"In the end, I can't help but take pity on him. He's a hollow soul after all."
Prometheus answered.
A person that seek glory can be advised but a person that doesn't have any Desires? that is tough.. Hopefully, the child—Icarus— won't hate him when he changed into a monster that Prometheus helped create.

Let's say hypothetical someone has the ability to grant wishes and everyone want those wishes, who's the one that'll be harder to satisfy? is it the greedy? or the envious ones? no! it's those that accepted their situation and are content with their way of life. It's those that doesn't have any Desires, any goal or/and dreams, that's those that are harder to satisfy.
What will you give that person? power? he doesn't need it, women? pffft. When a person is content with him/her self there isn't much that a genei can do.
Hero? psshh. Icarus doesn't want glory, matter of fact he doesn't want to continue fighting. A person can only be a hero if the people you save are in danger and in the world like this where Kings aren't always satisfied with their riches, wars are an ordinary thing. People wage war for self interest, Hero go and fight in those wars to gain glory. They brandish their weapon to their kin, they paint the world blood red and the Gods sit in their giant thrones looking at their ENTERTAINMENT.
A person with no desire. That's what Icarus is to Prometheus.
The child with so much beauty that Prometheus never seen on a mortal before, with his long luxurious brown hair, his pale complexion, lithe constitution and blue eyes that look so innocent despite their dead, soulles appearance. Prometheus knows he'll be the cause of wars in the future. 'They'll name a city after you, child.'
But the child only has a simple wish, not even a desire. "I-I just want to live."
" I want to enjoy life without the trouble of Gods and Monster's"
As a Titan of Forethought and Wisdom, Prometheus can see fate and the future to a certain extent. His heart just bleed at what he had seen. Prometheus doesn't want to do this, he doesn't want to turn his children into Monsters but..The Mortal World and the universe may be torn asunder if someone doesn't collect those Things. The heroes of the past has failed to collect them, the world isn't stable anymore. Prometheus can feel it, in how the Gods are weakening, in how the mana/Magic in the world was slowly fading. The world is slowly splitting apart into two world now. The Gods, Magic, Phantasmal species and Mystery will disappear from the world. One thing is very clear though, The Age of the Gods will end if the Gods didn't do anything about it, if Prometheus didn't do anything about it.
Icarus will live a life where he doesn't fear the Gods but at what price?
Prometheus sighed and looked at the sky while the sunrise peak itself over the mountains.
Oh Mighty Zeus
Is this what you wanted me to learn?
Was this one of your tests?
Prometheus doesn't like this, not one bit.'I bless you, child of mine. All I beg from you is not to be wroth with me when you find out I made a monster out of you.'
Prometheus is sorrowful but he'll have to look at the bigger picture. He'll have to kill one to save two, kill 5 to save dozens.
Kill one to save millions

"Now the principle of the spell is th—" The person who was talking paused.
A young maiden with blue-ish hair and elven like ears gazed at the women who just stopped talking and looked at a particular direction.
"Master?" The young maiden called out.
"Hm?" The woman who had paused before looked at her student looking at her confused.
"what is it? is someone praying to you?" the girl questioned.
"No."
"Then what is it?"
The woman chuckled and answered. "Well, it seems like you're going to have a fellow student who's going to study Mysteries with you."
"Y-you are going to have another student beside me and grand aunt Circe?"
"Yes, young one. Are you excited?" The woman questioned.
"hm!" The young agreed with enthusiasm. "It won't be boring in here any longer"
The woman chuckled again. "I guess so."

