Ming Yue woke up from sleep during afternoon.
She then wanted to know about her surroundings as Ming Yue didn't usually go outside from the residence.
Right then someone knocked
"Come in"
A young girl came and never looking towards the young miss's eyes, she asked
"Young miss would you like to have Lunch?"
Ming Yue was quite curious as to why she didn't look up so she asked
"Why are you not looking up?"
"To reply young miss, young miss had asked this servant to not look at her while speaking."
"You don't have to follow that anymore. You can look up while speaking to me."
Mei simply nodded, and brought her lunch shortly after.
During lunch Ming Yue asked Mei about herself and found out that Ming Yue was rather a timid person and Lue yi and her mother would bully Ming Yue very much.
After her lunch she decided to visit her beloved sister as general had went to royal palace.
Ming Yue arrived at Lue yi's pine courtyard where she was nagging at her personal maid Mia.
Pine courtyard wasn't as big and lavish as Yùlán courtyard but it was better than the normal ones. Pine courtyard's main hall was quite big and had beautiful pine tree engraved on the pillar, after going inside a large corridor one could reach the master bedroom where Luo Yi lived and beside it was Lue Yi's bedroom. Pine courtyard too had it's own personal servant quarters but it wasn't as good as Yùlán courtyard's. But since it was the official wife's courtyard it was naturally good.
When Lue Yi saw Ming Yue arrive, she was already enraged by her personal maid because she had knocked down a jade vase, she abruptly stopped nagging and with a disdainful look she asked,
"How are you now, second sister?"
"En, Ming Yue is well now, first miss"
She emphasized on the word miss, not recognising her as her sister.
Mia left to bring some tea for first miss and second miss, then Ming Yue spoke again,
"First Miss, Ming Yue is her to settle some matters"
"I don't quite understand what second miss is trying to imply?"
After Ming Yue addressed her as miss how could Lue yi lose her face?!
"First Miss, if you remember I had fallen to the lake , and I clearly remember you being there"
Ming Yue was deliberately lying, while keeping a straight face as she wanted to trap Lue yi and the punish her later for harming her.
Listening to this, Lue Yi was enraged, though she was the one who had instigated third miss to push Ming Yue, it was Lue Yi's plan all along. With a loud bang, Lue Yi lost all of her calmness and shouted
"What the hell do you mean? Have you forgotten your status? "
"So it was indeed, first miss"
"Yes it was me, so what?"
"Since it was you, we have some matters to settle to"
Right then, Lue Yi's personal maid, Mia walked in with tea and some snacks and pretended to not hear their conversation, she put the tray in the table and started brewing the tea. Mia was accustomed to her miss throwing a tantrum, it was nothing new to her.
Ming Yue turned towards Mei and Mia and said "Go out and don't let anyone in for sometime"
Mia was reluctant to leave as she was first miss's servant, she looked towards first miss and when Lue Yi slightly nodded, she left the room and stood guard outside with Mei.
Lue Yi was pampered by Luo Yi and had never cultivated, Lue Yi was still in beginner warrior rank and naturally had no combat skills as well, though Ming Yue also had no cultivation skills, she was thoroughly skilled in combat and had a upper hand if she were to fight Lue yi.
Ming Yue silently walked towards Lue Yi and held Lue Yi's hand and dragged her towards the centre of the room
Being dragged by a weak girl like Ming Yue, Lue Yi was very embarrassed and her face flushed like a tomato, she angrily said
"What the hell are you doing Ming Yue?"
Ming Yue replied nothing and continued dragging her and then she poured the hot tea in her chest and thighs area, Lue yi screamed at the top of her lungs, crying and sobbing,
Not being able to hold in any longer Mia and Mei entered the room but what they saw was very..... conflicting.
They saw the first miss slapping second miss while first miss' body was drenched in hibiscus tea.
