Chereads / Erliel the queen of Alatus / Chapter 9 - Another interesting part of Pramis.

Chapter 9 - Another interesting part of Pramis.

When we woke up, we found out one interesting thing. Pramis no longer has a spear but a Naginata. Naginata is a spear that has a sword instead of the part that stabs. I'm guessing that the spear was my influence on her skill because she didn't have her fighting style yet. Her naginata was shorter than my spear but had a long blade at the top. And when we tried it, we found out that it fits her much better than a spear. It was interesting that her naginata was different from what can be seen in martial arts demonstrations with weapons. Hers had a larger blade, probably intended for large slashing attacks, but she could still make short and small attacks. Probably because those weapons created using the skill have a specially made weight that is perfect for the wielder of that weapon. I don't remember most of the night, but in the morning I found out something.

*Nom, Nom* "This is great food. Maybe even better than yesterday diner!" She said while eating and drinking the alcohol we drank from yesterday. I don't know how, but she can handle alcohol better than me.

"Well it really looks like you like it." I said while Pramis just continued to eat." Btw are you going hunting alone today? Me and Drea want to try out my new skills."

"Sure, plus I'll be able to test my new weapon better" She smiled with a mouth full of meat.

"Before you go, let us know." Drea said as she dragged me to the basement lab.

"So I would like to find out something. How much a Halo of Power will make you stronger. I'd also like to find out how much your Nature magic has gotten stronger. Last of all, I would like to find out how your skill acquiring works." She said before I could even answer.

She had a scary smile on her face. My guess is that Drea, if she were in my world, would be a famous scientist. Probably because she has been bored for hundreds of years, so now she wants to find out a lot of things, and since I'm the most interesting thing around her right now, she is focused on me, and finding out everything about my skills.

We spent the whole afternoon testing skills. Finally, I can make a sturdier fiber out of plants, and I can also make huge stone hands out of dirt and stone. I also found that my Halo of Power doubles all my stats for 30 minutes. We also found out that my skill acquiring doesn't make any sense at all. I guess it's because of the Evolve skill, but I get them much faster than I should. But I must meet certain conditions that allows me to get skill. First, I have to focus on the fact that I want to get it, and second, I have to do something related to that skill. Thanks to this, I can get more skills. Btw, this is what my status looks like after we experimented with Drea.

Everything except the new Leaders soul skill is exactly as it is called. Of course, the new Leaders soul skill is the most interesting one I got.

(Leaders Soul)

(Being the leader of your own group allows you to share one signature skill with your subordinates. Used skill"EVOLVE")

My eyes opened wide. Does this mean that Pramis can evolve with me?!

"Drea, I got a great skill that will allow me to extend the influence of my Evolve skill to my subordinates!!" I shouted, startling Drea, who jumped a little.

She just stared at me for a moment and then realized what that would mean. "Can I try to give her the last bottle of Spirit Water we have?"

"Couldn't you make another one?" I asked.

"Of course, I could pick up more, but I won't do it without a good reason, because it takes a lot of energy." She answered me with sad smile.

"I understand, but it would be useful in my own evolution." I thought for a second."I think it's better to wait and let her master her skills and then let her get upgrade."

She considered her options for a moment. I think she was also thinking about whether she should create another bottle of spirit water. After a moment she answered. "Ok, but I'll be at both two evolutions! Deal?"

Suddenly we heard the door open and stomping from the upper floor. So we both went there and what we saw surprised me. Pramis stood there covered in blood from head to toe.

"Go wash up!" I said and sent her down the river, not far from the Spirit Well.

"I didn't expect her to be covered in blood from head to toe right after the first hunt." She smiled a little. "I expected her to be more careful on her first hunt."

"I didn't expect that either." I yelled back at Drea to hear me because I was out making new clothes for the Pramis out of plants. Her white robe is ruined and soaked in blood so she can't wear it.

"What do you think?" I asked Drea and showed her the new outfit for Pramis. It was something similar to robe before, but it was red as blood. The red color is made out of red flowers. It's easier to hide a blood stain on red, right? Or was it black? I don't know anymore, I didn't deal with anything like that because most of my injuries in my past life were broken bones.

"Ohh, it looks nice and I think it will suit her." Drea replied while nodding her head.

"Ok, I'll be back in a minute, I'll just bring it to her." I said and walked out towards where Pramis is.

