Chereads / My Zombie Game / Chapter 54 - Halloween.

Chapter 54 - Halloween.

Three people or to say two people could be seen running in the darkness with the green light moon illuminating the road for them.

Under normal circumstances, Nate did not need any light right now because he could see things brightly even without a light.

Being a zombie as a supernatural being has its advantages, and one of them is that their senses are now enhanced way ahead of that of a normal person. And Nate and Peter we're not an exception to this.

The two were running in the darkness so fast that although they had passed a few firearms people, they were not spotted.

Nate is still carrying Lyon on his back even though the former had demanded to be put down but Nate did not buy it this time and kept running.

Eventually, Nate and his mob found themselves in the woods but Nate did not think twice about stopping, as he kept speeding up the darkness.

While running through, Nate saw quite a lot of messages popping out in his holographic interface, but he ignored them.

While running in the woods, Nate spotted a light source from the distance, which he was currently heading to.

" Where exactly are we going, We should have gone with That V guy and his party" Lyon spoke out.

" I told you, a group that has such a weapon is dangerous. I can't imagine what they will possess in their base" Nate said while running.

He was talking while running and yet his speed was not slowing down a bit.

Lyon did not say anything as he held his chin with his hand while placing it on Nate's shoulder.

Meanwhile, Nate was looking around the bushes while running.

Since they got into the woods, there had been no sign of any zombies which means that either a creature that is superior to them is there or because they are in the woods woods are not a place one could say is highly populated.

So it is not a place one would also expect to see a large tide of zombies.

Being in the woods especially at night in an era where widely mutated beasts were everywhere is not safe... And Nate knows this, that is why he was currently heading for the source of light from a distance.

Slowly, Nate was getting closer to the light, and the more he got closer, the more he could see what was before him.

With his eyesight, Nate could see that further in front of him was not just any house with a light in it, but a town or something.

It was a large gate that was attracted to a wall that was quite tall in height. It was at the highest of a prison wall.

Right on the gate border of the town was a letter that was written there in big capital letters.

"Halloween"

'I have not heard of such a name.

'Such a name at a time like this does send me shivering, but too bad to me, it's nothing.

Getting closer, Nate finally spotted the main road leading to the town and he jumped into it.

Soon, he was standing in front of the main gate that had the word "Halloween" on it.

Looking at the surroundings, Nate could see a few corpses lying on the ground.

Some have their body half chaw with some also having their internal organs out of their body.

Seeing this made Lyon want to puke, but he found nothing coming out. He then used his hand to hold onto his nose while saying.

"Are you guys not preserving this smell also?" He asked because Nate was standing there without any emotion spotted on his face.

"We are not the same, Have you forgotten so early" Nate replied moving forward.

Lyon sighed and followed after.

Gating to the gate Nate found out that it was luck but he did not find that as any problem.

The gate was made entirely with a strong metal that covered the whole of its body. Even when Nate did this.

Bang!!!

He threw out his fist while mobilizing his power in his hand, yet he still got this in return.

[-5HP>>>120HP]

'You think you are tight right?'

Taking a few steps backwards, Nate arched himself as he kicked off the ground and went up to the gate with a sprint.

Getting closer, Nate leapt upward before using both legs to kick the door, bouncing himself out after.

Bang!!!

Nate was pushed backwards, and so was the gate.

Though at first, it looked like nothing happened, slowly after, they could see as the water started to fall towards the other side.

Boom!!!

The gate eventually collapses on the ground while throwing out dust that covers Nate and the rest of the view.

The dust did last for some time and Nate did not want to move yet till he could get a full picture of what was inside the town or its condition.

Soon, the dust settled and Nate and Lyon could now see what was inside.

What Nate saw was a sight he never expected. There were many tides of zombies that were wandering around.

The number was something Nate never expected.

But what was scarier was that out of nowhere a monster would suddenly appear and take a zombie.

And the worst case at this moment was that the loud bang of the door had made them the center of attention.

[Function>>> kill anything that tries killing you]

Nate did not waste time giving out a command to Peter, and then before looking at Lyon.

"At this moment, you have to get yourself to shape-shift, or else if that beast where to get to you, you might not have the time to transform before you turn into meat"

Nate said that, turning to the beast that was currently coming for him as he summoned the hammer.

"From the look of your approach, I might be forced to use this"

[14 point attributes]

"Five and five shares on strength and agility"

[Strength= 11>>>16]

[Agility= 11>>>16]

"Four on endurance"

[Endurance= 5>>>9]

By this time the bull-like beast was already in front of Nate and he thrust its head forward, intending to send Nate flying.

But Nate had swung the hammer way faster than the bull sending it flying to the side.

But he did not stop there, they were more beasts coming in different forms.

Nate looked back at Lyon who could see that vain was now popping out of his head as he was trying to force out his beast form.

'Try harder... Try harder'

Nate yelled in his mind as he focused on the beast that was coming to him.
