"My queen!" Sage awoke from her slumber when she heard a familiar voice call out loudly.
She yawned, stretched her arms, and smiled as she remembered what had happened the night before. She had a good sleep.
When she opened her eyes, there was no sign of Cyrus, she wasn't surprised but intrigued noticing that room was brighter than usual because the curtains were drawn away from the windows, allowing sunlight to shine through.
"My queen!" Ava called out again.
"Come in," Sage yawned and moved her gaze to the door, which opened instantly, revealing Ava, who looked relieved to see her.
"You are awake!" Ava exclaimed.
Sage looked at her, remembering how she had hurt Ava the last time they spoke.
"I am sorry Ava, I..." she sighed.
"It is okay, my queen; you a lot on your plate. It is completely understandable." Ava cut in, brightly smiling.
