Morning came in the Azraels and something unexpected happened.
Amelia is missing!
While everyone is busy trying to look for her everywhere I remained still in my room and simply called out my book of life to know her whereabouts.
And who could have predicted that on a whim she would run away to meet with Flourel?
Of course I would never know about her thoughts if she only had that thought while I was sleeping.
After one idea came in her head, not even a little of hesitation did come across her mind that she immediately packed her things and left the mansion without anyone knowing.
I knew that she's worried about Flourel since yesterday, but to think that she'll endanger herself without any second thought is unbelievable.
Well Amelia has always been a kind hearted child and she loves acting out before actually making up her mind.
She lets her emotions get the best of her that she's the most readable person to look at when compared to other ladies her age who knew how to hide their thoughts and feelings.
Well I already made the Stone tablet yesterday so I don't mind going out for awhile.
With a book and pen in my hand I headed to father's office and met with mother there as well.
The two of them looked at me in surprise since I rarely meet with them like this.
"I'll look for her" I simply said while looking at them with my expressionless face.
"What?" mother frowned and asked.
"I'll leave the mansion and look for her. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine" I said what I said not waiting for them to say anything.
Then I turn around and was about to leave when...
"Don't take a single step Remil Azrael" mother's furious tone behind me was heard.
For unknown reason my heart skipped a beat when she called out the entirety of my name.
"Yes, mother?" I asked while slowly looking back at her.
"You are staying here in the mansion, Remil. The knights are already looking for her you don't need to do anything" mother said as she approached me and held my hand.
She then tried to urge me to sit down and calm myself with a cup of tea so I shook my head not wanting to stay any longer.
"I'm serious mother" I said and looked at the both of them in the eyes.
"Darling can you say something to her?" mother frowned as she looked at father's way as if giving up because of my stubbornness.
Father not knowing what's happening sighed while massaging the bridge of his nose.
"Remmy, the knights are more than enough to find your sister so you don't have to worry and stay still okay?" father said with a warm smile on his face.
I bet he's thinking that I'm worried for Amelia's well-being as well... It's not like I'm worried about her.
Wait... Why am I even pursuing her? Am I actually worried?
Not knowing what I trully feel I think that it's much better to follow my own intuition for this. I have a hunch that it's much better for me to accompany my sibling.
"Father, mother. I really think that I need to follow her. As her twin I can tell that the knights will never be able to catch up to her" I said.
" "How do you know that?" " father and mother asked at the same time but both of them looked different.
Mother is frowning while thinking that I'm speaking nonsense while father looks amused.
"You already know that I'm not just a normal kid from the very beginning right?" I started and waited for their attention before I continued my lie.
"Ever since I'm a baby I also think that I'm not normal because I feel connected with the two Saintesses..."
Father and mother widen their eyes for a moment when they heard what I said then their turned into confusion and asking for me to go on and explain more so I nodded my head and continued.
"Even without anyone's knowledge I already know that there's two Saintesses from the very beginning because of this connection we have...I can sense where they are right now, what they're doing, feeling, and even what they're thinking. Currently Amelia is riding a carriage to head to the estate of Earl Minerva her goal is to go to the west border and possibly participate in the war along with Lady Flourel" I said.
Father and mother seemed fascinated with that fact but it was only a brief moment that they showed that feeling since the topic that Amelia might participate in the war finally sinked in their minds.
"If what you're saying is true then we should stop her" father said while mother looked worried as she agreed with father.
I shook my head sideways looking as if I already know everything.
"Amelia might not have the power of healing but she has the power of nature. If she's in the battlefield many monsters will be afraid to go near her. That's one of the reasons why a Saintess presence is needed in the battle against the monsters anyway. It's not just about healing the injured people but also to intimidate the monsters. Lady Flourel is suffering right now because she only has the power of healing while Amelia has the power of nature" I said.
Although the information I told them is important they did not look serious at all but more like proud.
I narrowed my eyes as if I'm asking why they're looking at me like that but they only coughed and nodded their head as if in understanding.
"Then I'll tell the knights to escort you"
"I have a feeling everything will be much better if I move a---"
"Remil, listen to your father" mother butted in.
I wanted to be stubborn more but I think mother is much more stubborn than me.
Right, didn't I have that kind of talent as well?
I grinned on the inside while looking horrified on the outside.
Thanks to mother's skills to know how to act properly in public despite being super lazy and I who inherited that ability to act and play with people's feelings---
"Amelia!" I shouted and stood up in a hurry.
Father and mother were both surprised with my action, without even knowing anything they seem to be able to tell that something happened to Amelia because of my reaction.
"Remil!!" I can hear mother's voice shouting from behind but I ignored her and stole one of the horses in the shed.
I haven't learned how to ride a horse yet and there's not even a saddle placed on it, but I rode it anyway.
Progenitors are basically a powerful being that most creatures like plants and animals would consider a god.
So without even doing anything the horse immediately knew what I'm feeling and followed my lead.
It didn't take awhile for me to ride the horse on my own and since I have a strong body, I don't even feel uncomfortable riding it without a saddle.
In the end it was the horse who get tired of running while I am still feeling fresh without any pain in my body.
I stretched after a long ride and looked around the first town that I encountered.
I just realized after a long while that I am still wearing an expensive looking dress, in the stories I read people like me are likely to be robbed in a place like this.
I sighed and called out my book of spell.
I might not die from stabbing because I'm immortal but I still think it will be a painful experience.
Might as well make a spell that will protect me...
I stayed still on a hidden place and started writing down on the spell book on what kind of spell it was.
It didn't took awhile since it seems like a spell that already existed in this world so I only need to put additional things to make it more different to the existing one.
Guardian is the 6th spell I created. It creates a shield around me to protect me from any physical and magical attacks.
It is different from other spells since I can decide how long it takes to protect me. The problem is that the waiting time will also be significant as well.
One day use of shield is equivalent to one week waitng time until another use.
So if I use the guardian for a week it will take at least a month and three weeks for me to wait so I can use them again.
I guess for now I'll use it for a month. It will take 7 months for me to be able to use it again but i don't think I'll even need to stay out for a whole month anyway.
