"I have an idea. How about you build a house closer to the Spirit Well." Drea asked. "We could meet and talk more and also have more chances to test your skills." She said with shining eyes.
Of course she wanted to test my skills. And especially Create servant. She said that in order to give me mana, she must be closer to the Spirit Well. She says that she will give me as much mana as I need, but that she wants to see what the skill can do. I don't have enough mana for now, but I could try to create something with her mana supply.
"Well, that sounds good, but i have a question. How big a house can I build?" I asked.
"You can build it as big as you want, but leave some place for beasts to live on." Drea replied with a smile.
After we talked, I grabbed all the things I needed and we headed to the Spirit Well. When we got there, various beasts started growling at me, but Drea quickly calmed them down. And I started building my house. This time I made it with two floors and an attic. It looked like a wonderful fantasy house with a garden. Of course, I also made a cellar where I can train my new skills. It is reinforced with the hardest metals I have found.
All this time, the beasts around me looked at me strangely. There were a lot of Needle rats and also a few wolves, which according to my improved book in the form of a system, are called Flugur Wolfs. They are said to have abilities associated with lightning. Aes Deer were also there. They had large metal antlers. They had beautiful silver fur. And there were many other strange beasts.
When I looked at them like that, I thought it would be great if they also had a shelter. I made larger wooden houses for the Needle rats. And I made something like a big dog house for the wolves. And finally I made something like stables for deer. It took quite a bit of mana, but at least I got some practice. They looked quite happy after I built it.
I made a chimney and a fireplace in my house. Now that I think about it. Can I use Light magic to make fire? I brought wood and put it in the fireplace. And I tried to use Light magic and use it to create fire. It took a long time, but I finally made a fire. I also found out that I still can't control Light magic very well. It will probably be the same with Dark magic. And it's time to create new furniture. Of course I took all the furs from that bed too. After I finished all the furniture, I heard someone knock on the door.
"Come in!" I said while making the bed.
I heard footsteps downstairs. After a few moments I heard how someone is going up the stairs.
"You made nice place for yourself here." Drea said with a smile.
Yes, I think my house was pretty good, and what do you think about beast houses? " I asked Drea.
"I think they're pretty good for being made using only magic." Drea said. "Btw how about trying that Create servant skill?"
I smiled because I expected it. "Of course, come with me, I'll show you another part of my house."
"All right!" Drea said excitedly as she followed me.
We went to the basement, which looked like a training center and lab in one. The entire basement could be seen illuminated with glowing crystals in the ceiling. At the very back was made something like a ring for fighting. In the left part there were several wooden figurines. To the right are several tables with stones on them. There was also something resembling an anvil with a hammer.
"Ohhh that looks great." Drea said with a smile. "Is this your training center?"
"Yes do you like it" I said. "Well come with me to that ring over there and we can try Create Servant there."
When we entered the ring, I asked. "What should I create first?"
"How about someone of the same race as you?" Drea said excitedly. "So now I'll start sending mana and you just focus on creating."
I did as she told me and began to create a woman from the Alatus race. Thanks to the newly modified Book of Knowledge that now worked as a system, it was quite easy. I could set a lot of things, like a personality and I could give her some of my skills. An awful lot of mana flowed through me while I was creating her. I set her personality to quite friendly and I'll admit that I made her a bit of a battle-junkie. Don't judge me. I just like battle-junkie characters. Little by little, as the mana that seemed bottomless drained from my body, wings began to grow on her back. She had gorgeous black hair and, like me, she had dark red triangles under her eyes. The same robe that I wore when I first appeared in this world appeared on her body.
And finally it's over. Its time to name her. "Your name is Pramis from now on" I said and her eyes shot open. Through my peripheral vision, I caught a glimpse of a breathless Drea.
"Are you OK?" I asked her, while Pramis just stared blankly at us.
*Whew. Huh* "Yeah, but I didn't expect it to drain so much mana." She answered breathlessly. "I had to use one and a half times more mana than I have available in me. Don't worry, I used it from Spirit Well, and that's nothing for Spirit Well, it just takes a toll on my body."
"Oh well then." I answered her even though I was a bit worried. "Btw this is Pramis. Of course, she has the same racial skills as me, Light and Dark magic and Polearm fighting style at master level."
