"Miss!" the young and surprisingly athletic-looking deserted called out. "I can't agree to this!"
He had his spear pointed right at Leon's stomach, an obvious sign of a reason which part of the current plan he was dissatisfied with.
'That was unexpectedly expected,' Leon thought, openly allowing a smirk to appear on his lips. He then turned his eyes to Natalye's face. 'How will you react to this, I wonder?'
This wasn't part of the deal. And it was up to the girl's shoulder to decide how to get out of this mess.
After all, what was the point of getting Leon to help if she couldn't even get the deceived recruits to actually accept the bloodmancer's help?
"Sure thing, then," Natalye said, turning around on her heel. She then crossed her arms on her chest and stared daggers at the young man. "Since you don't want my help," she squinted her eyes, "then I will just leave!"
In an instant, the entire group of people that approached the two of them froze in their place.
