She stood there for a while still dumbstruck about what just happened. He was still a pervert and still flirted with her. She wondered why.
He's the prince of a whole country and so she didn't expect him to be so perverted and flirty.
"He knows how to make me nervous." She said. She shook her head and walked to her hotel room. She headed straight for bed when she entered the room.
On the other hand. Achilles entered his room with a smile on his face. He didn't take the time to admire the room and lay on the bed. He kept smiling to himself like an idiot.
"Kristen Kael," he said out loud. He didn't want to think too much about her. After all, he had his parents to think about. They must be fuming right now. They had no idea he had left and they're probably having the Palace torn down just to find him.
He didn't care though. He said he wouldn't get married so he didn't care. He was about to stand up when his phone rang. It was Zale.
"Yeah?" Achilles said. "You have to come back." Zale sounded worried.
"Zale I'm not coming back." " But you have to. Your parents are so mad." "I don't care. Tell them that I'm not coming back until they give me their word that I can choose who I marry." "Achilles this is not the time to be stubborn. They're threatening to take my job away if I don't find you so please come back." Achilles suddenly sat up.
"They wouldn't dare," he said. "They seemed pretty serious Achilles. Please come back." Zale found himself begging. Achilles knew very well that he couldn't lose his assistant who was also his best friend.
"Alright I'm on my way." he hung up and headed for the door. He rushed out of the hotel without any warning. The man behind the desk was confused to see him running out of the hotel.
Achilles was very angry at this point. Why would his parents do that? Just because he wouldn't get married to someone. He quickly made his way back to the Palace. It wasn't that far from the hotel considering he walked there.
Finally, he was there.
The two double doors opened as he approached it. All eyes fell on him when he arrived. His hair was a mess. It was all over his face and he was sweating and breathing heavily. He looked even hotter like that. He was still in the black and white outfit he had on and he was looking so unreal. He looked so amazing that any woman would faint if they saw him.
He caught his breath and started to walk forward. With every step he took, he looked so godly. He approached his parents and asked, "Where's Zale?" His parents looked at him with disbelief.
"Look at how everyone is staring at you. You look like a mess Achilles. Go change your clothes." His father said. "Where's Zale first?" Achilles persisted.
"He's up in your room." His father replied
Achilles rushed up to his room. He saw Zale seated on his bed. Zale stood up when he saw Achilles.
"You're here," Zale said. "Of course." Achilles walked forward and hugged Zale. It was the first time in a while they hugged each other. After pulling away from the hug, Zale placed his hand on the shoulder and said. "Now you need to get dressed." Achilles sighed but nodded his head.
He put on a blue and black outfit with a cape and black boots to complete the outfit's look.
He sat down while Zale fixed his hair. When he was done, he put some gold chains across his chest and finally, he gently put a golden crown with diamonds embedded in them on his head. And with that, he was all dressed up. He looked stunning, gorgeous, exquisite, and godly. Those words were an understatement when it came to describing his looks.
"Ready?" Zale asked. "It's not like I have a choice," Achilles responded. "So yes?" "Yes."
They both headed to the ballroom. When they reached the stairs, all eyes fell on them. People began to bow as they both descended the stairs. All the women present were drooling over him.
He was just so attractive and women couldn't help but simp over him. They were extremely jealous that he was getting married.
When they both descended, Zale left his side after bowing to him and his parents.
"Achilles, meet King Azureus and his beautiful daughter Princess Harmonia." His father said. Achilles turned and bowed. "It's nice to meet your acquaintance your Majesty." King Azureus smiled. "Pleasure is all mine," replied he. "And pleased to meet you Princess." he took her hand and kissed it. Ever since childhood, he's been taught to greet Princesses like that.
She blushed and replied. "Pleased to meet you too." Achilles tried his best and smiled at her.
"Why don't we give the kids time to spend with each other? Try to get to know each other." King Azureus proposed. "That's a wonderful idea. You too, go upstairs and have a chat."
Achilles looked hesitant but he ended up going upstairs with her.
...
"So, what are your hobbies?" she asked as the silence between them was deafening. Achilles thought it was the most boring question to ask but he answered anyway.
"I like to travel." " Oh so how many countries have you been to?" She kept going.
"Sixty-two." "Wow. that's impressive." " Thank you. What about you?" "Um, I like to read and play the harp." Achilles nodded his head which seemed a little dismissing.
"So... do you like me?" She asked. Achilles didn't know how to answer. "To be completely honest with you, I don't wanna marry you," he said. "Why? Did I do something?" "No it's not you, it's me. You're beautiful and you seem like a nice and genuine person but I don't wanna marry you," he explained to her. She began to tear up a little. He noticed and quickly said, "Please don't cry. I... please don't cry." "Why don't you wanna marry me?" She asked.
"I... I'm sorry but I just don't wanna marry you."
