The gem crystal reforms and glows as Fred picks it up.
"Thank you, Wills." Jude waves at Wills and he, with Andrew and Alpha Fred return to the palace, to plan how to bring Emilia, the only daughter of Fred, back home.
Safe, and sound.
A slightly shriek sound intrudes the pack house; though they all hear, no one gives a damn about it. They all resume their daily activities, training and getting trained while the white wolves at the gate cooperate and have a meeting in lieu of stopping rogues and bossy Alphas from intruding the pack again.
"You know anything about Vampires?" One of the security white wolves asks his other mate after the Alpha and Betas are gone. "Alpha Max might be a vampire."
"Why did you say that?" Jack, his co-security wolf, replies through questioning.
"Though he has a big pack house and fame, it's suspicious how he talks with uncommon boldness."
Jack sighs.
"Hold on. Are White Wolves stronger than Vampires are?" Wills suddenly asks him.
