As I had expected, the effects of All-mana body effects dropped gradually. It has been 2 months since my stats have increased. Not only that, but this skill also hasn't leveled up even after about two years. Previously I did not have skill points to see if I could level it up, but I have a feeling that even if I did, it would not increase in level. This would make it too easy even for me to increase my strength. The laws of this world already reject it, if I keep doing something like that, then sooner or later, this world will start rejecting me. Among the books, I read there was about everything in this world. I made sure to not miss any single detail. The Kingdom of Carenheim is located on the west of the western Continent of the world of Astoria. The kingdom is directly connected to the Forest of beasts. Beasts in this world are a reason for terror for the denizens. But they are also treasure troves for many. Many resources can be obtained from them as they are magically enhanced beasts. They have something called beast core which can increase the stats of a person. Cores of strength, agility, and magic are common among them. Their meat is also very valuable. While some beast meat is toxic, many types of beast meat are not and can increase one's magic power. Their bones, hide and organs can be used for making weapons with special effects. One good example would be the dagger I got earlier.
Now that is not all. The forest itself is infested with high mana power so many useful herbs can create things called potions that grow here. Portions can be of different types, but they are all valuable as their ingredients are very precious as well. And the forest of beasts is filled with them.
This kingdom being blessed like this is what caused the war 54 years ago. The Kingdom of Elusha and the Kingdom of Victor are the two kingdoms that are barren inland. While the first one is a kingdom of the desert, the second one is a kingdom of dry land. To these two kingdoms, the Carenheim kingdom which was fertile with a high concentration of mana from the Forest of beasts was like a dreamland. And soon their dream turned into their ambition and that ambition then turned into a nightmare.
These two kingdoms are connected to the borders of the Carenheim kingdom. Elusha kingdom is located on the north of this continent while the Victor kingdom is on the south side. The last kingdom is called the kingdom of Ibelin. This kingdom is directly connected to the sea and is a trade hub for all the other kingdoms on the continent. In history, there has never been a war over this land because it does not have many resources to offer. The only plus point about this kingdom is its trade hubs. Because of it, it is rich. Since it is rich, it possesses an army numbering in the thousands.
In the middle of all of this, is located the Astral Church. Two thousand years ago, the ancestors of the four kingdoms came to settle down on this continent. The first ones to come were naturally the Carenheims. They greedily tried to hold onto the whole continent but then others came, and they had no choice but to be pushed back to this area. This turned out to be a blessing for them though. Then, over the thousand years, the kingdoms settled themselves. Many came after that, but they could not make their hold on this continent. After a thousand years, came the followers of Astoria. They wanted to establish a church on this continent. To not incur the wrath of the goddess Astoria, all four kingdoms emptied out some space in the middle for them to set their roots.
It did not take much time for the Church to become a superpower on the Continent. Many Nobles and commoners became followers of the Church. Naturally, after a few hundred years, the church took on the role of being a mediator between the kingdoms. I personally believed them to be opportunists. There had been many wars on this continent after that, yet they only interfered when one side was winning. They didn't interfere when people were dying on the battlefields. While many said many different reasons in the books, I reached an entirely different conclusion. They did so to further firm their trust in the kingdoms and a hidden motive was to weaken the kingdoms.
The church is a religious organization. They don't have mighty armies. So, the next best thing was to gain mighty followers, and that they did. And now they are a superpower that even all kingdoms combined cannot defy. And now it seems that it is being wary of the new generations of the Revstein family.
While Noah is a firm believer in Astoria, his descendants are not. It is only a matter of time before Noah steps down and a new leader of the Revstein family steps up. I think they are using the Carenheim Royal family and the Heriaz family to weaken or at least gain leverage on the Revstein family when things don't go their way. I know that they can't afford to anger Noah, as Noah is the believer of the Goddess, not the church, so they are unsure of what he might do in his anger.
I am sure they must have many plans in order to deal with this family such as using public masses, but this is the only reason they are not going to use it. As long as Noah is around, no one is fool enough to do something against the Revstein family. Even the Heraiz family is only causing minor problems in my mother's territory. If for some reason, Joseph lost his mind, they can use the kingdom laws but if things get out of hand and if Noah got involved then their only hope would be the Church.

Hah… you don't have to tell me that. It does not make me happy to figure out the problems I will be facing soon enough. Because the leverage and weakness I have deducted are none other than me. And now I have to deal with all of these headaches myself.
