"What?" Nancy asked as she stuck her head between the doors. With her arms folded across her chest.
"Nan, I don't have any cash. Can you borrow it for the fare? I promise I'll pay for it later." While talking, Oliver looked to his right and left because he was lazy if he had to deal with Adelia once again under these circumstances.
"Don't have any cash or do you really not have any money?" Nancy mocked with her arms folded across her chest.
"Yes. It's like that. Hurry up and borrow some money first, the motorbike taxi is already waiting out front," Oliver urged impatiently.
"How rude of you. On the other hand, you're going straight for the jugular. I think it's true what mom said earlier. You're just here to live...."
Oliver looked at Nancy with a bitter look. Because the money in his ATM could run out due to Nancy's actions.
While continuing to grumble, Nancy pulled out a one hundred thousand note and held it out to Oliver.
Oliver quickly snatched the money from Nancy's hand before his sister-in-law changed her mind.
"Okay. Thanks." Oliver left at a fast pace because the motorcycle taxi he ordered had been waiting for quite a while.
At the same time, in the room of an apartment, Andrew was lying with a compress over his eye that was swollen from Oliver's fist last night.
With one healthy eye, Andrew was scrolling through his phone screen, trying to find information about Oliver's past.
He was very curious. Who Oliver really was.
Because the man he considered trash could easily take out five of his mercenaries.
But, no matter how much Andrew searched, he couldn't find any information about Oliver's past or curriculum vitae.
However, one small piece of information that Andrew did manage to get made him very happy that morning. It was the fact that Carla was still a virgin.
That meant Oliver had never slept with the wife he had been married to for several years.
Andrew smiled triumphantly at that fact.
With full enthusiasm, Andrew got out of bed and prepared to go to his appointment with Marklov. The most feared hitman in all of London.
Thirty minutes later, Andrew was in a restaurant with Marklov sitting across from him.
Marklov, with his face full of scars and knife cuts, seemed to enjoy the breakfast menu in front of him.
Andrew, meanwhile, had been looking down at his plate.
He was really horrified to see Marklov's face, which looked terrible.
'It's not like a human face.' Andrew whispered in his heart.
Indeed, at first glance, Marklov's face looked like the bark of a pine tree. Rough and striped like there was dried mud stuck to his face.
Marklov laughed loudly and raised his face to look at Andrew. "So how much are you willing to pay, young man?"
With a voice trembling with horror, Andrew answered with his face still down. "One hundred million, brother."
"Yuck!" Marklov spat on the table.
Oh my gosh. This guy was really violent. Andrew was horrified and regretted that he had dealt with a horror man like this.
"Sorry, Brother." Andrew said in a squeaky voice.
"You dare to call me from retirement with only one hundred million? Just find someone else."
"How much do you want?"
"You don't know who I am yet, do you?"
"I know, Brother. I was once attacked by a squad of soldiers, but I managed to escape and beat them all up," Andrew said with his face still down.
"How many people are in a squad? Do you know?"
"Ten people, brother."
"That's what you know." Marklov reached for the photo of Oliver on the table and assessed it. "For taking the life of the young man in this photo. I want five hundred million."
Marklov threw Oliver's photo back on the table.
Andrew became indecisive. He was afraid to step back, but if he stepped forward, he had to be ready to lose five hundred million.
"What do you say? Do you want it?" Marklov snapped while banging on the dining table.
"Ye... yesss, Brother." Andrew reached out to shake Marklov's hand in agreement.
"Well, then." Marklov welcomed Andrew's hand.
Meanwhile, at work, Oliver had just finished the first task Grace had given him. In just half an hour, Oliver had managed to complete the task from Grace.
The excel-based filing was Oliver's specialty. So it was easy for him to get everything done.
While waiting for his lunch break, Oliver played a game on the computer. Occasionally he glanced at Bella, whose face was looking glum this morning.
"What's wrong with you?" Oliver asked kindly.
"It's nothing." Bella said without lifting her face.
"Do you have a problem? Just tell me. Who knows, I can help. We're coworkers now," Oliver said sympathetically.
He knew very well that there was a big problem weighing on Bella right now. So, her face looked as gloomy as a cloudy sky.
At this point, Grace suddenly came into the room and was immediately angry to see Oliver playing a game during work hours.
Grace walked over to Oliver's desk and immediately unplugged Oliver's computer.
"What's wrong, Ma'am?" Oliver asked, shocked that his computer had suddenly shut down.
"What's wrong... what's wrong. You're really testing my patience, Oliver. It's still working hours. Instead, you're playing games. I'm going to penalize you. I will cut your salary by 30% this month!"
