Now Reggie and I are running to the front gate, but before that I pressed the emergency button. And after I clicked on it, a voice sounded throughout the laboratory

- Dr. Reggie, explain why they attack? We have nothing "valuable" - I asked this nobleman. To which he quickly replied:
- I don't know why they attacked, and in general we don't know who they are, maybe they are impostors. I'll have to check it out," he replied, and I couldn't help but nod. - Yes, if not them, then we will simply kill them, and we will seize the commander and interrogate - I thought about these bandits. Soon we ran up to the gate, and dozens of bandits in black were already waiting for us. "Hmm, two are in the advanced stage and the rest are in the initial stage. Strange" quickly analyzed the opponents and it's rather strange. "They are about the same strength as us. It will be difficult if these small things interfere. Good thing I included. .." Before I could finish my thought, a piece of some kind of earth flew at me.

I managed to react and avoided this piece of land. Then I took out my weapon and it was a 1.5 meter butcher's knife. It had green streaks all over the blade and it glowed slightly with a green light. "I haven't used this baby for a long time," I thought inwardly, and then I heard a cumbersome voice:
- Kill everyone and take all the valuables! - shouted the big man who threw this piece of land at me. He has two huge rectangular shields and they seem to be halves, as the drawing of the mountain is divided into two halves. I thought and turned to Reggie:
- I'll take care of this big guy, and you take care of that thin one - I told him to which he simply nodded and focused on the enemy. I moved quickly, circulating my mana through certain parts of my body and strengthening them. "We need to test his shields for strength," I thought, and before approaching, I dodged the incoming projectiles. These were spheres of fire, spears of earth, and arrows of wind.

I continued to dodge the projectiles "maybe these small fry can't hurt badly, but they can slow me down" I thought. But then I heard the voice of my wards and the sounds of spells being formed behind me:

- Help Dr. Kili and Dr. Reggie, take only the opponents at the initial stage - the scientist shouted and they obeyed him. "Oh, now I can take care of this big guy * buff *" I thought and quickly accelerated. And in a second I was a couple of meters away from the big guy and then I did a vertical strike.

"Strong!" I exclaimed in my mind and tried to get out of his area of effect. But I did not have time to get out of his zone of destruction and I was touched by a shock wave when he hit the floor with shields. By continuing to circulate mana, I was able to protect my organs from this shockwave, but then I heard the cheerful voice of a big man.
- Wow, old man are you blessed too? I sensed your other mana, he said in a cheerful tone. "He's blessed too, well then I don't have to hold back," I concluded in my mind and poured another mana into my sword.
He greedily devoured my sword and then glowed brightly, but I noticed that his shields also began to glow. "Well, I have another weapon," I mentally concluded and injected mana there too. "*poisonous enhancement* well, let's see what you can do," I thought, and pulled away.
"Oh, Dr. Kili has activated his blessing, be careful!" shouted a scientist. Then there were dozens of impacts and clanging of metal, and after each impact there was a shock wave due to the force of the collision.
*Slash* *Boom* *Clunk*
After dozens of exchanges of blows, I realized that he was too hardy. "Why are my hits being absorbed? Maybe he has the ability to absorb hits, but where do they go..." before I could finish my thought, my senses sensed danger and tried to move away from the big man, but I was still hit by this force and threw me straight into the wall.
*Bam* *crack*
The wall cracked under the force of the blow and dozens of cuts formed on me, but the mana quickly flowed through my channels and began to heal.

