Chapter 22 - Watch out if you peek!

Before Oliver could finish his astonishment, the back door of the car opened again and came out two more men who were just as big as the other two.

The four men surrounded Oliver.

Oliver looked at the faces of the men surrounding him one by one and evaluated them.

Years of occupying the position of war general in the Red Dragon Clan had made Oliver mature in unequal battles like this.

The four men, who appeared to be mercenaries, charged forward and tried to beat Oliver up.

However, Oliver was more alert.

He nimbly dodged attack after attack from the opponents who were ganging up on him.

Facing four people at once, Oliver had no choice but to adopt a defensive strategy while occasionally launching counterattacks.

Before his position as War General, Oliver had undergone training with the young troops of the Red Dragon Clan.

The new recruits were put into a cage of hungry bears. The trainers threw food into the cage, and the young troops had to fight with the hungry bears for food. Although the training experience almost cost him his life, it gave Oliver valuable experience in self-defense.

This time, when he had to fight four men at once, Oliver seemed to be able to easily control the fight.

One by one, the big men who had no idea where they came from began to fall.

Their bodies littered the sidewalk.

Terrified, they all got up and tried to run away.

However, Oliver quickly grabbed the leg of one of the men whose head had no hair at all.

The man's head was shiny and reflected the sunlight.

Oliver slammed the man's body to the ground and crushed his chest with his knees.

"Who are you?" Oliver asked harshly as he pressed his knee into the man's bald-headed chest.

Oliver's face looked horrible. It was a face that had given all the enemies of the Red Dragon Clan nightmares.

There was nothing left of the modest and innocent face that Oliver had shown as he lived his life as the son-in-law of the Harvey Family.

The bald-headed man's face was flushed with fear as if he had seen the angel of death.

"Mercy ...." the man squeaked as he struggled to break free from Oliver's grasp because his three friends had disappeared somewhere.

"I'll let you go if you tell me who told you to do all this?" Oliver growled again as he added pressure to his opponent's chest.

"Ma... Marklov ...." said the man with the bald head with a gasp.

"Marklov?" Oliver asked to make sure he hadn't heard wrong.

"Yes. Marklov. Now please let me go." the man whimpered in Oliver's arms with a pleading face.

True to his word, Oliver lifted his knee off his opponent's chest.

Like a crab, the bald-headed man rolled to the side and crawled away from Oliver before fleeing after his friends, who had already fled.

Oliver rose to his feet. He shook the dust off his shirt and pants with his hands.

"Marklov ...." Oliver whispered softly.

A familiar name in the UK underworld.

Although he had never been in direct contact with Marklov because they were of different generations, the legendary stories about Marklov had also reached Oliver's ears.

When Oliver first joined the Red Dragon Clan, the legendary villain Marklov had already retired.

Oliver couldn't figure out what was wrong with Marklov suddenly coming out of retirement and targeting him.

He kept thinking about it on the way to work.

Because he was thinking too much about Marklov, Oliver didn't realize that he had arrived back at the office.

Oliver got off the motorcycle taxi and shook his head repeatedly to get rid of the thoughts of Marklov in his head.

He put on his plain, unpretentious Oliver face to replace the murderous aura that had flared up inside him due to the attack of Marklov's men.

Oliver walked into his room and was greeted by Bella, who looked moping.

Bella's normally bright and confident face was clouded with dark clouds.

"Hi. Had lunch yet?" Oliver greeted as he stopped in front of Bella's desk.

"I have. Uh, Mrs. Grace is waiting for you in her room," Bella replied briefly without looking at Oliver.

In fact, it was obvious that Bella was trying to avoid Oliver's gaze.

"What's wrong with you, Bella? What's wrong? Tell me about it," Oliver said sympathetically.

"It's okay. Hurry up, Mrs. Grace is waiting for you. Otherwise, she'll get angry again."

Bella got up from her chair. She pulled Oliver up and pushed him towards Grace's room.

Oliver clumsily entered Grace's room.

"Afternoon, ma'am. Did you call me?" Oliver asked a little less confidently because Grace had been finding fault with him lately.

"Yes, that's right. Sit down first, sit down. You're not busy, are you?" Grace said as her hands were busy taking out teabags from the box.

Oliver sat on an empty chair in front of Grace's desk, but his eyes never once left Grace, whose movements looked suspicious in front of the dispenser.

