Mikoto drew his sword out and immediately cut down the humanoid monster's head with a swift slash much to the horror of the four other people, Rika Sato included. "Y-You just killed him!" Rika pointed out. "These things are not human, no need to feel sorry for them." Mikoto said as the ground began to rumble. The three who were not wearing the red suit tried opening their phones but there was no signal at all. "I am going to call the cops on you, murderer!" the old man said as he ran away from them. "I would not run that way if I were you." Mikoto uttered.
As the old man stepped too far away from them, his head exploded, splattering the innards of his head right on the ground. Rika was hyperventilating about now and was on the ground, petrified of what was happening. "Stand up, there is still one more." Mikoto said with a cold and lifeless expression on his face. The rumbling of the ground earlier was then revealed to be the work of an even larger monster. A much larger version of the three feet tall alien that Mikoto just decapitated earlier.
It had scaly skin as well as ears that were definitely fins. "Ocean…" he uttered as he screamed at the sight of the little one's death. "Here we go. If you do not wish to fight, at least stay out of my way." Mikoto said to the three remaining people still alive. Rika picked up herself slowly as she stood up. "I-I will fight." Mikoto nodded at her. "You know how to use a sword, right?" he asked her like it was the most common thing in the world to ask. "I did kendo practice with my brother frequently." Rika said as she breathed in and out. The huge fish monster rushed at them as Rika and Mikoto each went to the left and right path to dodge it. The other two were not so lucky, however. As they were trampled by the monster.
Rika could feel it, she felt that she was going to puke at the sight of all the deaths she has seen tonight. But she was oddly calm. Mikoto jolted forward and immediately immobilized the fish monster by cutting off one of its legs. Sending it into a frenzied scream. Rika wanted to go in as well but Mikoto stopped her. "Don't!" he warned her. But Rika was not listening, she was focused and was tunnel visioning at the target in front of her. Rika sliced up the monster's head, or at least tried to.
"Damn. Too shallow." Mikoto said as the katana swing was not strong enough to behead the monster. He had to clean up after her mistakes, if she was still even alive. The monster roared and slammed Rika against the ground, trampled on her body two times as Rika just closed her eyes. "Is this death? Have I died a second time?" she asked herself. After a slashing sound was heard, the monster had fallen flat on the ground. "Still alive?" Mikoto asked her. "Miraculously." She replied as she stared at her suit. "These are superhuman suits, think of them as armors that allow us to fight these monsters at an even level." Mikoto said.