Outside was little bit darker and I was walking slowly across the clearing past the Spirit Well. The sun was slowly setting behind the sea of trees and the sky was turning dark.

I was walking and my eyes fell upon a figure washing in the river. I froze mid-walk. I didn't realize it until now, but Pramis is quite beautiful. Long black hair flaunted between her beautiful pair of feathered wings. Her red lips, eyes with triangles below them were decorating her face.

I was in daze for a while.

"Hey Pramis." I called her when I finally snapped out of my daze. "I have new clothes for you. Do you like it? Btw, you don't have to worry, of course I did not forget on hole on for the wings." Yes, I forgot a few times that I had wings when I was making clothes.

"Thank you!" She said as charming smile appeared on her face. Am I in a romance novel? This is supposed to be a weak to strong fantasy, no time for romance. If I wasn't asexual, I would immediately want her as a wife, but there is no chance that I will like anyone. Yes, I was a little taken aback by how beautiful she is, but I don't feel any romantic feelings.

After I looked at her one last time, I turned and went back home. It was already getting dark and the stars started to appear in the sky. Until now, I honestly haven't even stopped and looked at the night sky. That's why I decided that instead of going home, I would fly to the roof and look at the sky.

When I was sitting on the roof, time seemed to stop. The beautiful and colorful sky full of stars was reflected in my eyes. I didn't know how long I sat there, but I noticed that Drea was standing by the chimney, looking at me with a smile.

"Wonderful isn't it?" She said while looking at the sea of stars."Do you see that bright part of the sky over there? People call it the river of souls. The souls of heroes and rulers float in that river. Humans believe in a god called Unmo. According to them, the god once looked at the night sky and decided that it was empty and sad, so he took out his ax and made a hole in it so that the river of souls could be seen.... I don't know why the stars exist, but they are beautiful."

The sky is a bit reminiscent of Earth. There is part of it that resembled the milky way was visible. Here people just call it the river of souls.

"Hmm btw can you tell me more about that god Unmo? Is he real or just a product of human imagination?" I asked Drea.

"He's not real i think, but I think some gods might exist. But for as long as I could remember I had not seen any god." Said Drea with sad smile. "And even if there was a god like the one humans believe in, I would destroy him. Such a god who says to destroy all beings that aren't humans does not deserve to exist."

"I'll help you with that!" I said as I laughed.

"Thanks, but first you need to get more power." She started laughing too.

We joked around for a while and looked at the stars. After that i went home and lay down in bed. My eyelids grew heavy and I fell asleep.

For the first time in this world, I had a dream.

It was a wonderful dream about how I was sailing on a river full of lights. The wind carried small green leaves that fell into the water. When I sailed, I arrived at a place where there were no lights in the water. Out of nowhere, a red light appeared in my hand, which was much smaller than the other lights I had seen. I don't know why, but I put the light in the water and it lit up with bright red light. A lot of other colorful lights appeared around that small light. I woke up at that moment.

I don't know why, but when I woke up, a tear ran down my face. I decided to start by washing my body in the river. Then I went to have breakfast with Drea and Pramis.

"Good morning Drea and Pramis." I said with a smile.

"Good morning!" Both answered enthusiastically.

"What do we have for breakfast today?" Drea asked.

"First, you don't need to eat, and second, I'll try to make something out of fruit. I'll see how it goes." I answered Drea.

In the middle of cooking, I remembered something. "Pramis, do you want to have a fight with me after breakfast? I would like to learn to fight better and I think a fight with Drea would be overkill. I need to fight someone who is as strong as me. Of course no magic just Summon weapons. What do you think?"

Pramis eyes started to sparkle. "Of course! To be honest, if you hadn't asked, I would have asked later!"

"Okay I am looking forward to it!" I said as I continued to cook.

After I finished cooking and we ate breakfast. We headed to the new outdoor training area. We both summoned our summoned weapons and charged at each other.

*Swing, swing, kling, klang*

We just started and she almost beat me. I tried to stab and she dodged and knocked mine out of the way with her weapon. Then she aimed the blade at my neck. If I hadn't managed to block it with my speed, I would have already lost. With a quick spin of the spear, I aimed the blunt side of the spear at her chest and tried to strike her. She deflected it again. She didn't expect that by deflecting it I would hit her in the shoulder with a sharp side. A scratch appeared on her shoulder and blood began to flow out of it. Fortunately, I managed to slow down the attack, otherwise it would have gone badly. And so ended our first duel. It was close but I won.
