1st person Pov:
[Sufficient exp has been gained]
[Level up]
[You are now level 10]
Finally, I finally reached level 10. What should have been a smooth journey with help of Carla, became a lot more difficult when I was no longer at the age of drinking milk. When I started speaking at the age of about two years, she cut my milk supply in half and started feeding me meat and vegetables. And after a few months, she completely stopped. I was still at the eighth level then. I still had two more levels to go. This was a problem for me, so I had to resort to embarrassing things, such as, '"Does mother not love me anymore?" with teary eyes.' This melted Carla's heart to some extent, and I could drink her drink for a bit longer.
Even then it took too long for me to reach my goal. Granted I cannot do much as a baby but still, it is quite frustrating when there is nothing you can do about your goal even if you know how to reach it. I will turn three years old in two days. Even Carla has started to show hesitation in letting me drink her milk. It's a good thing that I reached my goal before that.
Reaching level ten, the system went through some changes. Its main interface had another category known as "Inventory". I did not know what this function did, and I had no time to check it as more notifications showed up. Its merge function also unlocked which I also didn't know what it did, so I left it for later. Next showed up the message of shop unlock. At the start, its description said that I can buy various things from it. I will check it later. The next that showed up was the task complete message.
[Main quest complete]
[Gaining strength part 1
You are now in a new world, but your soul is of the previous one. New laws do not mean you have to mold yourself according to them. Strength is needed to live according to the way of the 'Angel of Kunlun'
Task: reach level 10
Time limit: none
Reward: (1) 1x d-grade weapon (2) 10 stat points (3) 3 skill points (4) A random skill
Punishments: none]
[1x D-grade Flame dagger
Made from mixing bones and marrow of a flame lion.
Effects:
Attack +10
Strength +2
Additional effect: Flame damage with every strike. The effect would diminish on higher-level targets]
[Flame Dagger has been sent to inventory]
Ho... a weapon, is it? A dagger at that. I have not used dagger much so my proficiency with it is quite low. And seeing that it is a D-rank dagger, higher level proficiency is not required anyways. The basic dagger arts I have knowledge of are enough. Weapons are categorized into 10 stages beginning from F-rank to Divine rank. From the knowledge I have gathered, a D-rank weapon is not a big deal but for now, it will do as I can't be completely defenseless. It's been sent to the inventory so does it mean that I can store things in inventory?
[Skill 'stun' has been granted]
[Skill Stun: Level max
Depending on the user's level, the skill can stun a target for 10 seconds. Skill's effect would diminish on higher-level targets. On lower-level targets than the user, the skill can deliver some amount of damage depending on how applied.
Cost: 10mp 1 stun]
A skill. Something that did not exist in Kunlun. I can feel colorful particles in the air. These particles represent the mana energy of their respective color. Red for fire, blue for water, yellow for earth, green for air, dark for darkness, light for holy and light elements, and light blue for lightning. Depending on that order, skill stun must utilize light blue particles. But there is just one problem here. And it is that, for some reason, I cannot store these particles of element inside my body. The mana I have inside of me is colorless. A mage or a knight needs to have an affinity with an element to utilize such an element. I, however, don't have any.
At first, I was worried that I can't do anything like that, but now I have to revise my theory. It's the system. I think that with the help of the system, I am able to utilize all elements. I still don't know if that is the case or not, but I will check it later. For now, let's see what else did I get.
[10 stat points have been granted]
[3 skill points have been granted]
Sweet. I did not put any stats of leveling up in any stat, so I now have the whole 25 stat points. My skill points are only 7 though.
[A new Stat has been added to the user's status]
[Luck: 30]
[With luck stat, the user has a higher chance of picking up drop items. Events happening would also depend on luck and higher luck can turn things in your favor.]
[Luck stat is a stat that goes against the laws of the world]
[A restriction has been placed]
[The user can only increase luck stat by one for 3 stat points]
What is this? Isn't it too great? Luck is not something I need to understand by a description. It's an omnipotent power. Something no one should have control over. No wonder it goes against the law. If I have high luck, I can even avoid death. Restrictions being placed are not surprising. What surprises me is that the restriction is too lenient. A power that goes against the natural order is not something someone should possess. Not that anyone can. Yet the restrictions are too small. The only factor I can think of is the system. Once again, I have to wonder about this existence. An existence that can go against the laws of the world, something no other thing can defy. Yet those laws are meaningless in front of it. What does that make it then? Isn't it even beyond a divine existence?
