"It depends on whether or not I can afford your help?" Natalye repeated Leon's words in a voice clearly indicating she refused to believe what she just heard and said herself. "Money, money, and once again, money," she muttered, shaking her head in disbelief. "Is there anything you won't do for it?"
'Is she trying to insult me?' Leon thought, raising one of his eyebrows. He then swallowed his pride and presented the girl with a relaxed smile.
"A man has to eat," he said, turning around and decisively moving into the forest.
'If she doesn't want to pay, it's her loss,' he thought, shrugging as he walked between the trees. 'Finally,' he then silently breathed out a sigh of relief. 'I thought I would never be able to ditch...'
"Spoken like a true mercenary," Natalye said, following right into Leon's footsteps. "Are you one by chance?" she then asked, hurrying herself up a little only to catch up with Leon and walk right by his side.
