Chapter 11 - Chapter 11:The forge and a plan

First of all what type of weapon do you want I asked turning to her and don't say surprise me cuz that won't do since I want this weapon to be like another limb so tell me when you close your eyes and look down to your hands what weapon do you hold not what you imagine but what you feel Layla closed her eyes and put her hands in front of her like she was holding something with both I heard her muttering and shaking her head like she was trying to find something in a book but could not find the page yet minutes passed with her shaking her head and muttering no no I didn't move or speak I just stared at her waiting then I heard her say yes and she opened her eyes but she didn't move she still had her hands in front of her like she was holding something I found it and shocking enough it isn't a weapon that I have used much and it's not a Greek weapon I smiled and said the long sword also none at the bastard sword she glared at me saying you sneaky but before she could finish I shrugged and picked up a shovel and pickaxe saying fallow and I walked towards the mine I still had on my gun belt and my weapons where on me plus my bag and my coat was in my magic bag let's go find your weapon I said laughing I blinked and my eyes started to glow gold Layla just glared at my back hours passed with us in the mine and we found many gems and raw metal but none of them was what I was looking for but we mined them anyway luckily we did cuz wall we was mining some iron I swung the pickaxe down and a chunk of iron broke off but where the chunk was under it was a dark red metal I smiled evilly saying found some Layla looked over to me saying what did you find her face and clothes where covered with dirt and grime from the mine I smiled and swung the pickaxe two more times hitting way the iron when the last chunk of iron fell I crouched down and brushed the dirt and dust off it this dark red metal it almost looked like a ruby but it felt like raw metal Layla crouched down neck to me asking what is it called I chuckled its called red metal very rare to find and I am surprised we found one this big this will be more than enough to make your sword I wiggled it free picking it up it was about the size of a small bench I picked it up using my legs and put it on one shoulder walking to the cart we had with is I put it in there Layla picked up all the iron and throw it in the cart to and we slowly started to push it back lucky after a bit some other miners helped us with our loud so we got to the top faster than I thought when we pushed the cart out almost everyone was watching and whispering to each other I picked up the red metal and a few other smaller paces I brought it to my area and I turned to everyone smiling the rest you all can have when they all heard that all hell broke loose people where pushing jumping and using there powers to be the first to get the stuff out of the cart Layla looked to me shaking her head seeing me chuckling I turned back to my forge I flicked my had and a green fire appeared in it I took my hammer and tongs out I put the tongs into the fire to warm a bit I placed my hammer on my anvil then I turned to the forge seeing if the coals were hot enough it needed a little more time so wall that was happening I picked up the red metal and broke it into pieces with the pickaxe when I turned back around I seen Layla there watching me wide-eyed what you still doing here dear I said chuckling go get cleaned up the rest I will handle she nodded and walked away saying ok dear good luck and she was gone I smiled looking into the fire saying let's make the anvil sing a two days passed like that I worked on Layla's new weapon wall Flare and Rocky prepare there people I didn't know what Slade or Layla did in these two days cuz I didn't leave the forge I slept and are there but on the third day I finished it I smiled and ran my hand along the bad where my hand passed runes appeared there was thousands of them most in Greek but there were some Norse runes to I hadn't learned Egyptian and there Runes but that was next on my list to learn the blade edge was bright red and got darker and darker red from the edge you could see lines and waves in the metal from my folding it so many times plus I mixed a few other metals in with it when you got closer to the geared the blade got serrated the geared was twisted light orange metal the handle and black leather with gold wire wrapped around it the pommel was just a gold triangle nothing crazy it was definitely a bastard sword it had a little longer blade then a normal bastard sword when I lifted it up many other smiths started to clap and cheer seeing the finished sword I smiled to them all nodding I pushed a button on the geared and it started to shrunk and turn into something else when it was done I held a red push pin I pocketed it and cleaned up my area after it was clean I walked out of the forge I nodded to some people on the way out who where smiths the same caliber or who could be as skilled as me with the right training I walked out of the shop which had a lot more weapons instead of that iron shit I seen which was good many of those weapons were made with the metal Layla and I mined I started to walk to Rocky house I had a huge smile on my face I could not wait to see Layla and Daisy wall I was walking I seen many people ready to battle plus I sawmany of them had cars full of their boxes I assumed it was their stuff I got to Rocky's house and opened the door and walked in there was no one there and there were boxes all around I shrugged and took a shower and put a clean set of clothes on from my saddle bags I opened a can of food I