"Emilia, you stay here." Fred tells her. "Make sure you don't leave Andrew and Jude. You know them, don't you?"
Emilia nods, not wanting to object his instruction and most importantly, to keep her secret, the secret of having gotten a witch power and the abilities in herself
"Alpha Kenneth, we are returning to our pack. Kindly clear the road for us." Fred says, softly and face to face with Kenneth while Kenneth's two Betas stay at his sides.
"I'm not here to annihilate your pack." Kenneth scoffs, exchanging stares with Emilia. "I only smelt my wolf. Sorry. I mean, my mate."
"But you promised to come after three days. Why now?" Jude retorts, holding onto Emilia more tightly.
"Moon goddess has hastened the process, and again, if I don't take her now, another Alpha will." Kenneth replies. "It's kind of dark here. Dark wolves might be present but not noticed. What do you all think? Let's go to my pack?" He suggests.
"You've been the only one doing the talking." Fred objects, and shifts him to the left angle with his palms, making Kenneth stagger. "Come on, dudes. It's time to go."
"Don't forget, you're just one hundred and one warriors. You can be easily wiped out." Kenneth yells as Emilia and Fred's Betas brush past him.
"And don't forget, you're just a green Alpha who doesn't know how to lead his warriors for a battle." Kellie retorts and rolls her eyes at him as she walks more quickly to catch up with Fred.
"She even knows a thing about me." Kenneth chuckles and looks at his two Betas. His Betas give a disdainful countenance but he shakes his tongue and smiles wildly at them.
"Isn't that funny?" He asks his Betas. "Look at how I'm being derided."
"I'll come tomorrow morning for her. You can't hinder me from entering!" Kenneth yells before Fred and others move out of earshot.
"That's if he has another scent." Jude chuckles.
"He doesn't know his scent has been used to hinder his direct approval to just damn barge in to out pack house. Such a silly Alpha." Andrew adds.
"But remember, it's Alpha Kenneth." Emilia retorts.
"We all know that, my baby." Fred says, stares back at her, and chuckles.
"He can create another scent." Emilia tells them but rather becomes shocked since they didn't shudder as she expects them to.
"Not his scent. But the gem crystal his scent blends with, has been disheveled." Jude explains to her. "We are going straight into your dad's room to discuss how you'll escape."
"Escape from?" Emilia coldly asks, making Fred stare bemusedly at her.
"Escape from the two Alphas of course." Andrews shrugs.
"Which are?" She asks again.
"Did you go to school to acquire knowledge or to become a dunce, I don't really understand your shitty questions." Jude scoffs and glares at her.
"I'm not leaving here." She replies them.
"That's if you're not my daughter." Fred retorts. "I can't watch you die when there are many ways to be alive."
"You don't have to watch me." Emilia shrugs her shoulders and scoffs. "I can't die. Moon goddess herself has shown me my mate."
They all halt, and their feet scratch the ground, swirling up dust in the same dark path to the pack house.
"Moon Goddess has told you who your mate is?" Fred asks.
Emilia nods her head.
"Like, for real?" Andrews chuckles. Emilia sighs deeply.
"Come on, mind link one of the pack members. We are going to pass through the main gate and not here." Fred gladly instructs Jude.
"So you didn't pass through the gate?" Emilia chuckles.
"Yeah. We needed to find you on time. There are hot discussions and a strong Alpha is after this pack so we need to escape with you." Fred replies. "How far, Jude? Been able to reach out to anyone?"
"Don't." Emilia clips. "Don't reach out. Let's take same route."
"Why, girl?" Fred asks, disturbed.
"I have a feeling in my spirit." She splutters. "Fast. Let's move into the pack!"
Fred stands still, hands akimbo while Jude and Andrews stare at her for a clearer instruction.
"Alpha Maxwell." Emilia says, and suddenly turns towards the Betas. "… is right inside your pack house."
"What! What The Fuck!" Fred cusses as his feet scurry along the road leading to climbing up the fence of the pack house.
"Alpha, why are you like this?" Andrew objects as Emilia's hands are wholly clutched into Jude's, in view of escaping. "How did you believe her?"
"Believe her or not, we must go. Dark wolves are right here. This is exactly where that tough rogue fought with Fred when we came out of the pack house, remember?"