"Ohhh she looks great and even has wings. Tell me how you feel Pramis." Drea asked.
Pramis looked at her and answered after a moment. "I feel strange. May I ask what I am? I know I'm Pramis, but that's all."
Oh, she probably won't know much since she was created not even a few minutes ago. So Drea and I started explaining everything to her. How we created her and how she is from the now extinct Alatus race. And after hours of explaining, we finally explained everyting to her.
"Now try to use the Summon tool skill" I told her. And a few moments later a spear exactly like mine appeared in their hands.
"Oh this looks great. Can I try it out on something?" Pramis asked me impatiently. You could see how excited she was to fight. She is really a does like fighting.
"They're on wooden dummies over there." I said as I showed her where to go. Drea and I then watched her attack the figurines for a few moments. While fighting, Pramis used all her strength with every punch and stab, unlike how I try to fight with more agility. That's doesn't mean she didn't swing the spear quickly. She had the same pole art skill as me so of corse it was fast.
"She is quite good for the fact that she was created only a few moments ago" Drea said as she looked intently at Pramis destroying one dummy after another. "But we cannot create another one. Even if I had enough mana, it takes a toll on my body. That's why we have to wait until you have enough mana or the skill will improve."
"Hmm I actually feel a little bad about creating people like this. I guess I'll just create people with no personality. I don't know why, I just don't think it's right. I should let them create their own personality. So it won't take as much mana next time. Even so, I have to get stronger to be able to create more." I told Drea.
"Well, I understand it." Drea replied as she fall in thoughts. "Do you want to go hunting with Pramis? I think you could at least test how strong she is in fight."
Hmm, that's a good idea. Now that I think about it I could make the same sword as I have from the other antler for Pramis. Just because it would go well together. If we were to hunt a bear together, I could also make her the same armor I have.
"Hey, Pramis?" I said and immediately her red eyes turned in my direction. "Do you want to go hunting with me?"
A smile appeared on her face. "Of course I want to."
I tossed her the second Antler Sword and we went into the forest together. Along the way she asked me a lot of things about the beasts and animals we saw and about the flowers along the way.
We walked further and further and suddenly something resembling a crocodile stood in front of us. Its body had shiny black scales. We prepared them both for battle. Pramis chose to be melee so i chose to support her as ranger. I created a lot of spears in the air while Pramis ran towards the crocodile. He tried to bite her hand, but before he could snap his mouth, I hit him with a spear. The attack was followed by Pramisa's spear swing which cut off his head. We continued like this until we came upon a red bear.
When I was about to give up, he emerged from the forest. His horns were longer than the previous one and he had scales not only on his back but also on his shoulders, legs and stomach. I think this is a male of this species. We didn't have time to think much because he ran at us. I immediately fired my spears at him which got stuck into his chest, and Pramis ran towards him. I was a little afraid that he would hit her, but when he was right in front of her, she jumped into the air above him thanks her wings. I understood what she wanted to do and immediately grabbed his legs with the vines. He couldn't move and suddenly Pramis, who was high in the air, starts to fall with great speed.
*Swish*
And her spear ended up in his head. He didn't even manage to fire his ultimate attack and he was already dead.
"We did it! We're awesome!" Ramis rejoiced. "Our teamwork is amazing! Let's take our prey home. I want to taste what we caught."
It was obvious that she enjoyed hunting. But I was surprised by the fact that we defeated the bear so easily. And when we arrived home, I decided to make her a leather bed and put it on the same floor in my house. I had to adjust the rooms a bit, but it didn't take that long. I made for the armor that looked same as mine. She looked amazing in that armor. Like some fairy tale heroine.
Then the sun was finally starting to set after everything. I decided it was time to cook our prey. I didn't eat much today and of course Pramis hasn't eaten anything before yet. We made dinner and the beast joined us in eating. It was getting close to midnight and Drea finally appeared and brought something similar to alcohol. It is made of spiritual water and some berries. I drank a little. I've never had alcohol before, so I wanted to know how it tastes.
It was already afternoon and I woke up with a terrible headache. I don't remember anything, but according to Drea, I sang during the night about fighting a dragon. Apparently, Pramis also got drunk and wanted to take me on a legendary dragon-slaying expedition. I will never drink Spirit Alcohol again. Or at least in the near future.
