"Hey!" A soldier yelled, screaming into the girls' cell. "Wake the hell up, red hair!" The soldier continued yelling.
"I'm up." Kure said, in an annoyed tone.
"Hey, don't talk to me with that tone, kid." The soldier said, intensely, as spit flew from his mouth. Kure just looked at the man, staring into his eyes with blood lust, but not showing it on her face, she wanted to see if he could sense it. "You have five minutes to get moving, then they'll be here to escort you, red hair." The soldier said, before he left.
"As I thought..." Kure mumbled.
"What is it that you thought?" Polly asked, bobbing her head left and right.
"These soldiers are a joke, can't even sense blood lust when it looks them in the eye." Kure said, sounding bothered. "If only we could use our abilities, any of us could destroy these idiots." Kure continued, exaggerating a little.
"There isn't much that we can do, and causing trouble would likely end bad, it's better to just do what they say and wait for Daddy." Peki said, joining the conversation.
"Yes, I agree completely." Polly said, seemingly unbothered by everything going on.
"Yeah... I guess you're right, just pisses me off, this whole stupid situation!" Kure said, getting louder as she talked.
"I do not find 'stupid' to be the correct word, but I believe peculiar to be more accurate." Polly said, beginning to think out loud, for whoever may be interested. "I am quite unsure why we were brought here, my first thought was it has something to do with Zeus, or perhaps one of the Gods, but it seems like it may be more than just that." Polly continued, trying to understand their situation.
"Indeed, I have also given it some thought, but I'm not exactly sure. Perhaps we'll never know, perhaps we will, we can only wait it out, unless we wanna cause trouble... but I'd rather not." Peki said, adding her own thoughts onto Polly's.
"Ugh, who freakin' cares why we're here?" Niku said, hopping off of one of the uncomfortable beds. "I... just wanna go home..." Niku continued, sounding a lot quieter than usual.
"There is no home to go back to." Leia said, with a tear in her eye.
"What?" Kure asked, wondering exactly what she meant.
"Your Earth is gone." Leia said, holding back more tears.
"How the hell would you even, like, know? Our Hotel room is gone, sure, but we can still-" Niku said, as Leia cut her off.
"Your Earth is destroyed!" Leia shouted, trying to make them understand. The others, aside from Kumo, looked over to join the conversation.
"How do you know this?" Peki asked, trying to understand.
"...That ability... Rainbow Factory..." Leia said, realizing more about what happened, as she held her mouth and stopped holding back her tears.
"Ugh! What about it!?" Niku shouted, growing impatient.
"...Basically, it will drop bombs from the rainbow, eventually, once enough lives are taken, the rainbow will begin to spin, becoming able to take more lives, and the more lives it takes the faster it spins, the more bombs dropped, and more destructive the bombs are." Leia said, trying to get ahold of herself to explain.
"And how come you're JUST NOW telling us!?" Niku shouted, as she walked up to Leia.
"I didn't want to believe it at the time... And I didn't want to think about that horrifying ability, so I ignore my own knowledge of it..." Leia said, starting to shake.
"How do you know of this ability?" Peki asked, trying to learn more.
"It was in one of the history books that Poseidon would let me read. The user, Sugar High, is apparently working with Zeus for some reason."
"I see... How did this 'Sugar High' get an ability, and one so powerful? I understand that our kind is always born with an ability, though we don't find out until we realize what we are." Peki asked, wanting as much information as possible.
"The same way that we all have our abilities, though a little different." Leia said, pausing to wipe her eyes to remove her tears.
"Wait, you know why we all have abilities?" Muma asked, feeling like she may be the only one who doesn't know.
"Yes, I do." Leia said, nodding her head. "Do you guys not know how we all gained our abilities?" Leia asked, looking at everyone with a confused face.
"Obviously not!" Niku shouted, feeling frustrated that Leia hasn't said it yet.
"Well, they're curses, it's like a curse on our whole species, one from Zeus himself. It's all just random curses, they could be anything, a cute jack o' lantern friend, or simply that you can't swim, maybe even that air is poison to you." Leia said, trying to give examples.
"...So... our abilities are just a curse?" Niku asked, though she was more talking to herself, trying to help herself realize.
"Wait... why didn't he just... have every curse kill us?" Kutsuyo asked, feeling that'd make more sense.
"That would be smart, but he probably wanted to have fun with it, he thinks that nothing can beat him, especially not something of his own creation." Leia said, feeling sick as she thinks of how other Gods think.
"Hey! The one with the braided hair, quit your crying or I'll give you something to cry about!" A different soldier yelled, as he walked up to the cell.
"Guess it's time..." Kure said, quietly.
