Although the information from Nancy was still unclear, one thing was certain: her sister-in-law needed him. Oliver immediately went to the —UOL-University of London campus—where Nancy was studying.
Although Nancy was often mean to him, Oliver remembered that this morning Nancy had been willing to help him and lend him money for the fare. In addition, he could not remain silent if there were people around him who asked for help.
When Oliver arrived at Nancy's college, unfortunately, he was barred from entering by the gate guard on the grounds that Oliver was a stranger.
"My sister is studying here, sir. And right now, she needs my help," Oliver tried to negotiate with the guard.
"Sorry, sir. This is a regulation. Strangers are not allowed to enter. If anything happens, for example if something is lost, I'll be the one who has to take responsibility," the guard said while playing with his cell phone.
"Besides, there's no family of students on this campus who come by motorcycle taxi. This is an expensive campus, sir. No student's family would take a motorcycle taxi like you!" he continued.
Oliver's hands clenched into fists. He wanted to kick this guy's ass!
Honk!
The sound of a loud car horn startled them both.
The campus guard looked back. A black car pulled up behind the gate. A moment later, the glass beside the steering wheel opened. Jack poked her head out the window.
"You slack-jawed guard! Open the door quickly!" Jack shouted, angry.
At the same time, the rear window of the car opened. A young woman whose face was familiar to Oliver poked her head out of the window with a panicked look on her face.
The woman's hair looked disheveled.
'Tisha?' Oliver thought, shocked at the condition of his sister-in-law's friend.
"No, Dad, don't open the door! That jerk Jack wants to take me to the hotel. Please help me! Daddy hurry up and help me!" Tisha called out frantically from the back window of Jack's car.
Panicked, the campus guard quickly went through the guardhouse and approached Jack's car. He still hadn't opened the gate.
Jack continued to honk her deafening car horn.
"Where are you taking my child, Mr. Jack? Please don't do anything to my child, Sir!" The college guard pleaded after running hurriedly over to Jack's car.
Apparently, Tisha was the guard's daughter. Oliver, who was still stuck outside, was still reading the situation.
Inside, the campus guard was standing in front of Jack, pleading for Tisha's release. He who had looked authoritative earlier now looked pitiful. Oliver sympathized with him.
"Stay out of this! Hurry up and open the gate!"
Thump!
Jack punched the campus guard in the chest, and the middle-aged man fell to the ground.
"Dad!" Tisha screamed in panic as her father fell to the ground.
Oliver was still watching everything that happened from behind the black glass of the security post. With his position, Jack and his gang couldn't see him.
The side door of Jack's car opened. One of Jack's friends got out and approached the guard.
The boy stepped on the guard's neck, making him gasp for air.
Unconcerned about the middle-aged man who was dying of asphyxiation, Jack's friend seemed busy rummaging through the guard's pockets to find the key to the gate.
Oliver was furious. This could no longer be tolerated!
Oliver jumped into the campus through the back door of the guardhouse just as the guard had done earlier. He ran fast without sound, lunging at his friend Jack's back until the young man's body fell to the side.
The guard was panting and rubbing his chest.
"Are you okay?" Oliver helped the middle-aged man to his feet.
"Heh! This trashy son-in-law again! Why are you always meddling in people's business!" Jack seemed to have forgotten that he had been beaten up by Oliver a few nights ago.
At the back of the car, Tisha was still struggling with Jack's two friends holding her.
Still crouched beside the campus guard, Oliver turned to Jack.
"What did you say?" he asked.
"Trashy son-in-law! Son-in-law! You're just living in the Harvey family's house. Don't be a hero...."
Jack didn't have time to finish her sentence when Oliver moved quickly to grab Jack by the neck and smashed the young boy's head against the edge of the car door.
"Arggghhhhhh!"
Jack roared in pain. Fresh blood seemed to be pouring out of his nose.
"What did you say? Say it again!" Oliver snapped.
"Fuck!" cursed Jack with a bloodied nose.
At this point, a silver car stopped behind Jack's car. The sound of the car horn made Oliver and Jack turn their heads.
They saw a beautiful woman dressed in a formal suit get out of the car and quickly run toward them.
"What's all this about?" asked the young woman, who looked very authoritative.
Her gaze shifted from the campus guard lying on the ground to Jack's bloodied face.
"What is it, sir?" she asked the guard.
Stammering, the guard, explained that Jack and his friends wanted to kidnap his daughter. The woman immediately frowned.
Lydia, the woman, was the Chancellor of the UOL Campus.
"Lies! Don't believe him, ma'am. This old man seems to have gone senile!" Jack argued while wiping the blood off his face.
"Shut up, Jack! Let Tisha go right now! All of you come to my room!"
Lydia seemed to think for a moment, then she looked at Oliver, a stranger to her.
"You're coming to my room too," she said.
Tisha jumped out of the car and quickly took her father to the campus clinic after thanking Oliver and Lydia.
Meanwhile, Oliver, Jack, as well as the rest of his gang were gathered in separate rooms. Jack and his friends were in one room. Oliver was alone in the next room.
Lydia interrogated Jack and his gang friends first.
"Jack, explain what happened? Why was there a commotion with that stranger in the campus area?" Lydia asked while looking at their faces one by one.
"It wasn't me, ma'am. That obscure human started it first, ma'am. He just suddenly attacked me," Jack began to twist the facts.
His friends nodded, agreeing with Jack's account like parrots.
"But Mr. Ralph said you wanted to kidnap Tisha," Lydia said with a sharp look at Jack.
Mr. Ralph was the campus guard, Tisha's father.
"Uh... sorry, ma'am. Why don't we take the peaceful route?"
