Chapter Eleven: it's a bet

Blair Virgo
"You keep saying nothing, huh? What the heck didn't you want me to see back there ? Blair, whats going on? Or can't I have a kiss from my girlfriend again?".
"Jaxx ... I ... ". I trailed not knowing what to say.
"Its him, right? The other guy, the mother-fucker?". He grabs hold of my arm pressing it tightly. "Who the fuck is he?".
"Its nobody". I whine feeling pained. "You are hurting me, Jaxx".
He stops as if realizing it then sighs before taking my hand into his again but this time, more gently.
"I'm sorry, love. I don't know what came over me". He apologizes immediately.
He's saying sorry?
Even though I hate to admit it, I'm the one at fault but there's no way I'm saying that.
"Am I forgiven?". He asks further kissing the back of my palm softly.
Oh Geez! I have the sweetest boyfriend ever.
Yeah! I do! Which means I need to stop thinking about that jerk who calls himself Zane Charming.
Ugh! And to think he almost destroyed my relationship.
"You are forgiven, Jaxx". I replied loving the way he stared at me lovingly.
"I'm really sorry, Love. But I just hate to think of the fact that you would rather kiss another guy than me".
"But I won't". I lied.

Oh Blair! When will you stop?!
"Okay, fine, I believe you. But I won't take it lightly with you if I find out that all this means nothing to you, that I mean nothing to you".
I gulped nervously. "What? Jaxx, you do mean something to me".
"I really am in love with you, Blair".
"And I love you too ". I replied him with all sincerity this time.
He smiled. "You know our relationship will be two years in a month's time".
Two years in a month's time?!
Wow! Someone has been keeping record of time.
"So I intend to celebrate it with you". Jaxx continued. "We could throw a big bash, I know you love throwing lively parties".
"I don't just love throwing parties, I am the life of the party". I bragged to him.
He chuckled. "Now this is why I love you".
"But you do know that I'll need to get a lot of things ready before the party".
"I know. I booked the Swedish company for you, you can throw the party of your dream and I'll fund the cost".
I gasped. "Really, Jaxx?. You are such a sweetheart".
"I don't want to be a sweetheart!! I want to be the fucking love of your life!!". He yells with so much force as I step back startled by the sudden intensity.
He sighed and let go of me walking away, I watch surprised as he leaves without one word.
Okay. Whats up with him?

Please don't tell me that Jaxx Monroe is obsessed with me because it looks like so.
I sighed and turned back heading to the drinks counter again and met Ana looking at least, better than before.
"Ana". I took a swig of her bottle gulping it all down.
She smiled. "Blair. You having a good time here?".
"Yeah, I think". I looked around and then sighted Ivy dancing with some guy.
"She has been all over him since we came in". Ana said looking at Ivy too. "He seems to fe into her though".
"Seems like she's into the guy too".
Ana scoffed. "Pass! Ivy is only dancing with him to get her mind off you and your hot boyfriend, Jaxx".
"Are you drunk?". I asked taking a look at her.
"I'm serious here, Blair. Ivy has the hots for Jaxx and she has been all over him since you left Ivy Royals".
"What?". I asked surprised. "Are you sure of what you are saying, Ana?".
"She always manages to talk about Jaxx when she's with you, I notice her eyeing Jaxx all the time and do you want to know another thing?".
"What thing?".
"Back then in sophomore that she said that junior kissed Jaxx which made you angry and didn't talk to him for a week?".
"Yeah?". I replied wanting to know more.
"Jaxx never kissed the girl. She only wants to see you two apart".
"What the fuck?!! That bitch!!". I turn to glare at Ivy at the dance floor. "How dare she try to take whats mine?".
I frown at her figure as I imagine Ivy trying to destroy Jaxx and I relationship.
"But wait ". I faced Ana again. "Why are you telling me all this now?".
"You may be arrogant and rude, Blair but I just don't want to see you heartbroken. The truth is Ivy has been planning stuffs for you just so you know".
And with that, Ana left taking along her bottle of alcohol.
I clench my fists at the thought of Jaxx being taken away from me and I breathed in sharply looking around.
"Hey!! You!". I beckoned rudely onto one of the waiters with a tray of drinks.
He walked towards me. "Yes , ma'am?".
"Put four glasses on the counter". I ordered him.
"Excuse me? Four ? ".
"You heard me!!". I retorted harshly. "I am not speaking another language or am I ?".
He shook his head not saying anything as he dropped four top glasses of alcohol on the counter for me.
I waved him aside as he walked away while I faced the drinks then took one glass gulping its contents in immediately.
And then I chug in the second one feeling the need to dissolve my anger with that.
Then drank the third.
Then the fourth.
I dropped the last glass feeling lucky that I wasn't dizzy yet. I looked around for Jaxx but couldn't see him.
Humph. Where could he be?

Zane Charming
"So you came". The mysterious girl said running her hands down my chest.
I grabbed her hands. "So why did you call me here?".
Without hesitation, she pulled her hands away from mine and moved them back to her dress giving me a sultry smile as she unzipped it.
Gosh!! So she's this bitchy, huh?

Unlike someone! I thought as my mind drifted to Blair.
I shook the thoughts out of my head at the sight of the girl in just her bra and panties.
She had such a heavenly shape but it was not anything that I haven't seen before.
I moved towards her pushing her against the wall as I raised my hand to her panties tearing it off within few seconds.

The girl stepped away from me picking up her dress and then walks away quickly.
"What are you doing here?". I asked him as I zipped back my trousers.
"So this was what Blair saw that made her refuse my kiss? Hmm , how interesting".
"What?".
"What the heck do you want with my girl?". He asked leaning on the door.
"Blair?".
"Of course, its Blair. Who else am I talking about?". He retorted angrily.
"Okay, man. You don't need to get angry or anything like that because I got nothing to do with Blair".
Liar!! You've been thinking of her soft lips.
Shut up! I reminded my subconscious.
"You sure?". Jaxx asked gruffly glaring at me.
"She's not even my type. I don't know how you manage to keep with her arrogance, her pride and Blair acts way too classy".
"Yeah". He snorted loudly. "Too classy for you ".
I looked at him. "What?".
"She's too classy for you. Isn't that what you are saying? Someone like you can never get her for fall for you".
I scoffed. "Seriously ? Are you kidding me right now?".
"Hey! Its just the truth".
"Well you want to know the truth, I can get your girlfriend, Blair Virgo to fall for me in a month".
He rolled his eyes. "Not going to happen".
I frowned furiously as he smirked at me mockingly before walking away leaving me all alone in the restroom.