"Not exactly." Andrew's voice goes into slurries. "But I remember."
"Hey, guys." Fred beckons to them. "I can hear muffled voices in the pack house. I can see fire. Come over, now, now, now!" He starts with cool tone then with harsh one as the intensity of the urgency goes higher.
Without any further hesitation, Andrews joins Jude and Emilia as they scoot over to Fred and climb the fence. They remain on the fence as they want to jump down into the pack house because of what they see.
Sword.
Fire.
Encrypted name.
"What do these three imply?" Emilia asks but Fred shushes her with his hands in air while he jumps down himself, leaving others standing on the fence.
"Our warriors are being attacked." Fred says. "By Alpha Max."
"My goodness…. This evening again?" Jude wails. "May we come over?"
"No. Not yet." Fred replies. "He's moping around my room and your rooms. I mean Jude's and Andrew's." Fred adds. "He has restricted our warriors from shifting into their wolves while he is instructing his warriors to kill them."
Without hesitating, Emilia jumps down.
"What!" Fred stares bizarrely at her.
Jude and Andrew follow suit almost immediately, as they bump into Fred's back.
"Let's go fight them, Alpha!" Emilia shrieks as her wolf gives the signal to take control.
"Be calm, girl." Fred holds her back but Jude and Andrew move forward into the pack house, jerking off of his hands trying to hold them down too. "He will retrieve your power as well."
"No, Dad." Emilia shrieks at Fred. "You don't care about your warriors at all. If we die, we die together."
Saying that, she bumps into the pack house and unintentionally steps on a breaking object. More like a decomposing object. She bends down and sees that it is a warrior of the pack. As she lifts her up her head, slowly and slowly, her eyes come in close contact with Alpha Max of the Hell Fire Team coupled with his two Betas standing right behind him and looking more fiery than they'll look in their wolves' forms.
"Where is the useless Alpha of this pack?" Max barks at Emilia. "And those useless Betas."
As his voice echoes in her head, she sights Fred and his Betas hiding under a shade though at different places.
"I don't know where they are." Emilia replies. "Neither do I know you."
Max proceeds creepily to her and grabs her throat, then with his tongue twisting like a wolf's, he makes an attempt to mark her. Seeing that, Fred bursts out of his hiding arena as he lands an unexpectedly rough blow on Max's backbones. Luckily for Fred, he is in his human form so that quite affects him.
Jude and Andrews get out of their hiding places as well but not without whining and howling. As Jude sights the sting sticking out of Max's tongue to mark Emilia, his wolf gets angry and infects Andrew's wolf too. With a painful growl coupled with howling and restructuring of the hairless body to a fully hairy one, Jude gives his wolf the control as he snaps against Max. Andrew on the other angle lifts up his wolf's extra-large jaw and howls, scaring Max's Betas to retreat from killing their warriors.
"No o!" Fred yells as well with an agitated tone as Emilia drops to the ground, unsure if she's already gotten marked. Max winks at his Betas in their wolves form now who are struggling with Jude and Andrew to implement the deal. And the deal is, stop Fred from shifting. As one of his Betas tries to, Emilia springs up and rather hinders Max from shifting while she gives more control to Fred as he turns into his wolf with grunts and his clothes tearing away and flying into a long distance, and sends Max to the ground.
Jude and Andrew with Max's two Betas while Fred with Max and Emilia using her witch power to stop Max's other warriors from killing Fred's warriors.
"Make sure they don't win you." Emilia tells Fred and his Betas, ignorant of the fact that they don't hear such things as wolves. They hear but they are not the humans they were. Clear?
Emilia's nostrils start to ooze out blood as her hand twists, her head following suit, using that to not only stop Max's warriors from attacking Fred's but to kill them actually, and that will derive a lot of energy from her as a witch.
Fire ravages the pack house as all properties start to burn quickly, and unbelievably, a team chosen apart by Max to pour water on the fire burning the pack house, do, but the water makes the fire burn much more than ever.
Obviously, it is not normal fire nor is it normal water. If they were, they wouldn't be burning a pack house made with spiritual powers but safely, Emilia is here.
"I know you're a witch but I'm a wizard so you can't win us." A voice swoons into her head suddenly.
