Chereads / My Zombie Game / Chapter 56 - Forger.

Chapter 56 - Forger.

It had been five days since Nate and the rest of his horde had met the cloaked man who helped them get out of the messy situation they found themselves in when coming into Halloween town.

Nate himself has learned a lot about the man and he also told me, man, some few things about them, except their current race and that Lyon was superhuman. Of course, he had continued with the second name or to say title he gave Peter... Hazard.

What he learned from the man was that he was called Jim and was one of the few people who lived in the small town of Halloween. They are also the fact that he claimed to be the only person currently alive in the town.

Jim was in the same age bracket as Lyon, just unlike Lyon who was kind of younger than his age which probably was due to his transition. Jigsaw had black long hair that almost touched his shoulder and was tall with a well-built body.

Nate had also learned that Jim was a weapon forger, who lived and sealed his products in the town since some of the people buy them because the whole of the Halloween town is an amusement park.

Jim, being a forger, was a piece of good news to Nate because he had a crystal that the system had stated could be used in making a weapon, but the only problem is how he was to get Jim to forge a weapon for him.

Regardless, he still thinks that it is something he should be happy about.

I have stayed with Jim for some time now, about five days. Jim had told Nate about the dangers in the Halloween town and how he could avoid them.

The whole of the town was an amusement park, which was pretty cool. Being so big also means that it will have many other things that were occupying the space of two or more villages in one.

Right now, Nate and Jim alone were currently heading towards a particular area of the town.

"I can't believe that this place is all considered as one park"

"Whoever built this must be mad" Nate commented as he swerved through the zombies while swinging the sword in his hand at them, most of them in one strike.

Though the zombies were not bothering him, he was currently standing beside a human that the zombies did not mind his presence, and if he were to start walking through the zombies, anyone who saw the scene of a human walking beside a zombie would surely be astonished, and this will surely bring a lot of questions that he does not have the answer, or he does not want to answer.

The sword in his hand was one of those that he had picked from Jim's workshop, we're Peter and Lyon we're now.

The sword was flexible and also strong in shape. It has a leather handle and it was light in Nate's hand despite the sharpness and strength.

Nate instantly fell in love with it the moment he came in contact with it and pivoted it a few times.

Meanwhile, Jim was holding a wood-cutting saw with one hand while with the other a cigarette and he sips here and there while he uses the saw to chop off the heads of the zombies.

The two are heading to the gas station.

Nate has been told by Jim that the strong beasts always come out at night to either feed on the zombies or themselves.

Nate took some days to observe this theory, and so far, what Jim said seems to be true, because in Jim's workshop, Nate would always come out to check out the situation and he would only see zombies with no other beasts.

"So why do you need the fuel this much?" Nate asked while killing off more zombies. Jim never told him what they were using the fuel for, though Nate could only think of one thing it would be used for, after staying in Jim's workshop for five days, Nate knew that they were nothing much more important than the latter would be using electric power to do.

The town of Halloween had long lost its power lines, so there were no sources of power energy in the town.

"That's because it helps in keeping the beasts out of my workshop"

Hearing this made it more clear for Nate to understand. And it also made him recall the source of light he saw when he was on the wood racing toward the town. But, it still left him confused.

"But, I thought it would be leading them straight to us instead?" Nate wasn't getting it.

"You are still a kid after all, and have no experience in the animal kingdom"

"Regardless, one must be naive about something for him or her to know that thing," Jim said with a smile.

Nate's face frowned at hearing him being called not only a naive person but someone who has no experience in the animal kingdom. But he still let Jim explain himself first.

"This amusement park has many things that you will never imagine,"

"In here, one could see a cinema, places one could chill out with its family or friends, they are also the museum, the last but not the least is the zoo, the main pain, and trouble of this place right now"

Nate's head started to think that the zoo was the main problem in Halloween town, it was then that his mind thought about evolution...

"If you are thinking of evolution... Yes you are right"

"Imagine a lion that is already considered as a deadly beast evolving, what disaster it would cause and more," Jim said.

By this time, there were no longer any zombies near, this gave the two some space to talk.

"The reason I need a steady power is because of those kinds of beasts"

"Light is something strange to them and when they notice a light source, they will try their best to stay away from it," Jim explained.

Nate nodded his head in understanding as they proceeded to the fuel station.

Soon, they reached the fuel station.

It was a green bungalow house that had four fuel pumps. In the area, Nate could see three zombies in green clothing that had the logo of the fuel station on their chests.

"It's a pity," Jim muttered as he walked into the compound of the station.

Just a couple of steps forward, the zombies charged toward him.

'What makes you two different from the others? Jim thought. 'Soon, I will get rid of you and the whole existence for killing my family

Meanwhile, the three scientists, we're forced to do something they never thought of or studied.

They were hammering onto two materials right now.

One is a metallic cowboy boot, with a one-armed gauntlet glove.

"We were forced to do this, but we have to or else, we might be kicked out of this place," one of the scientists said to the others.

"The worst part is that we have to forge a weapon, that's not our specialty" another chipped in with a complaint.

"But we have to do our best"

"Send a message to the boss. The two weapons are ready"
