Luka sat languidly on his couch in his bedroom, his cold gaze fixated on the girl who sat in his bed across from him, fidgeting nervously with her fingers. Her eyes were cast downwards in an attempt to avoid his interrogative stare, her subdued posture giving away her unease at his silent yet piercing watch.
With a sigh, the pureblood cocked his head to the side. "You look like you've seen a ghost, Keisha. Why so tense? Relax."
The human simply turned her head away from him, and though she did not intend to offend, her action angered the pureblood. "You will look at me when I talk to you, pet. Are we clear?"
