The existence of superhumans was something that had been rumored way before the apocalypse broke out in most of the Earthlings.
Some of those who had known this beforehand were the governments and some other organizations that were big enough to compare with them.
Those organizations were underworld gangs, scientific explorers, and many more.
But with this kind of change happening on earth for the first time, the governments were doing their best to accumulate as much information as they could.
Things had been set in others, as many organizations had an interest in such things and were ready to purchase any product about the superhuman things that had been going around.
At the same time, there had been some rumors saying that a product would be launched very soon and one would be able to get his or her hand on a solution that could grant them to be superhumans.
Many rich people started storing as much wealth as they could to get their hands on one. Not knowing that a big thing was waiting for them in the future.
But even at that, they are people who could be said to be good at getting omens, people that can foresight the nearest future. Maybe, because they are one of the lucky ones that had awakened the superpower or it was just a natural gift.
Those people had started seeking shelter and more and any other material things one needs to survive.
They believe that if such a scientific breakthrough were to happen, there must be some backlash coming from it.
One of those people is Jackson, one of the old men who was currently sitting before V, Ron, and Tony.
Mini was sleeping on her mother's arm who was also present in the room with the old men.
One had long white hair that was tied in a ponytail, while the other was called Albert. He has flat gray hair which was out of old age.
They are now in the room for questioning.
V, Ron, and Tony were kneeling in front of the two men with their heads bending slightly out of embarrassment.
"Just why would you take her out there to hunt, honestly I don't have a problem with you guys going out for hunting, but not taking her!" Lily could not stop herself from yelling out.
"I told you guys, that girls have a spiritual power, no one can say no to her if she asks for anything" Tony mumbled in a low tone.
"Do you still believe that such things even exist?" Jackson said.
"Yeah if those stupid superhumans do exist, then why aren't they helping out in this catastrophic situation in the world"
"No one has heard from the governments all those while" Albert chipped in.
Fire seemed to light up on Lily's head as she yelled.
"Why are you guys trying to change the topic here, they need to be published right"
Jackson could only shake his head as he stood up from the small seat that he was sitting on.
"Though they did do wrong, you and I know that it's not their fault," Jackson said walking towards Lily and placing his hand on the sleeping Mini's hair and combing them.
"All we have to do now is to focus on surviving. Don't know anything about this superhuman thing whether or not they exist or not, but let's just hope things get better" With that said, Jackson was ready to leave the room.
But then, V said something that caught everyone's attention.
"Maybe, they do exist and we have one among us" muttered, still kneeling.
"What are you talking about?" Albert asked in a way that made it seem stupid what V was saying.
"I met one not just long ago" V stood up and said.
Jackson went back to his seat again as he was ready to hear V out.
Meanwhile, Lily had a frowning face though, but she was also listening.
V starts to narrate what he had seen and heard from the event that he and Ron barely escaped.
The thing is that V had been conscious enough to watch the fight between Nate and the praying mantis while he was playing to be unconscious.
He honestly wanted to help, but what Nate had just demonstrated was beyond his image, till Nate killed the beast, V was aware of all this.
Just when he thought he had seen it all, Peter and Lyon who were still in his beast shape came into the scene and he saw how Nate had to communicate with Lyon who was still in his beast form like it was a normal sight for one to see a talking animal.
Well, he became more shocked and scared when Nate helped Lyons to transform back to normal, and he recognized the person right away as Lyon. This left a huge amount of fear in him that when thinking of approaching them, he could not stop the hot water that was streaming down his pants.
V had peed on himself then.
After narrating everything to the others, they all felt like V had gone nuts except for Tony who also has his part of the story to tell...
"Have you lost your mind from the attack or something? A teenager fighting a mutated beast is hilarious to tell." Albert said while laughing.
Everyone felt like this might be the case, that V had lost his mind. But this was till someone else spoke out.
"He might be right. I have seen a fight between teenage and adults called Lyon"
Tony speaks out. This gave V hope till Ron came crushing them down.
"You are already nuts...so I'm not surprised that you will be believing in such things," Ron said, which Tony wanted to punch him.
"They are not lying... Uncle Lyon was strong and Brother Hazard was also so strong that they kicked the beast's ass. Mini's voice sounded from her mother's shoulder.
She had been awake from the yelling of her mother.
Hearing this from a third person kind of made the whole room silent.
"Wait... If they are strong enough to kick the beast's ass, then why did you come running back to the base to call for help?" Albert asked.
"That is because another beast with long claws, red skin and was even slightly bigger than the one before came out"
Hearing Tony's response, V's eyes widened.
"That is not any ordinary beast, that was Lyon if your description matches up," V said.
"So you guys are trying to convince us that they are truly superhumans out there, and you met one unknowingly," Jackson asked.
"What else do you want to hear... Ron did not know because he was fast asleep after being sent to the moon by the first beasts, but I'm telling you, the hazard of a guy and Nate are still teenagers" Tony said. Though he could see the sharp glance he was getting from Ron.
"I don't know how much of a truth this is, but I still suggest you guys should run a brain test, after that, then we can decide if we should believe what you guys are saying or not"
With that said, Jackson stood up and walked out of the room. Followed by Albert who had taken Mini from Lily and went off.
"Now you guys, don't forget you still have to be punished for putting my daughter's life in the line of all this," Lily said and walked out also.
"She's also my daughter" muttered V.