"Hey, good luck. I'm sorry that I'm rude to you, just bothers me what you did to Utsu." Niku said, trying to be nice.
"Yeah... I'm not exactly proud of what I did... But thanks." Kure said, as she stood up.
"Good, you're already getting up." The soldier said, as he looked onto the wall next to the bars and messed with something. "Nobody else comes out, only little red!" The soldier shouted, Utsu froze still as his voice echoed.
'Little red...? That's new.' Kure thought, as she walked out if their cell.
"Good." The soldier said, before the bars closed.
"So-" Kure began to speak but was immediately interrupted my the soldier.
"Don't talk, I'll speak to you, do not talk back unless I say so." The soldier said, beginning to walk back the way he came. "Come on." The soldier said, telling her to follow. Kure followed, silently and angerly.
'I'll hopefully be able to get some anger out with this fight...' Kure thought, beginning to think of how good it will feel to swing her knife again.
The soldier and Kure walk into a room, there's lots of weapons everywhere, some look familiar, such as Niku's metal pole and Kure's knife, but the others must be from different prisoners.
"Take yours, and go through that room. Once you hear your name continue down the hallway. Got it?" The soldier said, as he pulled out a key.
"Yes." Kure said, holding back the urge to kill him as soon as her hands are free.
"Good" The soldier said, as he unlocked the cuffs on Kure.
'That feels much better!' Kure thought, as she began to feel excited.
"Go nuts." The soldier said, as he left the room.
"Ah, I've missed you!" Kure said, with excitement, as she picked up her knife. "Alright, I'm gonna kill this gladiator, or whatever they are." Kure said, as she walked through the door that the soldier told her to.
"Good evening, everyone!" A voice on a loud speaker said, sounding excited. "Today's match up is Tony Chappa, a gladiator from a location in the Milky Way, as he called it. He has a reputation for challenging everyone he comes across, and not accepting 'no' as an answer." The voice continued, explaining who'll be fighting. People in the seats of the stadium cheered and screamed loudly. "And here he is! Gladiator Tony Chappa!" The voice shouted, giving emphasis on Tony's name. A gladiator, Tony walked out if the tunnel on one side if the stadium, he wore very little, but he had on a short cloth to cover his waist that went down to his thighs, silver armor on his chest and shoulders, and a helmet to match. Tony walked in bare foot, and carried a short sword with a small shield on his back. "This newbie is definitely intimidating, at least for a newbie! So maybe this fight won't be so bad!" The voice said, still sounding excited and loud. "But we've got another newbie here, her name is Kure, an average, young girl with a peculiar ability! Here she comes now!" Kure walks out of the tunnel opposite to Tony's, she has her typical outfit, but with the addition of an excited but scary smile written on her face. "By 'young' I didn't think they meant a child! But maybe she's a real monster! Either way this is definitely an interesting match up!" The voice said, trying to make the fight more exciting than it is.
'This'll be easy, his neck is wide open... but just in case...' Kure thought, as she walked through the arena, walking on the sand and past rocks, growing closer to Tony.
'A little girl? Wouldn't my first time with a kid... though I didn't like it very much. Oh well, this'll be easy.' Tony thought, as he too walked on the sand, growing closer to Kure.
"Everyone ready!? The fights about to begin! Grab your snacks and take your seats quickly, or you'll miss the fight!" The voice shouted, being overly excited.
"Man, a little girl and a gladiator? You said this would be cool, dude." A Goblin said, sitting next to a Dwarf.
"It'll be good, I put it on my beau'iful beard!" The Dwarf said, stroking his brown beard.
"What's the girl gonna do? Tickle him to death?" The Goblin said, sarcastically.
"Maybe, we'll just have to find out." The Dwarf said, before he drank from a wooden mug, getting his drink throughout his beard.
"Who'll make the first move?!" The voice said, ready to say everything he sees with too much emphasis.
Kure picked up her knife from her boot, and threw it at Tony, aiming for his neck. The knife flew fast, but not fast enough, as Tony blocked it with his sword. "Oh! Would you look at that?! Kure threw her knife, but it was no match for this gladiator! His training is too good for a trick like that, for sure!" The voice said, explaining what happened with some commentary.
'That was her only weapon... This girl's definitely an amateur at best, though she's got an arm, and that knife is pretty sharp, almost scratched my sword.' Tony thought, moving closer to Kure. Kure began to turn left as she walked closer, she stared at Tony as she turned, Tony watched her, and continued to her, walking past her knife that layed on the ground.
"What is the little girl going to do?! Is this the end already?!" The voice said, still being overly excited.