- Not! I'LL KILL YOU! I shouted in anger and my tentacles rose and were about to tear anyone. "I will kill him! *Poison Cutter**Enhancement**Poisonous Strengthening*" I shouted in my mind and quickly rushed towards the opponent.
POV: Dr. Reggie
"Ugh, a strong airbender, and his twin wave-shaped blades seem to merge with the air" I thought in my mind and tried to cut him horizontally, but he dodged and delivered a series of blows to my organs. I released a flame of fire for protection and then jumped back, and then said:
- You're already tired, stop wasting time - I said and fired a series of fiery spears. A sphere of air formed around him and protected him from my spears. But he just laughed and said
"Hahaha, I'm not playing for time, I'm just having fun....." But before he could finish, the ceiling collapsed in front of the entrance to the complex. "The first part of the plan is completed, now it remains to wait for the signal" I thought and became more assertive. "I need to play my part well as a protector *fiery flash*" cast a spell and a red sphere formed in front of me. I pour my mana into the spell and the orb begins to turn red and glow brightly.
"Hey, you don't think I'll give you time to cast the spell." After saying that, he lunged at me in a strange manner and brandished one of his daggers. "Damn! * gain *" I shouted in my mind. I quickly bounced back from where I was, but it seemed like I was slowing down "he controls the air around me" I had time to think before defending against his attacks.
*cut* *tsen* *clang*
I got cut several times and my mana flowed to stop the bleeding in these places "ugh, it hurts damn it! Be patient Reggie, if you endure it, you will get a big benefit" I motivated myself, but before I went to attack, I sensed danger to my left where the old man was fighting . And then there was an explosion of such force that even reached me.
*bam*
"So this is what the battle of the blessed looks like," I thought, and looked at the huge cloud of dust, but they didn't give me a good look because they were trying to kill me.
- Hey, don't get distracted, otherwise you might lose your head! - playfully said the airbender.
- Freak, I'll kill you! - I answered him and my spell was ready for a long time.
- Oh, die freak! - I shouted and released the spell, but soon there was an explosion and a cry of pain.
*Boom*
- AAAAAAAA! The airbender screamed in pain. I couldn't lose those precious seconds and attacked him.
In another part of the laboratory
POV: Leon Burnhart
"What's the noise?" I woke up and looked around and found no one. But then I heard the sound of sirens and was delighted. "This is a great opportunity to escape" as I was about to climb out of my "house" I saw some kind of ripple on the front door. "Looks like it won't be that easy," I analyzed the ripples. But then I heard a rumble from behind me.
*Bolt*
"What the fuck" I thought, and soon there was a small explosion that raised a cloud of dust. Then dust and I heard footsteps approaching. "Calm down, everything is in order," I reassured myself, but then I heard a voice.
- It's here, as our spy told us - the voice said and then the dialogue began.
"Commander, you better pull him out through the control panel, and not by force," said a younger voice, to which the one who is called the commander replied.
- Yes, I know Tim, but let's first see what we're taking - he answered Tim and then they went to look at me. "Am I some kind of animal or am I at the zoo?" I thought with displeasure, but then when they were so that I could see them, they seemed much weaker than the old man and Reggie. "Only one is troubling and the others are not," I analyzed with my instincts.
"She's pretty, is this really our order?" One of the bandits asked in a lustful tone that made me want to shove one ice object up his ass. But the commander cooled their lustful desires.
- This order is beyond the reach of our entire gang

One of the bandits took out a blanket, the other took out a small syringe with some kind of liquid. But then they noticed that I was looking at them and some of them backed away.
"C-commander, she doesn't sleep," one of the frightened bandits said, to which the commander looked at me and simply shrugged his shoulders and said.
"He won't do anything and he doesn't even have spells so he can be considered a baby in front of us" convinced them and he started working from the control panels. After about 10 minutes, I began to lift and at the same time the pain went. "Finally, I can escape from this hell," I thought, and instead of the table they lowered me to the floor and I immediately turned on the ability of the animals.

"I'm in a dark space again," I concluded, but I was wrong. Now I was in a white space with bloodstains. "Hmm, what am I supposed to do here, maybe practice spells," I thought, but in a moment everything changed. Everything has become colder, so much so that I can't even move, but this is not necessary since I found the cause of this strange phenomenon. It was me, or rather the older me.
