Kane was dumbfounded to see a familiar-looking dragon appear in front of him.
'The hell? Smog? What is the King of the Blings doing here?'
Everyone stared at the massive dragon. The elves began shivering and quickly dropped their weapons.
The elf in Kane's arms began shaking violently, turning away seemingly terrified by the dragon's presence.
I looked over to see Angelica jumping up and down overjoyed.
'So that's what she was doing'
'I thought she'd be some useless goddess I have to carry around'
While wondering to himself, the dragon began to move. Its giant white wings flapped and violent gusts of wind blew through our faces. its massive tail flailed from side to side severing the grass around it. A gut-wrenching roar reverberated through our bodies, and the elves fainted on the spot.
Hot golden liquid poured beneath Kane's legs, and the elf fell slumped on his chest unconscious.
'If I knew that wasn't caused by Angelica, I'd be acting the same way as them.'
Kane looked in Angelica's direction with a relieved smile. She looked back and showed a complacent look on her face.
"Is that what you were doing the whole time?"
"Of course, if you didn't keep bothering me, I could've gotten it here a lot sooner."
"Yeah yeah, but how did you summon that dragon in the first place?"
"Don't worry it's just an illusion."
After her words, the dragon began glowing and a small ball of fluff appeared in its place. Tiny wings sprouted on its back and flew towards Angelica.
"Good job Kobo! I'm sorry for bringing you here in the mortal realm I know you don't like it here but I really needed your help."
A cute yelp came from the little ball of fur then a small tongue poke out and started licking Angelica's face.
Feeling a little left out, Kane had a small frown on his mouth and asked Angelica who's the ball of fur.
"Umm, care to introduce me to this little guy?"
Sparks flew between the little fluff ball and Kane, and Angelica glared at him.
"And why do I need to introduce you?"
"Fair point, but as comrades in arms shouldn't we be getting along?"
She continued looking at his face then sighed.
"... Fine. Kane this is Kobo, Kobo this is Kane. Kobo is my divine beast and Kane is a random nobody I picked up in the trash."
Veins began popping on Kane's head and he began recalling what happened to her.
"Oh really? A dirt poor goddess like you has something to say huh? If it weren't for me two more holes would be added to your face."
"If you hadn't done anything we wouldn't even be in this mess!"
"Look I already apologized and last I recall you were the one who did it."
"Me?!? What did I do!"
"Well a message popped up when I gave you a name, it asked me to make you my servant and I was about to press no, but you pulled me in and I pressed yes on accident."
"Servant?!"
As soon as she heard that, Angelica had a soulless look on her face, she weakly slumped down on the ground and started crying.
"My, my life is ruined…. Wahh* sob* sob*…"
'Look who's crying now'
"Okay, I'm sorry it wasn't my fault and neither was yours. We're perfectly safe now and we got everything all handled. Plus being my servant isn't that bad, It's not like I'll be making you do anything."
She looked at Kane with dim eyes, then started crying even more.
"…"
"Wahh!…..sob* sob*"
'Well, that didn't work. Sigh* better tie up these elves before they wake up.'
Kane waited for the goddess to calm down, but Angelica kept crying for a half hour. Kane gave up on waiting and started making rope out of the cut grass. Suddenly, a notification popped up.

'I might need more than just making things out of grass to increase it then.'
Kane picked up the Elven women and sat them down in a row.
'How was that one binding method go again? Ah found it.'
Kane quickly tied each elf in what seemed to be an intimate style of bondage.

After praising his work, he walked towards Angelica and tried to console her.

She looked at Kane as if she witnessed her parents' funeral. She meekly nodded and began cleaning herself up.
'Sigh, maybe I shouldn't have told her in the first place.'
'Anyways, Zoey, can you cancel the servant contract or something?'

'So you're telling me I can freely sign a literal goddess as my servant, but I can't leave her be?'
[Cancelling a servant contract requires severing the user's soul with the contractee. Therefore large amounts of divinity are required to safely sever the link]
'But how come it was so easy for me to make her my servant?'
[Your soul strength is stronger than hers and Angelica is an unnamed true spirit, therefore her soul was easily connected to yours]
'So you're telling me as long as someone is weaker than me, I can make them my servant?'

As Kane was talking with Zoey. The blonde elf woke up from her sleep.

'What happened?'
As I began remembering what perspired I shuddered and closed my eyes.
'It can't be real. No, it can't be, there's no way that dragon could still be alive.'
'Our Elders told us the White Death was slain by the Tryads, so how is it here?'
I opened my eyes expecting to see a massive dragon, but what I saw was a beautiful woman sitting down wiping herself while murmuring something. A white ball of fur is sitting right next to her with a dejected look on its face. I looked to my right and a tall handsome man was standing absentmindedly.
'Huh? Where did the dragon go'
I tried moving my arms but I realized I was tied up.
'What kind of binding is this?'
I looked all over my body observing the intricately tied rope confining me.
'Just what kind of person did we mess with?'
As I was about to cast a spell to send a signal, a voice came to my ears.
"You're awake."

Kane's pov:
As Kane was questioning Zoey on the new abilities he gained, he felt slight movement from the elves.
'The blonde one's awake, or was it, Laura?'
I looked at her nervous expression and I slowly walked toward her.
"Oh, you're awake."
"..."
"Don't be like that, I know you're all tied up, but don't worry I won't harm you or your friends."
"..."
She looked at him completely ignoring what he said.
'Sigh* It's gonna be a long day'
"Okay, look we really didn't mean to trespass in your territory but we really were teleported here on accident."
Seemingly unconvinced, he kept clarifying to her what happened.
"We were gonna peacefully walk away, but as you can see, we were attacked by you so we had to defend ourselves."
Laura stared at Kane like he was the ugliest guy in the world.
"..."
'Well that's a face I've seen before'
"Sigh* If I untie you would you agree to let us leave?"
She waited for a couple of seconds then nodded her head.
"Alright, just don't attack me."
Kane started untying the rope, and when he was almost finished, time began to slow down.
'Sigh* I was trying to be civilized, but I guess people aren't so nice here in this world'
Laura lunged towards him. Kane quickly reacted by grabbing her waist and doing a german suplex.
"Keugh*"
Letting her lie on the ground. He stood up to the side and looked at her like a disobedient kid.
"See, this wouldn't have happened if you simply listened."
While lying on the ground she looked at Kane with disdain in her eyes.
"Okay, it's obvious we don't trust each other. Is there some kind of way where we can both come to an agreement?"
Looking like she finally heard him, she stood up slowly and patted herself down.
"Alright... then do you want to sign a soul pact?
"What's a soul pact?"
She looked at him confused.
"You don't know how to do a soul pact?"
"Never heard of it."
"sigh* A soul pact temporarily connects a part of our soul essence to the Sacred being, allowing us to see through the other person's mind and connect our memories. If the other person were to harm the one they're contracted within the soul plane, the Sacred being will destroy both their souls, wiping their existence and removing them from the cycle of reincarnation. Simple."
"Wow, simple, I think we might have different definitions of simple. Alright, where do I sign."
"Hold my hands and then say my name, then focus your mana to guide your soul to the Sacred being."

Kane slowly approached Laura and grabbed her soft white hands.

Suddenly a familiar prompt appeared in front of him.

Kane quickly let go of her hand and was about press no, fortunately {I mean, unfortunately}, a red-haired elf suddenly sprung up and hit his arm.