'I need him in position... I need to move over more...' Kure thought, as she moved around more.
"What's your plan, girl? You're defenseless, you can't do anything, just give up and let me end you quickly, a child's screams aren't exactly something I'd like to hear." Tony said, trying to show mercy. "Just show me your index finger, that's all I need and I'll finish you quickly." Tony continued, as the two keeo moving. Kure ignored Tony as she focused on her plan.
'...Now!' Kure thought, signaling to herself. Kure reached out her hand, infront of Tony.
'Does she have a spell or something?' Tony thought, as he walked right up to her, almost towering over Kure.
Suddenly, blood started to drip from his helmet, coming from his mouth. "Wh-What?" Tony muttered, as he felt his stomach with his left hand. As he brought his hand up to his helmet, he saw his fingers stained with blood. Tony put his hand down, and looked down at Kure, who held a bloody knife. "Huh, interesting." Tony said, as he readied his arm.
Kure's eyes widened, and fear went down her spine 'It didn't hurt him?!' Kure thought, not understanding how her plan failed. Tony swung his blade at Kure, she ducked out of instinct, and then jumped at Tony, knocking him down with a loud clank as his armor hit the ground.
"I don't believe it! The knife came flying through the backside of Tony! But he's fine!" The voice shouted, as Kure ducked and jumped on Tony.
Kure made a slight growling sound, and sliced Tony's neck open, causing blood to spray out, going right above Kure, though some did drop on her. Tony sat up and pushed Kure off of him, he picked his sword back up and swang at where he pushed Kure to, though to his surprise, she was gone.
"What the hell is happening?! Hos throat is wide open, it's as if he's immortal!" The announcer's voice said, louder than before.
'Where'd this kid go?' Tony thought, as he coughed up blood and looked around. Kure jumped on Tony's back, though it was difficult to stay on with the shield in the way. "What the? Where'd you come from, you stupid brat?" Tony asked, as he tried to shake her off, though it sounded like a lot of gurgling.
"I was behind the rock, dumbass!" Kure shouted, as she used one hand to hold onto Tony and the other to take off Tony's helmet, but Tony tripped and fell on his back, his helmet flew off and he landing on Kure.
"AAAHHH!!!" Kure screamed as he crushed her, and she coughed up blood. "Get off of meee!" Kure shouted, as she grabbed Tony's upper jaw with her right hand and lower jaw with her left and pulled with more strength than she's ever used before, causing his jaw to crack and skin to tear and rip. Tony flailed his arms to try and reach Kure, but his armor was in the way, causing him to continue flailing, helplessly. "Just dieeee!!!" Kure screamed, as she put even more force into her arms, and then his jaw split off, Kure thought for sure, at that moment, she'd killed him, but Kure saw Tony's eyes roll back to look at her, Kure squirmed to get out from under Tony but she couldn't manage, her stomach and under was completely hidden and stuck. She desperately tried to get out, and began crying in fear, since this man will not die. Tony sat up, and Kure was freed, she crawled a few inches away, and tried to stand, it hurt her a lot but she managed. 'What the hell is with this guy?! H-He doesn't even feel this!' Kure thought, trying to explain it to herself.
'None of this has hurt me... it doesn't hurt at all, it was scary at first... but now I understand, I must be immortal!' Tony thought, feeling like he's a God. Kure summoned her knife to her hand, desperately wanting something to defend herself, she began breathing heavily in fear and realization that she can't win, she started to cry a little more. Tony stood up, and picked up his sword. He turned around, and started to walk towards Kure, his jaw dangling from his skull, as blood poured from his destroyed mouth. 'I've been having trouble breathing... But that doesn't matter to a God! A-And my vision... is getting blurry, and thoughts... fuzzy...' Tony thought, as he stumbled his way closer to Kure. Kure looked at him with fear, but before she could act, he collapsed right in front of her.
"...I don't know what happened..." The voice said, quietly. Everyone that watched was completely silent, no one made even a gasp. Kure fell to her knees, and eventually fell further to the ground and curled into a ball, she began to cry, which quickly turned into wailing and screaming as she switched between holding her head, and being curled in a ball.
"WWWOOOOO!!!" The spectators screamed, they were all excited to see such gore, they had no care for the crying girl.
"Ladies, gentlemen, and whatever the hell else! That was wayyy more incredible than expected!!!" The voice shouted, in genuine excitement.
A soldier walked onto the arena, and made his way to Kure who's still crying. "Get up." The soldier said, as he looked down at her. Kure ignored him and kept crying. The soldier took her knife off the ground, then grabbed Kure by the hair and dragged her back to the tunnel that she came out of while the spectators still cheered.
