Jack suddenly thought about his regen when he was waiting for the couple to start the seance.
He elected to use some energy that he was sure he'll recover by the time the seance started. He didn't want to waste the experience he could have gotten after all.
When he thought about how he decided to not even use an hour's worth of energy while waiting for David's friend to come wasting his regen earlier hurt his heart.
While Sarah grabbed her phone and returned to the kitchen to start dinner for her family during which she made some phone calls to some of Angelica's friend's mothers, David went to the living room to play with Angelica who was drawing on a princess coloring book.
"Hey sweetheart, what are you drawing?" David said to angelica while he stepped in front of her while he put his hand on the ground and lowered himself to sit cross-legged in front of her.
"I'm coloring, Daddy, do you think this dress should be pink or red?" Angelica who looked deep in thought asked her dad as she pointed with her finger to the page.
"Of course, she should have a pink dress. " David said while looking at the page in front of him.
"hmm, Okay!" Angelica said happily and then took a red crayon out of her box and started filling the dress in.
Jack followed David from the kitchen and saw this scene. He had wanted to scare David but doing so would also scare Angelica.
'This could work.' Jack suddenly had an idea.
Jack walked to them and focused on his hand while using his will to create an orb and reached toward her head.
David who was watching his daughter color her book suddenly saw a ball of light just appear and shoot toward his daughter and disappear into her.
David paled and thought something was going to possess his daughter.
"Sweetheart, do you feel ok?" David said to her shaken up by something happening to her.
"Huh? I'm ok, daddy." Angelica said with a head tilt as she looked at her dad asking weird questions with a weird complexion.
David hearing her showed a relieved face. But still, on guard, he paid close attention to her to make sure she was normal.
Angelica saw her dad make a couple of weird faces in succession and giggled.
"Daddy, you're silly." Angelica with a big smile.
Jack absentmindedly saw this scene while checking his experience and energy.

'Perfect.' Jack thought as he smiled to himself glad his plan worked.
Jack knew he still had a couple of hours so he left them in the living room and went to the kitchen to scare Sarah next.
"Gabby is excited about the sleepover? That's great. I'll be over with Angelica after dinner. Thank you, goodbye " Sarah said as she removed a pot from a cabinet, turned on the stove and took her phone off her shoulder, and then hung up.
Jack watched as she made dinner and thought about what he could do and decided to stay simple and tapped her shoulder twice.
She turned around after being tapped expecting her husband but saw no one. She had a scared look on her face for a split second before calming down and consoling herself that it was all in her head.
Although she thought that even if it was all in her head that it wasn't much better.

Jack checked his status again and decided to stop there and wait for the seance to start as he watched Sarah prep dinner.
A few hours later after dinner, Angelica was taken over to a friend's house for a sleepover, and after Sarah got back the couple started setting up the seance.
The couple followed the instructions and made a circle with candles big enough for them both to fit into.
After that was done they lit the candles and turned off the television and lights to make it dark and quiet.
Then they both sat down on their knees in the circle of candles with them touching and out the board on them.
"I'll be the medium." David taking the planchette declared as he looked at his nervous and fidgeting wife.
"Thank you." Sarah thanked him as she saw his concern for her.
"Let's get this started, Remember to remain calm and polite. " David said as he reminded his wife of the instructions and placed the planchette on the board.
They both placed their index and ring fingers lightly on the planchette.
"Hello, welcome to any spirits in our house." David started with a greeting as per the instructions. Soon after the planchette started moving.
Jack smirked as he manipulated the planchette.
"H"-"E"-"L"-"L"-"O" Sarah paled as she read out the letters as the planchette moved without them doing it.
"How many spirits are in the room?" David saw this and asked his next question after the planchette stopped.
The planchette moved over to number one and stopped. The couple seeing this felt relieved.
"At least we are not outnumbered." David jokingly mumbled to relieve his anxiety.
"What is your name?" said David
"J"-"A"-"C"-"K" Jack manipulated the board and willingly gave his name.
David and Sarah saw that they were getting consistent back-to-back answers and felt scared but also curious about why this spirit is in their home.
"Are you a good spirit?" David asked this question hesitantly afraid of the answer.
After David asked this the planchette moved to the upper left to the word "Yes". The couple felt relieved but they also knew they can't take the answers of this spirit at face value according to the instructions.
" Ask him if he can give us a sign that he is real." Sarah looked at David and told him.
"Can you give us a sign?" David dreaded as he asked this afraid of what will happen, this question went against the instructions.
Jack with a mischievous smirk on his face walked to Sarah's side and tapped her shoulder twice like earlier in the kitchen.
David saw his wife stiffen with a pale face.
"What's wrong?" David asked.
"I just felt someone tap my shoulder. " Sarah explained.
"Are you ok? Do you want to continue?" David took his hands off of the planchette and held his wife's hands in comfort.
"I'm ok. let's continue we still need answers to a couple of questions." Sarah squeezed her husband's hands before letting go and reassuring him.
"Are you the one who we have seen and heard around the house lately?" David asked and the planchette moved over to yes.
"What do you want?" asked David.
Jack hesitated on whether to scare them or be serious with this question. After much thought, he decided to be a little serious.
"C"-"L"-" O-"S"-"U"-"R"-"E"
David and Sarah saw the board write out "closure" and felt a bit of relief they both thought at least it did want something that wasn't harmful to them.
"How can we help you?" After David asked this question Jack hesitated. He doesn't think this family will be able to help him, so he decided to scare them.
"A"-"N"-"G"-"E"-"L"-"I"-"C"-"A"
David and Sarah both paled and looked at each other as they read out these letters and put them together.
Jack saw this and smiled as he felt himself absorb their fear.

The couple took their hands off the planchette and looked hesitant to continue.
"Should we continue?" David asked his wife with a look of fear on his face.
"Yes, we need to ask at least why he wants with her."
They eventually divided to continue and place their hands back on the planchette.
"Why do you want Angelica?" David said with a face of concern
"F"-"R"-"I"-"E"-"N"-"D" Jack laughed seeing them scared, he decided to relieve them just in case they get too scared and decided to move out.
The couple seeing this didn't feel as relieved as Jack hoped considering they can't take anything just says too seriously.
"How did you die?" David continued his questioning and ignored the last couple of answers choosing to worry about it later.
"T"-"R"-"U"-"C"-"K" Jack answered truthfully but then noticed he was running low on energy.

"How long have you been dead?" David asked after thinking about the cause of death being a truck.

The couple took a second to decode this as it was long and more than one word.
They didn't hear of a truck accident recently and they owned this house for a couple of years so they were curious how a ghost suddenly appeared.
"Why are you here?" David asked
"F"-"R"-"I"-"E"-"N"-"D"
"G"-"O"-"O"-"D"-"B"-"Y"-"E"
Jack was getting low on energy so he decided to try and reassure them he was friendly and then said goodbye while using the last of his energy.
After deciphering what was said the couple continued trying to ask questions but never received another answer so they ended the session.
Sarah got up and turned the lights on while David blew the candles out.
"What do you think?" Sarah asked David as she put the board back into the package.
"I think we need to sleep on what we learned." David yawned after he said this while trying to also relieve the tension.
Sarah smiled and nodded at him.
"Alright, we can think about this tomorrow. Let's go to bed." Sarah and David then cleaned up the rest and turned the lights out before heading to their bedroom to do their daily night routine.
Jack meanwhile checked his status and thought about what the plan for tomorrow is.
