The food that was served in the cafeteria didn't even at least help to lift my mood as I just poked it listlessly. The soggy looked back at me warily as if to say, 'do you think I enjoy eating you too?'
"Hey cheer up. I'm sure Jake will soon talk to you, he always does." Sally tried reassuring me but it wasn't helping.
"Wait so let me get this right. Jason and Jenny aren't really dating. It was all just a rumour. Phew, what a relief." Nathan commented and I threw him a weak glare. I don't know how long he plans on joining this table for lunch but I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to take it any longer.
"Be considerate Nathan," Sally whispered, "And am I supposed to be bothered by the way Stephanie is glancing at this table with pity? Particularly at you?"