Second miss' white porcelain face was stained with the shape of a hand now. Small beads of tears could be seen in second miss's thick lashes, her cheeks were flushed pink while fist miss's hair and clothes were disheveled and her face showed and ugly expression.
Mei was beyond enraged and without thinking she went towards Ming Yue and started crying,
Ming Yue forced her tears and was sobbing as well, at the same time Third concubine Huang Shi's personal maid happened to be passing by, hearing the commotion Huang Shi's maid came as well and saw the spectating scene.
Huang Shi's personal maid ran towards the bamboo courtyard and told everything she saw there to Huang Shi. Huang Shi's father was a official in Ministry of revenue and she was the daughter of the official wife, though being the daughter of official wife she was just a concubine in Lee house, how could she not feel grieved? Luo Yi was the official wife only because of her relationship with the royal family and Huang Shi loathed her for that, so she would always try to bring Luo Yi down in any occasion and right now heavens had given her the chance!
Luo Yi's daughter had bullied General Lee's most favoured daughter!
Huang Shi went to the pine courtyard with an excuse of meeting Luo Yi and 'she just happened to pass by Lue Yi's room' where Ming Yue was sitting beside the table, while her personal maid was putting cold cloth on Ming Yu's cheek, while Lue Yi had just finished changing and was coming out of the dividing screen.
Seeing the situation with her own eyes, Huang Shi was overjoyed but with a soft expression she went towards Ming Yue and said,
"Oh my! Yue Yue what happened to your face?"
Ming Yue kept quiet, Huang Shi thought Ming Yue was really scared but in fact Ming Yue was just too bored to reply so she put on a sad expression, seeing her miss's sad expression Mei stood up and said,
"Greetings third concubine, to reply third concubine first miss slapped second miss."
Hearing this, Huang Shi stood up and looked towards Lue Yi who was proudly sitting on her bed. She didn't even rise to greet her elder!
Huang Shi concealed her anger, and coldly said to Lue Yi,
"First miss, even though I am not your mother you should atleast have some respect for your elder."
Lue Yi was already angered and annoyed by Ming Yue and then Huang Shi came along as well, regaining her composure she stood up and without much courtesy said
"Greetings, third aunt"
Huang Shi huffed her shoulders and disregardingly said,
"I wonder how first sister have raised you to be so impudent and rude towards your elders, perhaps she haven't disciplined you enough!"
Then she looked towards Ming Yue, though Huang Shi didn't particularly like Ming Yue but , this girl was better than that brat Lue Yi,
Ming Yue was prettier and had a quiet and composed behaviour as well, Ming Yue's beautiful brown orbs and thick and curled lashes reminded her of Ming Yue's mother
Jiang Molan, Ming Yue was almost a splitting image of her beautiful mother, Huang Shi then said to Ming Yue,
"Yue Yue come on, let's go to third aunt's courtyard, when master Lee will come we'll go to him, okay?"
Ming Yue silently nodded and Mei followed her young miss, while leaving the room Ming Yue looked at Lue Yi, her eyes held killing intent and her face showed utter disgust, she looked nothing like the girl that was crying just now!
While heading towards the bamboo courtyard, Ming Yue and Huang Shi encountered General Lee, Ming Yue had not noticed that it wasn't early anymore.
Seeing General Lee both Huang Shi and Ming Yue bowed down and said
"Greetings, General Lee"
"Greetings, Father"
Seeing Ming Yue's swollen cheek, Ming Lee* was anxious, he had almost lost his precious daughter recently and now seeing her cheek swollen he was almost enraged, without concealing his anger, he asked
"What happened?"
Ming Yue looked up to meet Ming Lee's eyes, tears were forming on her beautiful brown orbs, under the dim lighting of the lanterns her eyes seemed to hold a turmoil of emotions, her appearance was too pitiful, she said
"Daddy, first elder sister hit me."
Ming Lee was truly enraged! How could he bear his little precious daughter be bullied by others?? He told Ming Yue to go to her courtyard and then he stormed towards pine courtyard.