"Let's have a cup of tea first," Grace said suddenly in a friendly voice.

"No, ma'am. I already drank earlier."

"It's okay, I just want to have a cup of tea. Please accompany me. I've made some tea for you."

"It's okay if Ms. Grace insists. Hehe."

"Do you like sweet?" Grace asked again.

"No, ma'am. I don't need sugar." While remaining unconcerned, Oliver continued to watch Grace's hand gestures.

Soon Grace turned around and brought two cups of tea to the table.

"Today I have a meeting with an American client. Please accompany me. I'll introduce you to them, it will be good for your career in the future." Grace placed one of the cups of tea in front of Oliver.

"Thank you, ma'am."

"Yes. Let's drink the tea first." Grace placed the cup in front of her chair and went to the window to close the curtains.

Oliver took the opportunity to exchange his cup with Grace's.

Experience had taught Oliver to always be wary of his boss.

Grace sat down in her chair, grabbing the tea cup Oliver had exchanged without suspecting a thing.

From his seat, Oliver watched Grace drinking tea from the cup with her pinky sticking out.

So that Grace wouldn't get suspicious, Oliver also grabbed the cup in front of him and drank its contents.

Oliver knew very well that Grace had put something in the cup of tea she had made for him.

Fortunately, Grace didn't realize that the cup had been swapped.

While enjoying the warm tea, Grace told Oliver about the American client she was going to introduce him to.

"Okay, it's time for us to go. The location is quite far too." Grace put her empty tea cup on the saucer.

Grace took the car keys out of the drawer and held them out to Oliver. "You go first. Take my car from the basement parking lot. I'll wait in the lobby. You can drive, right?"

"Yes, ma'am." Oliver picked up the car keys on the table and left.

As he walked out of the room, Oliver glanced at the trash can next to the dispenser.

What?

Oliver was shocked to see a striking blue laxative packet in the bin.

He remembered the contents of the blue packet that Grace had poured into the teacup.

Ahh... it's a good thing he swapped the cup. There was no shame in this person. Feel the weapon eat the master.

Oliver was both annoyed and impatient to see the reaction of the laxative that Grace had taken.

Oliver drove the car to pick up Grace, who was waiting for him in the office lobby.

They both went to the Watford area to meet a client, as Grace had told him.

Throughout the trip, Grace looked very nervous. Every once in a while, she turned her head and looked deeply at Oliver as if she couldn't wait for something to happen to him.

She looked at him so often that Oliver was afraid she might sprain a vein in her neck.

But what she was waiting for never came.

Oliver smiled to himself and continued to drive as if he had no idea that Grace was trying to play a trick on him.

'Damn. How come he seems to be fine. Not the slightest sign of stomach pain,' Grace cursed inwardly.

After a while, Grace fidgeted in her chair as if she was sitting on porcupine quills.

Cold sweat began to break out on her body as the terrible heartburn hit her stomach mercilessly.

"What's wrong, Ma'am?" Oliver asked as Grace's agitation seemed to be getting out of hand.

"Ouch... Oliver... my stomach hurts. If there is a public toilet, please stop for a while ...." whimpered Grace while holding her stomach.

"Yes, ma'am."

But no matter how far they drove, all they could see were rice fields and shrubs.

Then suddenly ....

'Dhuuuttttt ....!'

Grace farted very loudly. Oliver could feel the vibration caused by Grace's fart.

"Oliver ... I can't take it anymore ...." whimpered Grace with a pale face.

Oliver stopped the car and drove over to the bushes under a shady tree.

He got out and opened the door for Grace.

"Why did you stop here?" Grace asked, confused.

"You said you couldn't stand it anymore? Instead of getting the car dirty, right?" Oliver said while looking at the bushes on the side of the road.

"Then you told me to defecate in the middle of a rice field like this?" Grace asked with a shocked face.

"What else can I do, ma'am. It's an emergency. There's a small river down there."

"I don't want to. I'm afraid of snakes." Grace seemed to bite her lower lip to resist the urge in her lower body.

"Don't you like snakes?" Oliver teased with an innocent face.

Oliver. Even in that state, he still had time to tease Grace.

'Dhuttttttt!'

The sound of farting came again. This time it was much louder than the previous one.

Oliver immediately went away to avoid the natural poisonous gas attack produced by Grace.

"Watch out if you peek!" Grace got out of the car and staggered towards the bushes.
