Fenrir continued to teach us more.
"Today, we shall be learning more about Conductors. To understand this lesson, it is a prerequisite for you to have learnt the theory behind the Kirisawa House's Shin Seiryuu Enjinn no Soten Souryu Bloodline Limit as well as Ai Kirisawa's Mysterious Blades Of The Ocean Bloodline Limit particularly in relation to Waves" Fenrir explained.
"We can at least generate Shin Seiryuu Enjinn's Form" I said.
"Are you able to coordinate it?" Fenrir asked.
"Those of us with an affinity for Fire can" Saito replied.
"Good, let's start from there. All human beings have a framework within our bodies that preserves our form. This framework is the Skeleton. In our bodies as well we have organs such as veins, capillaries and the like through which the energy we absorb from our surroundings is channeled to the rest of the body. For instance, the Heat Energy we absorb from our surroundings is circulated by our Blood. Our Blood in a sense is responsible for maintaining a regular temperature within our bodies. Chemical Energy is also assimilated by our Blood and circulated throughout our bodies via the Circulatory System. Wind Energy is also absorbed by humans from our surroundings via the Oxygen we breathe. This is also channeled into our Blood to enhance energy release. From what I have said, you may have deduced that humans have the ability to absorb Wind Energy, Chemical Energy and Heat Energy from their surroundings via the air we breathe, the food we eat and through Sunlight respectively. However, this would not be possible at all without another unique system in our bodies, the Nervous System" Fenrir explained.
"The Nervous System is composed mainly of our Brain and Spinal Cord as well as the neurones that inhabit the entire framework of our bodies right?" Arlene asked.
"Exactly. You can think of the Nervous System as an interconnected System of Conductors powered by the Brain which acts like a battery of sorts as well as the Heart. All the input, and this is where your knowledge of Waves is really important, namely the various forms of energy we absorb from our surroundings are converted into Electric Impulses. Impulses that flow from outside the body, into the body to the brain are what we call Sensory Impulses. These are processed by what we call Sensory Neurones. The processed impulses give us an interpretation of what we are perceiving in our environment. Light Waves when captured via the Sensory Neurones in our Eyes are converted to Sight. Wind Waves when fused with Chemical Waves in our surroundings and captured by our Nostrils are converted to Scent. When Wind Waves are captured by our Ears in the form of Vibrations, they are converted into Sound. Heat Energy when captured via our Skin help us sense the Temperature of our surroundings and feel things like pain. Chemical Energy when captured by the Sensory Neurones on our Tongue are converted into Taste. However, all these Waves when captured in their initial forms are converted first to Electric Impulses that are transmitted through our body to our brain. It is in our brains that the decoding occurs and an interpretation of the perceived Wave in our surroundings is given. Impulses however that flow from our brains to other parts of our bodies are predominantly called Motor Impulses. These are processed by what we call Motor Neurones. The Motor Neurones circulate important organs and are located mostly in our joints. These Motor Neurones act to move various parts of our body and keep important organs in our body functioning well. Motor Neurones work together with our Skeletal Framework and Muscles to move our bodies and various parts of our bodies" Fenrir explained.