"What kind of peace do you mean?" Lydia's eyes widened suspiciously.
"The man in the next room is Nancy's brother-in-law, ma'am. Hmmm... so here goes. I'll give Ms. Lydia a new car, if you'll let us go and pretend none of this ever happened," Jack joked with a sly face full of tricks.
"That's it?"
"And one more."
A big smile spread across Jack's face as Lydia seemed interested in his offer.
"What?"
"I want Nancy and Tisha fired from campus. Then the man in the next room is reported to the police for assault," Jack whispered maliciously.
Lydia paused for a moment, thinking about Jack's tempting offer. She remembered her car, which had been in the shop several times. And she knew that Jack's parents were wealthy.
"Okay. I'll think about your offer. In the meantime, please leave this room."
Lydia left Jack's gang and went to the next room where Oliver was waiting.
Oliver turned his head awkwardly when Lydia entered the room. For some reason, Oliver felt that this woman's arrival did not bring good news for him.
"Good afternoon. First, I'd like to know what you're here for?" Lydia asked in a formal tone.
"I am, Oliver Maxton. My sister-in-law studies here ...."
Oliver explained everything in a firm and confident voice because what he said was exactly what happened.
"So, Mr. Oliver is accusing my students of being troublemakers and picking fights?" asked Lydia sharply.
"Eee... that's not what I meant, ma'am."
"Alright then. Then Jack is right that Mr. Oliver started the fight," Lydia broke in arbitrarily.
Oliver was stunned. He hadn't expected it to come to this.
Lydia got up from her chair.
"I will report Mr. Oliver to the police...."
Suddenly, Lydia winced in pain. Her face seemed to contort in pain while her hand pressed against the top of her stomach.
Reflexively, Oliver supported Lydia's body, which seemed on the verge of collapse.
Sweat was pouring down Lydia's forehead. Oliver picked Lydia up and sat her back on the chair.
"Awhh... it really hurts ...." Lydia whimpered as she continued to massage her upper abdomen.
"Ma'am, calm down. Don't panic. Take a deep breath. Let me get you a drink," Oliver said softly as his brain raced to find a way to do something to ease Lydia's pain.
Lydia took a deep breath, taking Oliver's advice. For some reason, she felt that this man she was seeing for the first time didn't have the slightest ill will towards her.
Oliver came back with a glass of water for Lydia.
"Drink first, ma'am."
Lydia took a sip of water and looked a little better.
"Thank you. Sorry for the trouble."
Lydia placed her used glass on the table. She looked at Oliver for a moment. She really didn't feel any threat from Oliver.
"Does your stomach hurt a lot?" asked Oliver sympathetically.
"Ah, no. But it does hurt sometimes. It feels like being stabbed by a nail."
"Can I check your palm?"
Lydia frowned. But she extended her right hand to Oliver.
Oliver examined Lydia's right hand, looking as earnest as if he were a doctor.
"I'm sorry, ma'am. Let me ask you a question. Do you like wearing bikinis? Maybe you like going to the beach?" Oliver asked.
At first, Lydia seemed disturbed when she heard the word "bikini" come out of Oliver's tongue, but since she didn't see the suspicious look in Oliver's eyes, she quickly stopped thinking about it.
"Yes. Not bad. Why?" Lydia asked.
"That means you work out regularly to keep your body in shape, right? Do you work out every day?"
"I do too. Well... 5 to 7 days a week. So what?"
Oliver nodded. His expression showed that he now knew the cause of Lydia's pain.
"Ma'am, you work out too much. It's bad for your health," Oliver said.
"Oh yeah? You mean... what's happening now because of that?" asked Lydia, frowning.
Oliver nodded again, this time with a smile.
Then he did something to Lydia's right hand and made her wince in pain, but afterward she felt a little better.
Lydia looked at Oliver, wondering what had just happened.
"You're... a healer, aren't you?" she asked.
Oliver smiled.
"No, ma'am. It's just that I know a bit about nerve and deep tissue massage," Oliver corrected.
After saying that, Oliver massaged certain points on Lydia's palms and between her fingers. Lydia occasionally winced again, but afterward she felt better.
'He's lying. He must be a healer,' Lydia thought, watching Oliver's face.
Oliver let go of Lydia's hand. Lydia tried to move her hand, and indeed she felt something different.
"What's wrong with me? Is it bad?" Lydia asked as Oliver finished examining her hand.
"No, ma'am. It's actually not that bad. But, if it continues, it will be very disturbing."
Oliver took a breath.
"One part of your colon is twisted. It might be due to a mis-motion or lifting too much weight. The twisted colon must be straightened out. Otherwise, you could get sick at any time without any definite cause," Oliver said later at length.
Lydia was dumbfounded. She had suspected that Oliver was a healer but had never expected to hear such a detailed explanation of her illness.
Now she suspected Oliver was not just a doctor but a genius doctor.
"Can you fix it?" asked Lydia. Now she had faith in Oliver.
"I can. Do you have wind oil or something like that?" asked Oliver.
"There is. I have this," Lydia replied.
She pulled out a drawer and took out a bottle of wind oil.
"Okay. Please take off your clothes, ma'am. I'll wash my hands first."
Oliver went out of the room to the sink next to the door. He didn't see the funny change of expression on Lydia's face.
Misinterpreting Oliver's request, she now took off her blazer and blouse. She was surprised to hear Oliver's request, but if it was for healing purposes, it was fine with her if she had to do it.
And now, she took off her 38-cup pink bra she was wearing.
When Oliver returned from washing his hands, he was pleasantly surprised.
Standing with her back to him, Lydia looked like a delicious cake. Her smooth neck, her beautiful back.
Oliver was instantly thirsty.