The journey to Mount Pelion was shorter than it was to get to Mount Caucasus. Another huge factor was...he didn't have to ride on a ship! Yea, he's still holding a grudge on that, sue him.
He was close to the Cave of Chiron. One may wonder, how does he know that? well, Prometheus gave him a map inside his head. Well..if you call voices in your head pointing at directions a 'map' then you're free to do so.
One thing that was weird though was th— "Ho? young man, ca—"
Icarus stopped and looked at the obviously trap before him. An old lady with raven hair and purple eyes gazed upon him akin to how a predator gaze upon a prey.
Then he resumed walking like he hadn't seen the old lady. One thing that his father hammered in his head when he was young was that, anything or anyone that has purple eyes was a red flag. No, a person can have natural purple eyes for all he cared but...the situation and the area he was in didn't allow any of that. like, I get it, you're a monster, Sorcerer or a god but please... an old lady in the mountains? one with purple eyes to boot? yea, who do you take me for? an idiot?
Icarus sighed. Didn't people tell the Gods that they suck at acting? like the Gods that are pretending to be humans were easy to catch. When you're a King or a God that has an ego the size of a Titan then it's going to be easy to identify them. When you're used to speak with a Noble dialect and used to walk with grace, it's going to be hard to change that. Gods are even easier, I mean dude, you spend centuries ordering people as a God and having them inflate your head with ego and arrogance don't you think it's easy to tell from ordinary people and the 'weird' ones apart? And don't tell Icarus about concidences, this is the Greek mythology, there's no such thing called 'concidence'
Icarus passed a 'teen' with brown hair that still has purple eyes screaming at him to help him.
It didn't really take long for the mastermind behind this illusions to reveal himself— no, to reveal Herself.
A person with dark raven hair and purple eyes wearing a black cloak while holding a pair of keys in her hand. Her physical appearance was hard to pin down because she seems to change everytime he thought he saw the ' real' her. One moment she's a person with a human head, the next there's the head of a goat and a python sprouting on the sides of her neck.
Icarus felt a shiver going down his spine. At this point Icarus has given up, can't he just spend one day — just one, one!— without bandits, monsters and Gods ruining his day? like come on bruh..why don't they just go and torment other heroes? They can haunt Jason and Herakles for all he cares.
"Icarus of athens" The voice that came out of the 'person' standing before him came out distorted and warped. There was a lot of hissing and other sounds he doesn't understand.
It hurt his ears just listening to her. He cradled his head as a migraine hit him with a force that can topple mountains.
"Mayhaps I should kill you where you stand." The voice said, then as if she's thoughtful she added as an afterthought. "Maybe turning you into a pig should be sufficient? I'm craving pork meat, after all."
Icarus felt his whole body cringe. He pushed the migraine to the side to focus on this Totally Goddess before him. "Apologies, my goddess." Icarus gritted his teeth as he felt his body sway under him, standing before a goddess that is wroth with him is a new experience, one that he— if it's okay with the Fates— won't want to repeat.
Why he's apologizing? well, Icarus knew that she knew that he knew he was avoiding her. It's not like that he knew it's her that was playing peak-a-boo with him, no, not at all. he isn't sarcastic.
"Come. I got a notice from Prometheus to take you as my student."
Icarus struggled to follow her. Icarus knew her, well, more like knew of her. He can recognize that pair of keys and that appearance that shift between three Body's of herself. There's only one Goddess described as such.
This is Lady Hecate, The Goddess of Magic, Witchcraft, Mystery, Doorways, Crossroads, Night, Ghosts, Moon And Sorcery. The only Titan that aside from Helios and Selene that was not thrown in Tartarus — There may be more but Icarus only know these only—
"Student?" Icarus muttered, confused. "Can I get an explaination from your magnificent self, my goddess?" he spoke up as he took great strides to keep up with her.
"You're going to have to call me Master from now on, and your...desire to be free from the Gods influence isn't a child play to accomplish. We're going to have to temper your body, mind and soul from the Underworld before learning Sorcery from me in order to get closer to your dream."
That...that shocked Icarus to a stand still. Please tell me I'm not going to the Underworld
Icarus felt fear course through him, he ran her response in his head a few times before noting something wrong. But Icarus didn't point how it felt more like they're giving him Weapons to fight for the world or to fight the entire world.
"W-where are we going now, master?"
"Where else? To the Underworld!"
With that response Icarus felt like someone stepped on his grave and pissed on it for a good measure.
Hecate snapped her finger and they started glowing. But Icarus knew that she's doing that for him, if she wanted, she can teleport him to the underworld without him knowing how they got there.
'H-hey, who said I wanna go to the underworld?'
Icarus didn't say anything. He just gave Hecate a quivering smile that Icarus was sure he looked like he's about to cry any minute now.
With a flash, Icarus and Hecate disappeared from Mount Pelion.