used my powers to heat the cane I started to eat it when the door opened and four people walked in it was Layla, Flare, Rocky and Slade Layla had Daisy in her hands he gotten a bigger he was about the size of a small dog Layla was saying it's a good thing too if Hunter and I didn't go mining we would not have but when she saw me she froze in the doorway I chuckled saying if you want some there's plenty and I took another bite from my food but before I could do anything else I was being hugged tightly, Daisy landed on my lap as Layla hugged me I smiled hugging her back saying I missed you to but please all of you sit and tell me what's been happening Slade, and Rocky walked in smiling and took a seat but Flare had a natural look on her face but her eyes said she felt relief they all sat down around me Layla pulled up a chair next to me Flare started first of all I want to thank you Hunter if you didn't bring back all of those metals from your time in the mine Layla told us you didn't have to but you did so I thank you I shrugged taking another bite from my food saying let no resource go to waste is what I think so it's no problem Rocky nodded saying as for anything else there hasn't been another attack for two days we think there planning something I shrugged saying probably not they just want to add more numbers in their ranks I bet that queen is laying eggs like crazy plus eating well Slade nodded its what I thought to but Flare thinks there's something more Flare glared at him but nodded saying yes y should they add more to there ranks they already got more then enough to win y should they need more when I heard this I slowly put down my spoon and looked up to her and an evil smile spread across my face Flare who says they're here to win Flare and Rocky looked confused think about it very carefully they trapped us we can't leave so they already have won but they haven't sent a message or anything they just kept attacking and wiggling down are people they don't want to win no they want to slotter us all Flare stood up yelling no I don't believe you y should they have a reason to kill us all they will gain nothing I rolled my eyes saying they will gain are deaths and if we die thin there will be no one to stop them from spreading there power you forget we ant just talking about a normal army but a army that won't listen or accept surrender they want are deaths in their eyes we are devils and they want nothing more then our heads on a pike and when they come and they will they will bring so many numbers that it won't be a battle no it will be a slotter and they will smile and laugh at our deaths I stood up and through my cane away I side looking up at the ceiling Flare sat back down in her chair trying to expat the facts Racky put his hand in hers and squeezed Flare stopped shaking and looked to him with love Rocky looked to me asking ok Hunter what should me do and when I turned to them the room got cold and dark my eyes were flowing but it wasn't gold but a bright green like Greek hellfire and in this fire you could see screaming faces and an evil smile spread across my face we fight them the same way as they do us if they think we are demons and creatures from hell they haven't seen anything yet we fight and kill them like they are monsters no mercy and no surrender if they think we are devils now then I can't wait to see there fear when they realize they haven't seen anything yet there's a fire in my chest and I plan on burning them down Layla got up and walked to me smiling and in her eyes where glowing blood red and I felt her blood lust I am with you hunter I smiled to her and I looked to the others Slade stood up nodding Rocky and Flare stood up still holding hand and Ricky said we are with you Hunter good I said get ready from battle they will be here tomorrow so rest as for you Layla you need to train with this and I pulled out the pin and pushed the button appearing in my hands was her sword when she seen the blade Layla was shocked and she want into a trance looking into the blade and like the blade could sense its masters eyes it started to glow red and the room got dark but unlike my darkness there was a blood red light and the smell of iron in the air and in Greek I said go and protect the one I love go to your master go, Slotter, sing in her hands and bave in the blood of your enemies I released the handle and like a bullet Slotter shot to Layla's hand Layla grasped the handle and spun around swinging the blade Slade, Rocky and Flare ducked down she spun all the way around till she got to me still swinging the blade I pulled out my switchblade and a curved dagger appeared in my left hand and I blocked it when are blades connected a shock wave of wind came from us shaking the whole house I looked down at Layla my eyes still glowing that bright green I looked into her glowing blood-red eyes saying you may be familiar with fire and the shadows but remember Layla and I appeared behind her whispering in her ear these is my home and I bit her ear playfully and before she could react I disappeared again laughing at the trap door Layla turned around swinging her sword behind her where I just was her face was red and flustered but when she hit nothing but air she turned to me hearing my laughter and in Greek she said only two words your dead I chuckled retorting back in Greek o really don't act like you didn't but before I could finish she lunged at me I rolled down the stairs laughing she didn't stop there she throw a blood red ball at me I simple moved to one side and disappearing and reappearing in the middle of the training ground that huge grin still on my face and in Greek I said come dear let's begin.
