Chapter Five
.
Blair Virgo
"Perfect uniform?".
"Check, ma'am". Vanessa replied looking at my wear.
"My amazing presence?".
"Check!".
I smiled hearing that. "And what else?".
"Your charming personality".
"Its a check on that!".
Ugh! I can't believe I'm starting a new school today. Though Marigold High is one of the biggest, richest school in Florida.
"I bet you are going to make a lot of friends at your new school, ma'am ". Vanessa says.
"Of course, who wouldn't want to be friends with someone like me?! They will all be begging for my attention!".
"How sure are you? I mean, its not__".
"Are you trying to say I'm exaggerating?".
"No, ma'am". She replied bowing her head a little.
"Good. You don't talk when I'm talking".
"Yes, ma'am".
"And get out of my room, you make me sick".
She hurriedly left the room and I scoffed checking myself out in the mirror again.
I smacked my lips together one last time before grabbing my expensive backpack slanging it over my shoulder.
I take my phone just as a call comes in and I see its from Jaxx.
"Good morning, love". He speaks once as I answer the call.
"Jaxx!".
"Don't you think its time I get a sweet name too?".
"Really?". I laugh slightly stepping out of my room.
"I'm serious".
"Alright, Jaxx. I'll think about it".
"Okay, Love. Do you want me to come pick you up ?".
I pause right in my tracks as I remembered that I didn't tell him that I changed schools.
"Um, Jaxx! I don't think I'll resume today, well you see ... My Dad got me to change schools and thats it ".
"What?".
"Yeah and he did without my consent. I'm so sorry, Jaxx. I forgot to tell you".
"Oh, don't worry, love. We'll sort this out".
"Okay, Jaxx. Call me later, Bye".
I hang up the call before he can those words that are too sentimental for me.
"Good-morning!". The bodyguards at my Dad's room door greets.
"Where's my Dad?".
They both exchange looks before looking back at me.
"Can't you speak?". I yelled at them. "I just asked a question".
"He's at the dining room".
"Bunch of nincompoops". I mutter walking away.
I sigh puffing out a deep breath as I flipped my hair backwards getting to the dining.
I got there and noticed him speaking to his two assistants, Vanessa, who was in my room not quite long ago and Vera.
"Dad!". I draw out a chair sitting opposite him.
"Angel, as you can see, I'm busy".
"Well that can wait, Dad. We need to talk".
"If this is about your school then I'm not changing my mind, you are attending Mari-gold and thats final".
I pouted cutely. "But Daddy!".
"The uniform fits you perfectly, Angel". He looked at me. "And I'm sure you won't be to cause trouble at this your new school".
I groaned. "Ugh! I hate the school already. I don't need to attend this Marigold, Dad, I'm the school president back in Ivy Royals".
"Angel, stop complaining. We are going to get you registered in Marigold High now".

Zane Charming
My aunt and uncle's constant arguments rang out downstairs. Their voices felt like it was knocking the whole building down.
I'm pretty sure the bodyguards are scared too.
I sigh and gave myself one last look in the mirror brushing my hair back before I step out of my room.
Shouts could be heard followed by shatters of glasses as well. Then incessant noises.
I'm used to all of it. They quarrel everyday at home but in public, they act like a sweet couple just for the media and not to taint their image.
"Good morning". I say stepping down the stairs.
They both stopped immediately and aunt glared at my uncle before storming off. He did same walking out through the entrance.
For a while, I just stood there wondering what went wrong with their marriage.
Sometimes, I wonder if getting married to each other was a mistake.
I shrugged those depressing thoughts out of my mind and headed towards the kitchen when I stopped feeling a sharp pain under the sole of my shoe.
I sat on a nearby couch immediately and I raise my leg only to see a broken piece of glass there almost piercing into my shoe.
I took my shoes off quickly inspecting my foot carefully and breathed out in relief after noticing that it was only a small cut.
Thank goodness. I'm going to be fine.
"Zane?".
I look up to see Chicago coming down the stairs dressed up already. Her halter neck too matched the color blue of her eyes and the flowing white skirt fitted perfectly.
"You never cease to amaze me your style of dressing, Sis". I cracked staring at her.
"Just shut up". She looked around. "What happened here! Why is the place looking rugged?".
"The usual happened!".
"They fought again?". She asked as her lips fumbled lightly.
"Chicago ... ".
"I'm fine".
I watched her quietly while she pulled out a handkerchief from her bag dabbing at the tears threatening to roll down her cheeks.
"You sure you are okay? Or should I bring a duvet for you to wipe your tears?". I asked teasing her.
She paused and threw the handkerchief at me while I laughed.
"Oh for goodness sake, I'm off to school".
I laugh the more as she sidestepped the broken rugged glasses on the tiled floors walking away from me.
I stood up as well cleaning my feet then changed into another available footwear.
The maids will clean up the mess later.
"Chicago?".
I stepped out of the main house and went to the garage to meet Arthur there already with his parked car.
"Dude!". I went over to him sharing a secret handshake. "Why you here?".
"To see someone special early in the morning". He replied glancing at my sister.
"Bro! Thanks but I'm not gay ". I joked.
"Ugh! Like I'd tap your ass anyways". He looked at Chicago again. "Right, Chic?".
"Stop calling me that". She whined. "Its Chicago or just call me Zeya".
"But you love me calling you chic".
I didn't miss the gleam my sister had in her eyes as she talked with Arthur.
Hm! Something fishy is going on here. But whatever it is, there's no way I'm letting my twin sister date my best-friend.

Blair Virgo
I sighted the principal's office and stepped in. The secretary by the pathway stood up on seeing me but I walked past her going in the main door.
The principal, a sturdy, tall man was on a phone call and I assumed he was talking about me.
"Yes, Governor Novoa. She's here already".
I watched him as he disconnected the call and faced me with a smile on his face.
"Miss Blair Virgo, its a pleasure__".
"Just give me my schedule. Thats what I cane for, not to exchange pleasantries". I say cutting him off dryly.
"Here it is".
I took the sheet of paper he handed over to me and then scanned my eyes all over it.
"Have a nice day, Miss".
"Don't I get a school map? Or you literally just forgot about that!".
"The school's president is going to show you around".
"The school's president? I'm not a baby!".
"I'm sorry, Miss but thats it. Welcome to Marigold High, Zane Charming will show you around".
I nodded turning around to leave the office rolling my eyes at the secretary. I stopped outside and thought of what he said.
Wait! Did he just say Zane Charming? The same Zane whose party I screwed up?
"If it isn't Blair Virgo".
I pause hearing that familiar voice and then see him few meters away from me. I ran my eyes over his muscular body.
"Done eye-raping me yet?".
I chuckle lightly. "No! I just need a few more minutes".
"Really?". He walked closer to me. "I know you did that in my party".
I smile remembering it. "Got my gift?".
"Yeah. How nice. But I also have a gift for you as well and its no heartwarming to find out you school here now".
"What gift are you talking about?". I asked him confusedly.
He moved closer to me while I stepped backwards feeling intimated by his stride over mine.
He stopped right in his tracks and reached out to touch my cheeks with his fingers and then brought his face close to mine.
I close my eyes feeling his hot breath fan against my face just as his lips brush mine, and then I closed my eyes expecting him to kiss me.
I heard a snicker and opened my eyes to see him with an amused expression.
What the hell? I thought he was about to kiss me.
"Welcome to Marigold High". He winked at me walking off slowly. "Blair Virgo".
